Judicial report: 1) SUPPLEMENTARY FROM 23 APRIL - NZ OAKS (Race 10)... A post-mortem conducted on GEE WHIZZ JEANIE which collapsed and died at last night's races revealed that the cause of death was an inner abdominal haemorrhage. It was likely that this was induced by the fall on the first bend although this could not be proved conclusively. 2) ANOTHER JAMIE (J McInerney) completed a satisfactory trial and will race in blinkers in future assignments. 3) Trainers R Adcock and J Goode both admitted breaches of Rule 70 when being late to kennel their dogs and were each fined $50.00 as per the Minor Infringements Table. 4) BADUZZI (J McInerney) must complete a satisfactory trial as per Rule 79.5 after having not pursued the lure but subsequently found to have a serious injury following the running of Race 4.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C0 - 295	ANOTHER RUSS (7) was very slow to jump. Into the bend LUCAS SCOTT (1) checked outwards off runners pushing SACAJAWEA (5) and OUR JOHN (2) wider on the track. COLERIDGE JIM (8) and OUR JOHN came together early in the run home.
Race 2	Hampden Tavern Dash - C0 - 295	ANOTHER KEY (7) was difficult to box in this event. GLADYS EMMANUEL (2), MUST DESIRE (3) and ANOTHER PENNY (5) were the last trio on jumping. Into the bend MUST DESIRE ran inwards pushing GLADYS EMMANUEL into the rail with this runner losing her chance. ANOTHER PENNY was also inconvenienced in this incident. A post race veterinary check of GLADYS EMMANUEL revealed no injury. MAGIC GINA (6) checked outwards off runners on the home turn and lost ground. GUMP'S THE NAME (8) ran very wide on the home turn.
Race 3	Kolorful Kanvas Sprint - C1 - 295	RATTLESNAKE JAKE (1), JAMAICAN ARCHIE (3) and BUTTERFLY TERRA (5) were the last trio on settling. AIR EXPRESS (8) ran inwards and was checked from behind by JAMAICAN ARCHIE into the bend. AIR EXPRESS lost momentum and JAMAICAN ARCHIE ran outwards forcing MAY MAY LAST (6) over extra ground. JAMAICAN ARCHIE continued to race wide around the bend and in the home straight.
Race 4	Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C0 - 295	This race was delayed by two minutes at the request of Raceday Control. ANOTHER QUEEN (1) and FIRST OFFICER (3) were the slowest from the traps. TIMELY REMINDER (4) was badly tightened in the early stages and dropped to the rear. OHOKA TORI (7) and THESEUS (5) were both checked into the bend losing ground. On the home turn THESEUS clipped the hind quarters of OHOKA TORI when this pair were at the rear. Early in the run home WHAT A PARTY (2) shifted outwards after checking off ANOTHER QUEEN. WHAT A PARTY running outwards caused severe checks to FIRST OFFICER, TIMELY REMINDER and OPAL JEWEL (8) wider out with OHOKA TORI being forced off the track and not finishing the race. BADUZZI (6) eased and turned its head inwards for a few strides on the home turn. BADUZZI was found to have a serious injury in terms of Rule 79.3 and as such is required to complete a satisfactory trial as required by Rule 79.5. All other dogs involved in the home straight incident were checked and cleared by the vet.
Race 5	Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C0 - 520	This race was delayed by two minutes at the request of Raceday Control. GOLDSTAR PO (2) and KNOW LUCK (8) were the last pair on settling. HIP HOP SOFIA (3), MOBILIZE (4) and OPAWA BUCKS EYE (9) were all badly tightened in the run to the first bend. On the first bend JINJA BILLY (6) ran inwards and collided with MOBILIZE with JINJA BILLY losing its chance at this stage. A post race veterinary check revealed no abnormality. OPAWA BuCKS EYE ran very wide around that bend. MOBILIZE ran wide on the home turn.
Race 6	Clarkson Sign Studio Dash - C1 - 295	LIL DANNY RASCAL (1) and SKILLZ TAYLOR (4) were last to jump. ANOTHER FAN (7) stumbled soon after dispatch and was then badly checked by SKILLZ TAYLOR which had run outwards. RANGITATA RAIDER (3) ran wide on the home turn. ANOTHER FAN was checked and cleared by the vet post race.
Race 7	DogZone Stakes - C0 - 520	SUSAN JEWEL (8) and OPAWA DARCEE (10) were the last pair from the traps. ZAHRA MOON (3) was tightened into the first bend and lost ground. ZAHRA MOON then came together with OPAWA DARCEE with this pair losing ground. BORN TO BOOM (1) was found to have a bleeding quick following this event with a 7 day stand down imposed.
Race 8	Opawa Bowl & Jack Tavern Sprint - C2 - 295	TONY'S CHOICE (2) and TOKEN RAY (6) were the last pair from the traps. JINJA LOCH (1) angled outwards into the bend and was dragged down for a stride losing some momentum. On the home turn TONY'S CHOICE angled outwards pushing TOKEN RAY wider on the track.
Race 9	christchurchgreyhounds.co.nz Stakes - C1 - 520	KNOW WORTH (6) and OPAWA KURU (7) were the last pair on jumping. JEWEL APACHE (3) angled inwards in the early stages tightening BRISEUR DE REVES (2) and ALBIE JAY (1). Into the first bend KNOW SMIGGLE (5) received a check when racing to the outside of JEWEL APACHE with KNOW SMIGGLE losing ground.
Race 10	Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C2 - 295	GOLDSTAR MARIO (2) dropped to the rear in the early stages. LA FONTAINE (3) was checked into the bend as SPIDER GIRL (7) crossed in front with COUNTRY CROSSING (5) and BLONDE TORI (6) being inconvenienced in behind. CHERRY CRUSHER (1) was tightened on the bend and ran outwards losing ground.
Race 11	The Turf Bar Stakes - C1 - 520	KIRKHAM JACK (6) was last to jump. Into the first bend GOLDSTAR JUNIOR (3) was checked as KIRKHAM JACK improved to its inside with GOLDSTAR JUNIOR being pushed outwards on to OPAWA SHACKLEY (7) which was forced to cover extra ground.
Race 12	Livamol Sprint - C2 - 295	BLUE REVIEW (8) was last to jump. LOOK AT LUCY (4) was tightened into the bend as ZULU BRO (6) crossed to lead with LOOK AT LUCY then being badly dragged down dropping to a clear last. LOOK AT LUCY was referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of injury. In this incident BUTTERBEAN (2) and MR. JOHNNY (9) were hampered losing ground with BLUE REVIEW forced to race wide around these runners. MR. JOHNNY checked off the rear of BATIATUS (5) on the home turn.
Race 13	Non Tote - Tier 2 - 295	PAGANI (2) was slow to jump. WRINKLES (6) and PAGANI came together racing into the bend with WRINKLES losing ground and dropping to the rear. WRINKLES was examined by the vet and cleared of injury. MEMPHIS GIRL (3) ran wide on the home turn.
