Judicial report: SUPPLEMENTARY from Christchurch GRC - 2 April 2015. In accordance with the provisions of Rule 91.20 Trainer C Roberts sought a review of the decision to suspend BERRIDALE LAD for marring on 2 April 2015. After considering the evidence at a hearing on 20 April the Judicial Control Authority confirmed the view of the Stewards that BERRIDALE LAD had breached Rule 79.1.a. and the 1 year suspension of the dog was confirmed. GEE WHIZZ JEANIE (B Dann) collapsed and died at the lure following Race 10 with a post-mortem to be carried out.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C3 - 295	NORMAN JEWEL (8) drifted to the rear in the early stages. INCREASING (2) was tightened into the bend losing momentum. HOMEBUSH RILEY (3) angled outwards on the home turn hampering BELLWAVE (9) for a stride.
Race 2	Happy Birthday Pat Low Dash - C4 - 295	OPAWA IDOL (3) leapt in the air as the start was effected and settled a clear last. VAN GERWIN (2) was tightened into the bend and checked outwards losing ground.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Dash - C3 - 295	GLENN IS GOODSEY (2) was last from the traps. CHOKEHOLD (6) was checked and forced down the track by OPAWA OPAL (7) in the early stages and lost ground. GLENN IS GOODSEY was checked into the bend as CHOKEHOLD continued its movement to the rail. DILLMANSTOWN (9) ran wide on the home turn.
Race 4	Robbie's Bar & Bistro Riccarton Stakes - C3/4 - 520	JESSIE SURFS (6) ran inwards in the early stages tightening OPAWA KAREN (5), CAN'T CATCH TIM (4) and ARCANE SABRE (3) with this trio settling at the rear. WEARS THE GOLD (2) angled outwards into the first bend dictating GAME GIRL (8) wider on the track. WEARS THE GOLD continued to cover extra ground for the remainder of the event. JESSIE SURFS was held up for clear racing room on the home turn. OPAWA KAREN and ARCANE SILVER brushed together for a few strides in the home straight when well back.
Race 5	Chris & Lisa Earl Sprint - C5 - 295	OPAWA COLIN (7) was last to jump. COLLECTING MONEY (4) ran inwards in the early stages causing some tightening to ZIPPING JYE (3) and SOPHIE'S TERRA (2). HOMEBUSH PAIGE (8) and OPAWA COLIN covered extra ground around the bend.
Race 6	Robbie's Bar & Bistro Ashburton Feature - C2 - 520	HOMEBUSH HOWARD (5) came up with the lids and settled last. LAGOON MYTYE (6) ran inwards in the early stages checking PLUTONIUM (3) for a stride. BLACK SAILS (1) ran outwards in the run to the first bend causing checks to PLUTONIUM, LAGOON MYTYE and GOLDSTAR ROSIE (7) with this trio dropping to the rear. BLUSHING BELLE (8) was dragged down for a stride in this incident and turned sideways momentarily with HOMEBUSH HOWARD receiving a check as a result. EXPECT DELAY (4) crossed to the rail at the entrance to the back straight contacting BLACK SAILS which was forced to check outwards losing momentum. ZULU CHANEL (2) raced wide in the back straight.
Race 7	Carol's T.A.B. Dash - C5 - 295	ALLEGRO CHASER (6) ran inwards colliding with CAMSIDE GOLD (4) for a stride in the early stages and then bounced outwards checking PLAGIARISM (7). ALLEGRO CHASER then ran inwards again checking TIME SLAYER (5) and GOLDSTAR CHUMLEE (3) with this trio dropping to the rear. ZORBA THE GREEK (1) shifted up the track on the bend pushing an improving TIME SLAYER over extra ground. HETFIELD (2) ran wide on the home turn. The winner AIDEN BAXTER (8) was trampled at the lure with this runner being referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 8	Nina's Girl Distance Series Final - C1df - 645	MEMORY LAPSE (1) and HIS LORDSHIP (2) were the last pair on jumping. MEMORY LAPSE was then tightened when attempting to recover and lost ground.
Race 9	Christchurch Casino Stakes - C3/4 - 520	OPAWA AMY (7) was last on settling with KAREN'S MAGIC (2), OPAWA ROCKY (6) and CAWBOURNE WITCH (8) also tardy from the traps. OPAWA ROCKY ran inwards tightening KAREN'S MAGIC in the run to the first bend. LAGOON MAY (4) dropped out on the home turn to finish a clear last with this bitch being referred to the vet for assessment where no injury was detected. Trainer C Roberts advised that LAGOON MAY had undergone a toe operation while having a spell and although having trialled prior to this assignment he felt that the bitch would derive benefit from tonight's run.
Race 10	Robbie's Bar & Bistro NZ Oaks Final - R/Af - 520	WINSOME JENNY (3) was last on settling. TINA (1) ran outwards in the run down the first straight causing tightening to GEE WHIZZ JEANIE (2). OPAWA ROSIE (7) ran inwards in the run to the first bend initially checking KINLOCH POWER (6) which lost ground. OPAWA ROSIE continued its inward movement on the bend severely tightening SPANISH FANCY (5) and GEE WHIZZ JEANIE which both fell. TINA was also badly checked in this incident. On the home turn CAWBOURNE BRIGHT (4) and KINLOCH POWER made solid contact. The two fallers both regained their paws and finished to the lure. SPANISH FANCY was cleared of injury following its fall. GEE WHIZZ JEANIE collapsed and died at the lure with a post-mortem examination to be carried out.
Race 11	C.T.V. Sprint - C5 - 295	SOUMILLON (6) was last to jump. KNOW PRIDE (4) ran outwards checking SOUMILLON in the early stages. LITTLE REGUS (1) shifted up the track into the bend pushing NO LEAF CLOVER (3) wider on the track.
Race 12	Protexin Sprint - C4 - 295	ON THE LEVEL (9) and RODRIGUEZ (7) were the last pair on jumping. HOMEBUSH CHOPPER (4) ran inwards checking WHITEY'S GONE (3) into the bend with this pair dropping to the rear. HOMEBUSH CHOPPER was referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of any abnormality.
