Track: Good After a lot of heavy rain previous to the meeting the track staff presented the track in a good racing condition through out the day. All other equipment operated well through out
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: PADDY BAXTER ( J McInerney ) a scratching in race 10 on today's programme also was in the field and was scratched from race 12 at Palmerston North meeting today, the dog was presented to the Vet at the Wanganui Greyhound meeting on 10-4-2015 where a 7 day stand down was imposed .
BAD BUSINESS was hard to box away again today in race 5 and will be placed on the box first for his immediate starts.

Race 1	Lochinvar Marlow Sprint - C0 - 318	LIFE CYCLE was a late scratching at kennelling after the dog had been injured on the way to the track From the jump BOTANY HOT SHOT ran in sharply running in to ENFORCED KIWI and WATCH THAT GYPSY, BOTANY HOT SHOT kept of racing across checking SKYLER WHITE and MYTHOLOGY ( fav ) , MYTHOLOGY, SKYLER WHITE and ENFORCED KIWI lost ground back to the rear as they raced on to the bend. Racing across the top bend BOTANY HOT SHOT was forced to check off the heels of LEGATO BAY as this runner crossed to the rail going back several lengths ,then came together with WATCH THAT GYPSY on the home turn ,both runners losing momentum for a couple of strides.
Race 2	NZ Racing Series Novice Heat 1 - NZRSq - 527 Heat 1	BOTANY SEL dwelt at the start. Racing in to the bend on the first occasion HOMEBUSH SPOOK and BOTANY SEL bumped as HOMEBUSH SPOOK angled inwards ,both runners lost momentum and were the last two runners at this point. Racing to the home turn MISS VEYRON was chasing the leader some 6 or so lengths back was hampered for a few strides as JINGA JAM raced around on her outer and ALAMEIN JUDE ran on to the back of her for a stride or two ,MISS VEYRON compounded in the latter stages to finish amongst the beaten runners at the line.
Race 3	NZ Racing Series Novice Heat 2 - NZRSq - 527 Heat 2	ROCKET SHIP MAC dwelt at the start. In the run in to the bend on the first occasion there was crowding as OPAWA PEARL raced across from the wide box pushing JOE JOE in across the face of BANBIT \, a couple of strides on CARTER CASH came out bumping OPAWA PEARL out on to JOE JOE ( fav ) forcing this runner wide. JOE JOE improved steadily there after to run down ANOTHER FANTASY late in the run home.
Race 4	NZ Racing Series Novice Heat 3 - NZRSq - 527 Heat 3	In the run in to the bend on the first occasion CIRCLE OF GOLD moved inwards in to the side of PROCRASTINATION as HOMEBUSH LUCIFER came across on to CICLE OF GOLD who was pushed sideways on to HOMEBUSH LUCIFER who caught the hindquarters of MILLENIA causing this dog to stumble and fall with ALAMEIN BLONDE and CIRCLE OF GOLD going over the top of MILLENIA and falling, HOME BUSH LUCIFER stayed on his feet and recovered in to the race quickly. CIRCLE OF GOLD and ALAMEIN BLONDE recovered to their feet to finish on to the lure some distance and were referred to the vet for assessment. MILLENIA was caught on the track soon after falling and taken off for veterinary assessment. ALAMEIN BLONDE was found to have right deep pectoral pain a 10 day stand down was imposed. CIRCLE OF GOLD was cleared of abnormalities PROCRASTINATION was referred to the vet at the Trainers request after being injure at the lure where left fore laceration a 7 day stand down was imposed.
Race 5	Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C0 - 318	BAD BUSINESS dwelt at the start being last away . Racing on to the first bend HOMEBUSH INQUIRY and BOTANY FLAME came together tangling for a stride or so resulting n BOTANY FLAME stumbling for a stride losing momentum, on the inner BAD BUSINESS was improving where he appeared to go off stride going back on to BOTANY FLAME who had crossed down to the rail both runners were checked losing momentum. BAD BUSINESS was referred to the vet for assessment as a precaution where no abnormalities were found.
Race 6	Carol's TABS Sprint - C1 - 318	In the run across the top bend HOMEBUSH TED on the inner was held up for a couple of strides losing momentum when caught in behind MADAM KNOCKA ,HOMEBUSH TED was unable to improve there after finishing in the rear at the line. MADAM KNOCKA was referred to the vet at the trainers request later where the dog was found to have a cut to a toe on the right hind a 6 day stand down was imposed
Race 7	Sel's TAB Mangere Sprint - C3 - 318	On getting away from the start CONTEMPERANEOUS, FORTIS LION and HOMEBUSH CRASH all came together for a couple of strides. In the run in to the first bend CONTEMPERANEOUS angled inwards severely tightening FORTIS LION, HOMEBUSH CRASH pushing these runners in across the heels of MEMBERS ONLY, several strides on HOMEBUSH and MEMBERS ONLY bumped ,MEMBERS ONLY went off stride dropping off the back off the field finishing a margin in the rear at the line. MEMBERS ONLY was referred to the vet for assessment where a strained hock injury was found a 60 day stand down was imposed.
Race 8	Greyhounds North Maiden Distance - C0d - 603	In the run along the back straight MONTANA well back in the field attempted to make ground along the inner was held up for some distance in behind KWASANT and LEGAL AID ,by the time he got clear he was too far back to make any impression finishing with the tail enders.
Race 9	DogZone Sprint - C1 - 318	HOMEBUSH SPIKE began awkwardly from box 2. soon after the ATOONGA AIR, WHAT'S UP WATTO, POPPA CONQUEST and THRILLING ORLA all came together bumping and jostling with POPPA CONQUEST stumbling for a stride losing momentum and a couple of lengths
Race 10	Plasterboard Ltd Stakes - C1/2 - 527	POPCORN SUTTON missed the start slightly, she was bumped as ARTIC ROUGE and pushed inwards as KING'S LEGACY moved inwards, POPCORN SUTTON improved racing around the first bend to run to the lead at the end of the back straight cutting inwards checking JETSUN JINNY who went back several lengths. POPCORN SUTTON led to the home turn where she was bumped as ZIPPING REECE raced through on her inner to the lead, POPCORN SUTTON lost ground finishing in behind midfield at the line. KING'S LEGACY after being handy in the early running drifted off the back of the field by several lengths racing in to the final bend finishing just in behind the last runners at the line. POPCORN SUTTON and KING'S LEGACY were referred to the vet for assessment where both dogs were cleared of abnormalities.
Race 11	Trophies Plus Sprint - C1 - 318	THRILLING FLORA was away well in the early she was tightened between JUST ABOUT READY and OPAWA VENUS soon after going back towards the rear, racing in to the first bend JETSUN STORM cut inwards across the face of THRILLING FLORA who ran out over heels going amiss at this point finishing a margin in the rear at the line. THRILLING FLORA was referred to the vet for assessment where she was found to have a fracture of the right hock.
Race 12	Deli's Sports Bar Clendon Inn Sprint - C2 - 318	In the run to the first bend THRILLING SPELL ( fav ) moved outwards as LENNY MAC angled in resulting in CAWBOURNE KIWI and TOXIC REVENGE being checked ,this made worse as ARIZONA SKY cut inwards across the face of these runners forcing TOXIC REVENGE sideways back out on to CAWBOURNE KIWI SOMEBODY TIFI came inwards badly tightening and checking LENNY MAC and CAWBOURNE KIWI, these two runners went back to the rear . Racing in to the bend ARIZONA SKY improving towards the leader cut inwards across the face of THRILLING SPELL checking her ,she lost moment and several lengths going out wide off heels ,TOXIC REVENGE improving in behind THRILLING SPELL ran in to her hindquarters checking her again . THRILLING SPELL recovered to finish in to 4th placing at the line. racing on to the top bend LENNY MAC on the inner was hampered as SOMEBODY TIFI angled in on to CAWBOURNE KIWI with these these dogs racing in tight quarters for some strides.
