Track: Dead The track was presented in good safe order for racing but was slushy after heavy rain fell prior to and during the meeting.

Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: Trainer G.Hodgson was fined $ 100-00 under Rule 69.11 when WEE DIGER was presented 2.1 kilograms up in weight from his last start on 20.03.2015. Due to a combination of the wet weather, the short gaps between some of the races and the fact that there has been a recent change to the management of the kennels, some of the later races on the programme were started slightly behind the advertized times.

Race 1	Turakina Petshop C0 - C0 - 375	CAWBOURNE LEGS and DARK GARNAH were very slow to begin losing three lengths. BUNDORAN LASS began well to be handy going to the first corner but then drifted back through the field and finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have quadricep and tricep muscle injuries.
Race 2	Grant Irvine Pharmacy C1 - C1 - 375	GUMMY GUMPSTA checked off the heels of PRECIOUSLY going into the bend and shifted out causing checks to PUKEWHAI MAGIC and NOMINAL LILY and all three lost three lengths. PUKEWHAI MAGIC recovered the best of the three and made up ground to finish in 4th place. NOMINAL LILY was referred to the Vet at the Trainers request and found to have pectoral, tricep muscle and hip support injuries.
Race 3	J P Print, Petone C1 - C1 - 375	One of the favourites CHLOE'S PRODIGY was slow to begin losing two lengths and he stayed well back throughout. HOMEBUSH ENVY shifted in abruptly from the start and checked CLEARLY MAGIC which lost two lengths and she never recovered from the incident and finished in last place. CAWBOURNE CRAZY laid out and hampered POWERHOUSE LEE for some distance in the run to the first corner.
Race 4	Greyhounds As Pets C1 - C1 - 375	DO MORE went to the lead from the start and led by four lengths going to the bend but then drifted on the bend and finished several lengths last. DO MORE was referred to the Vet for assessment and SPACE CAPTAIN was tightened between HOMEBUSH DODGER and MY FIRST LITTER going into the bend and was checked back to last and stayed well back.
Race 5	Warehouse Stationery C2 - C2 - 375	ZULU MERCEDES shifted out on the bend and caused checks to HOMEBUSH DAWN and WEE DIGER which both lost three lengths. A short distance further on, HOMEBUSH DAWN checked off the back of ACAPELLA and almost fell losing several lengths and all chance and she finished last.
Race 6	Hoult Contractors Ltd C3 - C3 - 375	GRAND ALLEGRO and SEMANTICS were slow to begin and settled back. GRAND ALLEGRO checked off the back of RUNS FOR GAS going into the bend and shifted out causing checks to FASTBACK KING and SEMANTICS and all three lost four lengths and stayed back to finish at the rear.
Race 7	Paul Claridge Electrical C3 - C3 - 375	SERENA ROSE made contact with the hind quarters of UNLIKELY ATTACK and went back causing checks to MISS FOXY MINX, MANU RAMA, MERCENARY and WAIMAK DAVE which all lost ground and went back to the rear. MISS FOXY MINX and MANU RAMA recovered the best of the affected runners and they finished in 3rd and 4th places.
Race 8	Brooks Timing C4 - C4 - 375	SWEET AS BRO blundered in her initial stride out of the boxes but recovered quickly to settle in a handy position. HERE WITHOUT YOU shifted in going into the bend and checked BIG BOY DENO which lost ground and went back to the rear where he stayed for the remainder of the race.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company Ltd C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	BIGTIME DASHER was slow to begin losing two lengths. ARCANE SABRE momentarily steaded going into the bend when avoiding the heels of CAWBOURNE BRICK and became unbalanced for a short distance and brushed against the rail losing five lengths.
Race 10	Personal Protective Services Ltd C1 - C1 - 457	WHERE'S SHIRAZ, MALAKAI MAGIC and THRILLING TOBY were slow to begin losing two lengths and WHERE'S SHIRAZ blundered soon after when cannoned into by MALAKAI MAGIC, losing further ground and settled at the rear. TAIKOREA LASS drifted going into the bend and stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 11	Affordable Pet Accessories C1 - C1 - 457	THUMB PRINT TONY was slow to begin and settled back where he stayed throughout the race. RITZA ROSE checked off the heels of SARAH CAMPBELL going into the bend and shifted out making contact with MAGIC WHITELOCK and they became unbalanced and lost ground.
Race 12	Manawatu Harness Racing Club C2/3 - C2/3 - 457	REBEL AWAY began awkwardly losing ground and he was checked soon after when MANYANA GROPER and HE'S A JESSIE shifted in and he settled at the rear.
