| Race 1 | Manukau Sports Bowl Series Heat 1 - C1q - 318 Heat 1 | ATOONGA AIR (2) was last to leave the boxes. Soon after leaving the boxes WILD FALCON (5) shifted in tightening FRANKINCENSE (4) in onto SPEED LORDE (3) with these runners coming together for a distance all becoming unbalanced losing ground. COSMIC WARRA (1) and ATOONGA AIR came together entering the first turn with COSMIC WARRA losing ground. MAKING YOU PAW (6) and WICKED TYCOON (7) came together entering the final straight. COSMIC WARRA was referred tio the veterinarian following this event which revealed no abnormality. |
| Race 2 | Manukau Sports Bowl Series Heat 2 - C1q - 318 Heat 2 | ACONAGUA (5) and MELMAN (4) were last to leave the boxes with these runners then colliding soon after the start. BECOMING PAW (2) and DRURY (3) came together leaving the boxes then jostled for a distance. ASIA OSTEE (9) and ANOTHER FANTASY (6) soon after the start then making contact on several occasions racing down the back straight with these runners then becoming unbalanced entering the first turn both losing ground. Also inconvenienced as a result was MELMAN. ACONAGUA and WHAT'S UP WATTO (8) came together rounding the bend with both runners inconvenienced. ASIA OSTEE was referred to the veterinarian with no abnormality detected. |
| Race 3 | Sel's TAB Mangere Sprint - C2 - 318 | ZIPPING REECE (5) and BELFAST JANE (2) were slow away. Soon after the start AZURE DREAMS (6) angled in tightening LENNY MAC (4) then COUGER ALERT (3)who was hampered. Racing down the back straight COME ON MICKEY (8) made solid contact with LENNY MAC. At the same time YOU'RE LUCKY (1) and BELFAST JANE (2) came together with both runners unbalanced losing ground. Entering the first turn COME ON MICKEY and LENNY MAC came together becoming unbalanced with COME ON MICKY then shifting out taking ZIPPING REECE wider on the track. COUGER ALERT (3) and LENNY MAC came together rounding the bend with YOU'RE LUCKY briefly tightened to the inside of these runners and COUGER ALERT losing ground. As a result COUGER ALERT went back onto COME ON MICKEY and ZIPPING REECE who were both inconvenienced. YOU'RE LUCKY and LENNY MAC came together rounding the final bend and early in the final straight. |
| Race 4 | Plasterboard Ltd Stakes - C3/4 - 527 | WINSOME JENNY (6) was slow away. ALWAYS WELCOME (5) and INDI RHODE (7) made contact soon after the start. KISSEN RUN (2) and FORTIS FLIER (3) came together racing toward the first turn. Entering the first turn INDI RHODE shifted in making solid contact with LUCKY MAN (4) with both runners badly unbalanced, LUCKY MAN almost falling. Inconvenienced as a result was HARAJUKU BABY (1) and WINSOME JENNY. KISSEN RUN and FORTIS FLIER came together rounding the first turn with these runners losing ground. A post race veterinary examination of LUCKY MAN revealed no abnormality. |
| Race 5 | Carol's TABS Sprint - C4/5 - 318 | CALL ME BLUE was a late scratching on veterinary advice at 10.02am. CALL ME RALPH (2) and ROTOVEGAS BOSS (3) collided soon after the start then jostled for a distance with CALL ME RALPH losing ground. DOUBLE MAGIC (7) shifted in slightly racing down the back straight making contact with HARVEY NICHOLS (4) who lost ground with CALL ME RALPH then getting on this runners heels. As a result CALL ME RALPH shifted out making contact with IT'S THE DREAM (8) who was hampered, with both runners taken wide losing ground. |
| Race 6 | Greyhounds North Graduation Distance - C1d - 603 | THREE RIVERS was a late scratching on veterinary advice at 10.24am. Soon after the start WHO DAT BOY (5), KITTY'S SHIRAZ (4) and RAMAH REASON (3) were tightened losing ground when JELLY GEM (6) shifted in. |
| Race 7 | MTA Gift Vouchers Series Final - C4f - 318 | NEED TO CHILL (3) and GAINSFORD (4) were tightened and hampered soon after the start between SNAPCHAT (2) and WHERE'S CARLOS (5) who shifted in abruptly with these runners coming together and SNAPCHAT losing ground as a result. OPAWA UNO (1) and CHARLIE'S FUNDS (8) made contact entering the first turn with CHARLIE'S FUNDS losing ground. As a result CHARLIE'S FUNDS went back tightening WHERE'S CARLOS who had to steady inconveniencing NEED TO CHILL who got on this runners heels for a stride. SNAPCHAT lost ground rounding the first turn when having to steady off the heels of NEED TO CHILL. SNAPCHAT shifted out abruptly entering the final straight making solid contact with NEED TO CHILL with both runners badly unbalanced. |
| Race 8 | Deli's Sports Bar Clendon Inn Stakes - C1 - 527 | CARTER CASH (5) and OUR HEISENBERG (6) made solid contact leaving the boxes with both runners unbalanced and OUR HEISENBERG losing considerable ground. JINJA JAM (7) then shifted in making contact with CARTER CASH. Soon after the start BOSS WAVE (3) had to shift in abruptly off the heels of PERCENTAGE GIRL (1) with BOSS WAVE then making contact with MILLENIA (2). Entering the first turn OUR HEISENBERG, CARTER CASH, MILLENIA and BOSS WAVE came together with CARTER CASH and OUR HEISENBERG shifting out as a result. CARTER CASH then made contact with BOSS WAVE and OUR HEISENBERG on several occasions rounding the first turn with these runners losing ground. |
| Race 9 | Easter Cup - C5 - 527 | METHOD MAN (3) made brief contact with the hindquarters of PRETTY CHIC (2) entering the first turn. METHOD MAN then gave ground rounding the first turn appearing uncomfortable in its action with a post race veterinary examination revealing pain to the right long head triceps and right wrist with a 42 day stand down imposed. MOORE PARK MISS (6) and GOOD RETURN (8) came together entering the final straight when racing toward the rear of the field. |
| Race 10 | Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C3 - 318 | TONGARIRO (4) and FORTIS LION (6) were slow away. Soon after the start FORTIS FIONA (3) angled in tightening HANNIBAL LECTER (2) and CONTEMPORANEOUS (1) who were both taken into the rail becoming unbalanced. MR. MUMBLES (5) and TONGARIRO made contact racing down the back straight with TONGARIRO losing ground and shifting out into the line of FORTIS LION, who got on this runners heels for a stride, before coming together with DON DRAPER (8). Rounding the bend CONTEMPORANEOUS shifted out making contact with DON DRAPER who was unbalanced also hampered as a result was HANNIBAL LECTER, who lost ground, and TONGARIRO who was taken very wide. CONTEMPORANEOUS was referred to the veterinarian for assessment with no abnormality detected. HANNIBAL LECTER underwent a post race veterinary examination which revealed pain to the left deltoid with a 14 day stand down imposed. |
| Race 11 | Easter Sprint - C5 - 318 | COSMIC MACK (7) was slow away. Soon after the start MACJAM (8) angled in inconveniencing NGAURUHOE (6) and EXPLOSIVE OSTI (5). DANATO (2) and UNO LACHLAN (9) came together racing down the back straight and jostled for a distance losing ground as a result. These runners then shifted out entering the first turn inconveniencing EXPLOSIVE OSTI and MACJAM. |
| Race 12 | Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C1 - 318 | PRANCING BEE was last to leave the boxes. Soon after the start CAWBOURNE KIWI (1) shifted out making contact with HOT KING COLE (3) who came together with JUST ABOUT READY (5) who was taken out onto COOL TIME (10) with these runners then all making contact for a distance racing down the back straight. Entering the first turn HOT KING COLE and PRANCING BEE (9) made solid contact with PRANCING BEE losing ground. PRANCING BEE and BEALE STREET collided entering the final straight. |
