| Race 1 | DogZone Sprint - C2 - 318 | BELFAST JANE (7) and ZIPPING REECE (8) came together soon after leaving the boxes. Entering the first turn FRENCH CURVES (1) and ENGLISH HONEY (5) came together with both runners becoming unbalanced with ENGLISH HONEY then falling. Also hampered as a result was OUR JACK ATTACK (4) who was unable to avoid the fallen runner. ZIPPING REECE raced in restricted room to the inside of FORTIS FIONA (2) over the concluding stages. ENGLISH HONEY regained its footing to finish some distance from the field. A post race veterinary examination of ENGLISH HONEY revealed no abnormality. |
| Race 2 | AGRC Rewards Sprint - C0 - 318 | ORBITER (7) began awkwardly. SCOTT SOME GAS (3) and BOTANY HOLLY were slow away. OUT OF TROUBLE (5) and THRILLING GALAXY (8) came together soon after the start. LIFE CYCLE (1) and WICKED TYCOON (2) came together and jostled for several strides soon after the start. Racing toward the first turn ORBITER and BOTANY HOLLY (6) came together with both runners briefly unbalanced. RACEY MACEY (4) and OUT OF TROUBLE (5) collided rounding the first turn with LIFE CYCLE then having to steady off the heels of these runners. RACEY MACEY and THRILLINGH GALAXY made contact rounding the final bend and again early in the final straight. LIFE CYCLE raced wide entering the final straight. |
| Race 3 | Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C4 - 318 | GAINSFORD was returned to boxing away first for todays event and will be boxed first for its immediate future racing. Soon after the start GAINSFORD (8) angled in tightening BELLE BURST (7). SACRED CAN YOU (2), WHERE'S CARLOS (9), SNAPCHAT (4) and OPAWA UNO (5) were all tightened and hampered when CHARLIE'S FUNDS (6) shifted in and NEED TO CHILL (1) shifted out soon after the start with these runners all losing ground. SACRED CAN YOU and SNAPCHAT made solid contact entering the first turn with both runners unbalanced losing ground. |
| Race 4 | All Sew Embroidery Sprint - C1 - 318 | BECOMING PAW (6) was unbalanced soon after leaving the boxes when HOMEBUSH TITAN (5) contacted this runners hindquarters. NO PARKING (7) and THRILLING FLORA (8) collided rounding the first turn with THRILLING FLORA losing ground. |
| Race 5 | Deli's Sports Bar Clendon Inn Stakes - C1 - 527 | MILLENIA (2), PERCENTAGE GIRL (6) and TRNDY LASS (7) were last to leave the boxes. MONTANA (5) began awkwardly then stumbled leaving the boxes. Entering the first turn MILLENIA shifted out making solid contact with PERCENTAGE GIRL who was taken out coming together with TRENDY LASS with these runners hampered losing ground as a result. Rounding the first turn THREE RIVERS (4) had to shift out off the heels of MISS VOTCHKA (8). TRENDY LASS and MISS VOTCHKA collided racing into the back straight. |
| Race 6 | Greyhound Function Centre Sprint - C1 - 318 | FRANKINCENSE (4) and MAKING YOU PAW (5) came together leaving the boxes. These runners then shifted out coming together with BANBIT (6), ATOONGA AIR (7) and DRURY (8) who had shifted in with these runners all becoming unbalanced. DRURY then continued to shift in further inconveniencing FRANKINCENSE. Racing toward the first turn FRANKINCENSE shifted out with ATOONGA AIR then having to shift in off this runners heels. Entering the first turn DRURY angled in with ANOTHER FANTASY (2) making contact with BEALE STREET (1) and MAKING YOU PAW shifting out off this runners heels with these runners all losing ground. Rounding the first bend BANBIT got on the heels of BEALE STREET with these runners unbalanced shifting out coming together with ANOTHER FANTASY, ATOONGA AIR and MAKING YOU PAW with these runners all hampered. |
| Race 7 | Lochinvar Marlow Sprint - C2/3 - 318 | NIKKA CENTURY (1) and ZIPPING TAY (2) were last to leave the boxes. Soon after leaving the boxes ALAMEIN BEE DEE (7) angled in tightening CONTEMPORANEOUS (6), WAR ON TERROR (5) and VERY CHILLY (4) with ZIPPING TAY (2) then shifting out contacting the hindquarters of VERY CHILLY. Racing down the back straight WAR ON TERROR made contact with the hindquarters of NIKKA CENTURY (1) for several strides with these runners unbalanced. As a result NIKKA CENTURY shifted out making contact with CONTEMPORANEOUS. ALAMEIN BEE DEE and ROTOVEGAS JUNIOR made contact rounding the bend. Soon after VERY CHILLY got on the heels of NIKKA CENTURY losing ground. Rounding the final bend ZIPPING TAY shifted in tightening ARIZONA SKY (3). |
| Race 8 | McGhie Plumbing Stakes - C3 - 527 | PROPHECY(4) and PINEAPPLE SPLIT (5) were last to leave the boxes. Soon after the start GOLD CLASS (8) shifted in tightening WHO DAT BOY (7) in onto MY BEAUTY (6). PINEAPPLE SPLIT then shifted in coming together with PROPHECY for several strides with these runners shifting in slightly coming together with JELLY GEM with PINEAPPLE SPLIT becoming unbalanced. PINEAPPLE SPLIT then appeared uncomfortable in its action losing contact with the field. A Post race veterinary examination revealed pain in the right hip support with a 42 day stand down imposed. |
| Race 9 | Plasterboard Ltd Stakes - C2 - 527 | WHAT THAT DOES (4) and THRILLING BRAVE (6) were last to leave the boxes. Soon after the start RAMAH REASON shifted in colliding with WHERE'S KEROMA (3). WHERE'S KEROMA then shifted in making contact with KITTY'S SHIRAZ (2) with these runners then shifting in and KITTY'S SHIRAZ then getting on the heels of JINJA JAM (1). Rounding the first turn WHAT THAT DOES and RAMAH REASON (5) came together with RAMAH REASON then having to steady losing ground when WHAT THAT DOES shifted in. |
| Race 10 | Sel's TAB Mangere Stakes - C4/5 - 527 | There was a two minute delay to the start of this event at the request of TAB control. CARAT'S PRINCE (7) and LUCKY MAN (8) collided leaving the boxes. KIKI RHODE (1) and GOOD RETURN (2) came together soon after the start Racing toward the first turn FORTIS FLIER (6) shifted in tightening GOOD RETURN (2) who was checked. GOOD RETURN and THRILLING GEORGA (3) came together rounding the first turn. |
| Race 11 | Carol's TABs Sprint - C5 - 318 | FIREMAN'S LEGACY (8) shifted in abruptly leaving the boxes hampering CALAMITY FREE (7), HASHTAG JOSH (6), HARVEY NICHOLS (5), MACJAM (4), ROTOVEGAS RARA (3) and inconveniencing DANATO (2) with these runners all unbalanced. CALAMITY FREE and HARVEY NICHOLS came together and jostled for a distance racing down the back straight. HARVEY NICHOLS then became awkwardly placed to the inside of MACJAM rounding the bend having to steady and shift out. |
| Race 12 | Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C2/3 - 318 | FOUND ROMAN (2) and UNCLE ROMILLY (3) were last to leave the boxes. MR. MUMBLES (8) shifted in leaving the boxes making contact with HANNIBAL LECTER (7) with these runners both unbalanced and HANNIBAL LECTER then shifting in making contact with PHILEAS FOGG (5). MISS VELOCETTE (4) and UNCLE ROMILLY collided soon after the start with UNCLE ROMILLY losing ground and MISS VELOCETTE then coming together with FOUND ROMAN (2) with these runners then jostling for a distance racing down the back straight and FOUND ROMAN losing ground as a result. MISS VELOCETTE and PHILEAS FOGG came together entering the first turn. Rounding the bend FOUND ROMAN became awkwardly placed inside the heels of PHILEAS FOGG having to steady with PHILEAS FOGG then having to steady when tightened losing ground. |
