ROTOVEGAS SPARKY and FORTIS LION (6) made contact racing into the first turn. WABI SABI (2) raced wide throughout. FORTIS LION and FANCY MY LUCK (8) collided entering the final straight. |
| Race 2 | Thomas Jewellers Tokoroa Stakes - C0 - 457 | BOTANY HOLLY (2) and THRILLING FOREST (5) were slow away. OUR HEISENBERG (6) shifted in leaving the boxes inconveniencing RUBY MURRAY (4) then coming together with KRACK IT (3). Soon after, when racing down the back straight, KIRKHAM JACK (7) shifted in colliding with OUR HEISENBERG. THRILLING FOREST and BOTANY HOLLY came together and jostled for a distance racing down the back straight with BOTANY HOLLY then losing ground. TENNESSEE SMILE (1) was hampered losing ground entering the first turn when OUR HEISENBERG shifted in unbalancing this runner. Also inconvenienced as a result was KIRKHAM JACK who shifted out slightly inconveniencing RUBY MURRAY. TENNESSEE SMILE then came together with CHATEAU NEUF before shifting out making contact with RUBY MURRAY. |
| Race 3 | Holsters Tokoroa Stakes - C1 - 457 | TIMMY TRUMPET (4) stood in the boxes missing the start and losing considerable ground. Following discussion with the Trainer and the Starter TIMMY TRUMPET will now be removed from the box first. JETSUN JIMMY (3) and COOL FOOT LUKE (6) came together entering the first turn with both runners unbalanced. Entering the first turn TIMMY TRUMPET made contact with CARTER CASH losing momentum,when looking to obtain clear racing room. TIMMY TRUMPET then shifted out contacting the hindquarters of COOL FOOT LUKE (6). |
| Race 4 | Duyvestyn Drainage Ltd Sprint - C4 - 375 | UNCLE ROMILY (6) was last to leave the boxes. ALAMEIN KAT (10) shifted in leaving the boxes inconveniencing NINJAGO (2). ALAMEIN KAT shifted in tightening DON DRAPER (1) entering the first turn. ALAMEIN KAT was tightened losing ground rounding the bend briefly inconveniencing DON DRAPER. UNCLE ROMILY and ALAMEIN KAT came together entering the final straight with ALAMEIN KAT unbalanced then losing ground. |
| Race 5 | Happy Birthday Max Mathews Distance - C1d - 650 | RADLEE REASON (8) was last to leave the boxes. WHO DAT BOY (1) had to check and shift out when tightened by AUCKLAND VENDING (2) entering the first turn with WHO DAT BOY losing ground. WHO DAT BOY raced wide rounding the final bend. |

Following discussion with Trainer S Payne and the Starter ROTOVEGAS RARA will be returned to boxing away first for its immediate future racing. JOSH HART (5) was last to leave the boxes. UNO LACHLAN (6) shifted in abruptly leaving the boxes inconveniencing ROTOVEGAS BOSS (4) and ROTOVEGAS RAT (3). ROTOVEGAS RAT shifted out entering the first turn inconveniencing ROTOVEGAS BOSS, JOSH HART and DON'T TALK (7) who lost ground. |
| Race 7 | Waikato Kidz Karts Sprint - C1 - 375 | TRENDY LASS (5) and HOMEBUSH TITAN (6) were hampered soon after the start when MISS VEYRON (7) shifted in and SUE SEWS SOCKS (4) shifted out with SUE SEWS SOCKS then continuing to shift out hampering MISS VEYRON. SUNDAY DRIVER (1) was unbalanced entering the first turn. SUE SEWS SOCKS and TRENDY LASS collided entering the first turn. SUNDAY DRIVER got on the heels of WILD FALCON (8) rounding the final bend. WILD FALCON and MISS VEYRON then came together with MISS VEYRON becoming unbalanced. Also inconvenienced as a result was TRENDY LASS who had to shift out off these runners heels. WILD FALCON then shifted in making contact with the hindquarters of SUNDAY DRIVER who was unbalanced. |
| Race 8 | Affordable Pet Accessories Stakes - C3 - 457 | DYNA VIKKERS (4) and ALAMEIN JET (5) came together leaving the boxes. DYNA VIKKERS then shifted in coming together with LAGOON TWIST (2) who was unbalanced. |
| Race 9 | South Waikato Cup - C5 - 457 | GRADER JACK (1) was slow away. ZAGZTO (5) and TEEGAMBO (6) came together leaving the boxes. THRILLING GEORGA (2) shifted in entering the first turn tightening GRADER JACK who was checked losing ground and shifting out hampering CAWBOURNE STEVE (9) and IZZEY BALE (7) who were both unbalanced losing ground. Also inconvenienced losing ground as a result was ZAGATO. |
| Race 10 | Waikato Appreciation Sprint - C2 - 375 | HEZA CARLOS (5), THRILLING BRAVE (6) and BOSTON LIGHTNING (8) were last to leave the boxes. Entering the first turn TOXIC REVENGE (2) and TEEGZ came together and were further crowded when ATOONGA AIR (4) shifted in with TEEGZ then getting on the heels of ATOONGA AIR for a stride losing ground. Rounding the first turn THRILLING BRAVE (6) made solid contact with the hindquarters of ATOONGA AIR with both runners becoming unbalanced and THRILLING BRAVE shifting wide on the track. EZ FERETTI (1) shifted out off the heels of ROCKIN' ROD (10) entering the first turn. Rounding the bend, when in the lead, ROCKIN' ROD faltered going back through the field quickly. Inconvenienced as a result were TOXIC REVENGE, BOSTON LIGHTNING, ATOONGA AIR and THRILLING BRAVE and badly hampered was TEEGZ who was unable to avoid this runner making solid contact. Rounding the final bend BOSTON LIGHTNING shifted in making solid contact with HEZA CARLOS (5) who was unbalanced. ROCKIN' ROD was referred to the veterinarian. |
| Race 11 | Committee Stakes - C2 - 457 | Entering the first turn BLACK DUDE (3) made contact with the hindquarters of ZIPPING WILL (4) then getting on this runners heels with both runners becoming badly unbalanced losing ground. Also inconvenienced as a result were LEGAL AID (5) and ELEPHANT TRUNK (2). |

Entering the first turn ROCKETSHIP MAC (8) angled in tightening THREE RIVERS (7) in onto JADE HAWK (2) who was hampered with JADE HAWK and THREE RIVERS losing ground. As a result TANTO'S WHISPER (4) became awkwardly placed on the heels of these runners having to steady. Rounding the final bend TANTO'S WHISPER and BOSS WAVE were inconvenienced getting on the heels of JADE HAWK who was unbalanced. |
