Track: Good The track was well presented and the meeting proceeded smoothly.
Scales: Checked and correct
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: MURTAUGH which was a scratching from the meeting on 18.03.15 but was not presented on that occasion, was presented at this meeting at the request of the Stewards and was examined by the Vet and found to be suffering from an old toe injury which would prevent the Greyhound from racing. Further inquiries into the circustances of the scratching are to be carried out.
PEACOCK PRINCESS was found to have breached Rule 79.1 for failing to pursue the lure throughout in race 6 and as this was the 2nd offence under the rule, she was stood down for 3 months to and including 20.06.2015 and is required to complete a satisfactory trial under Rule 80.1 before next racing.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C1 - C1 - 305	BANBIT and HOMEBUSH DAWN jostled together soon after the start and BANBIT was eventually checked back to the rear losing three lengths. CAWBOURNE CRAZY, WELLYWOOD and LAGOON FAME jostled together for some distance going to the first corner and were unbalanced briefly. WELLYWOOD and LAGOON FAME then raced wide over extra ground on the bend. JOHNNY ANGEL checked off the back of VINNY DOON on the bend and lost two lengths.
Race 2	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C1/2 - C1/2 - 305	WEE DIGER, LYNNY SOUTHCOMBE, ACAPELLA and REBEL AWAY bumped together and became briefly unbalanced in the back straight. WEE DIGER checked over the heels of REBEL AWAY going into the bend and then ran very wide over extra ground and finished in last place. REBEL AWAY was observed to ease for a short distance approaching the home turn and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a tricep injury. The connections of REBEL AWAY were shown film of the race and advised that REBEL AWAY'S racing manners in the near future will be closely monitored.
Race 3	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1/2 - C1/2 - 305	ZAMADDIS LASS shifted out going to the first corner and bumped with EMBEE DEE and they were both unbalanced briefly. OPAWA JAY shifted out going into the bend and checked over the heels of MISS MCFLY. He the checked over the heels of CHOCDEE ALICE and severely checked ZAMADDIS LASS and EMBEE DEE which both lost several lengths and all chance.
Race 4	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD C1/2 - C1/2 - 305	FIVE KAY LEG began awkwardly and settled back. NINA BE GOOD shifted in going into the bend and checked LOLA BAXTER which lost two lengths. CULVIE BOY began to lose ground going into the bend and drifted back through the field to finish in last place. CULVIE BOY was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a gracilus muscle injury.
Race 5	THE ROCK 95.2FM C3 - C3 - 305	CRYSTAL WAVE, ZIPPING TAY, BOTANY ZENVO, HANIFY ACE and HOMEBUSH OLIVE all came together soon after the start and lost momentum with BOTANY ZENVO and HANIFY ACE the most affected and they went back to the rear. HOMEBUSH OLIVE shifted in going into the bend and crowded FLYING BLAKE and CRYSTAL WAVE which both lost ground. BOTANY ZENVO and HANIFY ACE which were following, were severely hampered losing several lengths and all chance.
Race 6	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C2 FINAL - C2f - 520	Tightening soon after the start resulted in SPEEDY FEET being checked losing several lengths and she stayed back for the remainder of the race. PEACOCK PRINCESS was observed to turn her head entering the home straight and shifted out to make contact with LAGOON MAC. PEACOCK PRINCESS was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury and as this was the 2nd ocassion that she had breached Rule 79.1, she was stood down for 3 months and until the completion of a satisfactory trial under Rule 80.1.
Race 7	J P PRINT C3/4 - C3/4 - 305	NGAURUHOE shifted in from a wide draw soon after the start and caused checks to BIT COIN, WHEELIE GOOD and ARMED FORCES with WHEELIE GOOD the most affected and he went back to the rear. WHEELIE GOOD then shifted out to race very wide on the bend covering extra ground and finished in last place. HOMEBUSH CHURRO shifted in going into the bend and checked SERENA ROSE which lost four lengths and all chance.
Race 8	HARRISON HIRE MASTER C3/4 - C3/4 - 305	ANOTHER JEWEL dwelt at the start and lost two lengths. WHEELIE RASCAL shifted out going into the bend and caused severe checks to itself and also DEATHSTAR and ANOTHER JEWEL and they lost several lengths and finished in the last three places.
Race 9	THE DOGZONE C2/3 - C2/3 - 520	The favourite EXTREME TWIST was the slowest to begin from box 8 and settled back. He was then checked entering the final bend and lost three lengths and was never able to make up the lost ground. Another of the better supported runners ALLEGRO TOUCH raced in a forward position but was not able to finish the race off and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 10	WANGANUI SECURITY C3/4 - C3/4 - 305	ENAZUMA shifted out going to the first turn and bumped with GRAND ALLEGRO and they both became unbalanced losing ground with GRAND ALLEGRO suffering the most and he stayed back for the remainder of the race and finished in last place. WINFIELD WINTER shifted in when going to the lead on the first corner and checked EXPLODABLE which went back onto JINJA COLL and they lost several lengths and all chance and finished near the rear.
Race 11	WWW.RACINGTIPS.CO.NZ C5 - C5 - 305	WINNING IS EASY was handy in 2nd place on the bend but was bumped from the inside by SUPER ROOSTER, became unbalanced and drifted back through the field. She was then bumped by BOLT ALLEGRO as that runner improved and WINNING IS EASY continued to lose ground and finished in last place. CALL ME RALPH ran very wide on the bend over extra ground.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK 06 345 6794 C5 - C5 - 305	ALMOST GOT IT, WINFIELD AUTUMN and CIDER DRINKA came together at the start and WINFIELD AUTUMN which was drawn in between was checked and lost ground. ALLEGRO MASTER and OPAWA SHAIDEN bumped together on the bend and drifted back to the rear where they stayed till the finish.
