| Race 1 | Shakey Jakey At Rocky Ridge C0 - C0 - 375 | BUNDORAN LAD was slow to begin losing four lengths but made up ground well to finish in 3rd place. GOODTIME MONI shifted in going into the bend and crowded KEY EYE which was checked and went back hampering GOODTIME LADY which was forced to race very wide on the bend over considerable extra ground. KEY EYE continued to lose ground after the initial check and went back onto HOMEBUSH ROCCO which lost four lengths and he never recovered and finished last. |
| Race 2 | Turakina Pets C1 - C1 - 375 | THOU ROMEO shifted in from the start and crowded AMY WINEGLASS which was hampered and went back to the rear. HOMEBUSH LUCIFER and THOU ROMEO raced closely together going to the first corner and eventually HOMEBUSH LUCIFER went ahead and crowded THOU ROMEO which lost two lengths. NAVAJO BLUE raced wide on the bend and into the straight and forced VINNY DOON and AMY WINEGLASS very wide over extra ground and they finished in the last three places. AMY WINEGLASS was observed to be slightly lame following the race, was referred to the vet for assessment and found to have abrasions and bruising to a stopper pad. |
| Race 3 | Grant Irvine Pharmacy C1 - C1 - 457 | HOMEBUSH SPOOK began very awkwardly losing six lengths and he tailed the field throughout and finished in last place. CAWBOURNE GRACIE was checked going into the bend when tightened between RITZA ROSE on the inside and BEDLAM BRIDGE which was going to the lead on the outside. As a consequence, CAWBOURNE GRACIE went back onto THRILLING TOBY and they both lost several lengths and stayed back to finish with the tailenders. |
| Race 4 | Personal Protective Services Ltd C1 - C1 - 375 | SILVER TOKAAM and BOSTON LIGHTNING were slow to begin losing two lengths. BOSTON LIGHTNING recovered well to make up ground and win the race but SILVER TOKAAM stayed back, was pushed very wide on the bend and into the straight by MEGA JET which shifted out and they finished at the rear. |
| Race 5 | Creative Catering, Awapuni C1 - C1 - 375 | PUKEWHAI MAGIC was slow to begin and settled back. BOSTON SPIRIT faltered and went back onto PUKEWHAI MAGIC hampering that runner going into the bend. BOSTON SPIRIT continued to lose ground and finished finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a tricep injury. |
| Race 6 | Number 1 Promotions C2 - C2 - 375 | CAWBOURNE JOSH and FIVE KAY LEG were slow to begin and settled back where they stayed throughout the race. |
| Race 7 | Warehouse Stationery C3 - C3 - 457 | OPAWA MESSINI began very awkwardly losing ground and settled back. TRIDENT shifted in going into the bend and crowded and jostled COSMIC SCRAMBLE for a short distance and COSMIC SCRAMBLE lost ground and then briefly jostled with OPAWA MESSINI losing further ground. TRIDENT and ARCANE SABRE jostled together for a short distance going into the bend and ARCANE SABRE lost two lengths in the incident. |
| Race 8 | J P Print, Petone C3 - C3 - 375 | WHEELIE CHILLIE shifted in going into the bend and caused checks to RUNS FOR GAS and ALLEGRO TOUCH which both lost ground and they went back to the rear and stayed there for the remainder of the race. |
| Race 9 | Outback Trading Company Ltd C5 - C5 - 375 | ALLEGRO MASTER and FREEDOM FLYER raced in restricted room between runners going to the first corner and they were eventually checked back to the rear and never recovered the lost ground. |
| Race 10 | Affordable Pet Accessories C4 - C4 - 457 | The favourite WINSOME JENNY bumped with LOCHINVAR ROSSI going to the first corner and a short distance further on bumped with HOMEBUSH GINGER with WINSOME JENNY becoming briefly unbalanced and the other two runners losing three lengths in the incidents. A short distance further on and into the bend, AIR RAID shifted out and checked WINSOME JENNY which went back and was again checked from behind when HOMEBUSH GINGER raced up onto her hind quarters. WINSOME JENNY never recovered from the interferance and finished in 2nd last place. |
| Race 11 | Greyhounds As Pets C4 - C4 - 375 | WHEELIE GOOD was one of the slowest to begin from box 8 and raced wide covering extra ground but kept up a strong run out wide to win the race. ENHANCER began a little awkwardly losing ground and settled back three lengths last. He then raced wide on the bend and into the straight covering extra ground and also ran on well to finish in 5th place. |
| Race 12 | Brooks Timing C4/5 - C4/5 - 457 | MAMMY BROWN shifted in soon after the start and caused crowding to FABIO and GRADUATION for a short distance. GRADUATION and FABIO bumped together going into the bend and they were briefly unbalanced and lost ground and never recovered. |
