Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: When parading at the boxes for race 4 several trainers expressed concerns regarding the state of the track in particular at the point of the home turn where water had pooled and had made the racing surface inconsistent. After consulting with the track curator,senior trainers and the club secretary it was agreed the track wasn't safe to race on in its current state. As a result all start times were put back 2 races in an attempt to allow the track to dry out and have conditioning done to it with a further inspection to be conducted prior to the rescheduled start time. Upon this inspection all parties agreed the track to have improved to a state where the track was safe for racing and the meeting proceeded as normal.

Race 1	Super Pets Dash - C0 - 295	Shortly after the start BELLA GRACE (6) came inwards and severely impeded the running line of CAWBOURNE LEGS (5) causing this dog to check and both lose momentum. Just after this incident SKILLZ TAYLOR (10) was turn outwards after jostling with CAWBOURNE LEGS.
Race 2	Happy Birthday Ann Jopson Sprint - C0 - 295	Both OUR JOHN 96) and ANOTHER PENNY (7) were extremely slow to jump. Shortly after he jump CAWBOURNE SHADOW (3) came inwards and bumped EL MOVIN (1). CAWBOURNE SHADOW lost ground when clipping the heels of BUTTERFLY TERRA (5) when negotiating the bend this in turn forced WHAT A PARTY (8) to race wider on the track and also obliged EL MOVIN to check off the heels of CAWBOURNE SHADOW. OOUR JOHN (6) also had to jump off the heels of CAWBOURNE SHADOW rounding the bend.
Race 3	Christchurch Casino Dash - C0 - 295	MIDNIGHT SPIRIT (3) was slow to jump. EDELWEISS (4) was bumped inwards shortly after the start when racing to the inside of STENSON (5) . EDELWEISS was then further inconvenienced by STENSON when racing into the bend. Racing out of the bend FAIR CRUZIN came outwards into the running line of STENSON forcing this dog to bump with LUCAS SCOTT (8).
Race 4	Carol's T.A.B. Stakes - C0 - 520	All dogs engaged in this event were subjected to a pre-race veterinarian check after they had to be returned to the kennel block while a track inspection was conducted. TEPIRITA MEGA (2) began awkwardly. OPAWA SHACKLEY (6) came inwards at the start onto OM NOM NOM (4). Racing into the bend OPAWA TOP (1) moved outwards into the running line of OM NOM NOM which then had its heels climbed on by OPAWA SHACKLEY this in turn caused checks to KIRKHAM HARVEY (8) and KIRKHAM JACK (9). KIRKHAM JACK then had to jump off the heels of TOKEN ACE (3) rounding the final bend.
Race 5	Shirley Vet Clinic Sprint - C1 - 295	TOKEN RAY (5) was slow to jump. Racing into the bend VERBATIM (3) came down the track placing HOMEBUSH SLINKY (2) and PHAT PANTS (10 in restricted room.
Race 6	Greyhounds As Pets Stakes - C1 - 520	GOLDSTAR MAGIC (7) and GOOD GIRL NINA (8) were both slow to jump. ARCHIE's COMET (1) was awkwardly placed on the heels of COURT THE BELLE (6) prior to the first bend. This resulting in GOLDSTAR MAGIC being inconvenienced. KINLOCH SILVER (4) and PROTONIC PEDRO (2) came together rounding the first bend.
Race 7	Garrard's Horse & Hound Dash - C1 - 295	ZULU DEB (3) lost ground when akwardly placed to the inside of TOKEN JUMP (4) entering the bend.
Race 8	Opawa Bowl & Jack Tavern Sprint - C2 - 295	GLENN IS GOODESY (6) was slow to jump. CAWBOURNE BEAU (2) was awkwardly placed on the heels of BIGTIME TIP (3) when racing towards the bend. BIGTIME TIP then lost ground when squeezed for room to the inside of BROOKE DAVIS (7) shortly after.
Race 9	Clarkson Sign Studio Stakes - C1 - 520	BENJAMIN JACK (3) was slow to jump. Prior to the first bend ARCHI BALE (5) came downwards into the running line of HOLIVIA LASS (2) causing this bitch to check. HOLIVIA LASS was then squeezed between BENJAMIN JACK and HYPERPARADISE (7) resulting in HYPERPARADISE being turned outwards.
Race 10	DogZone Stakes - C2 - 520	OPAWA DIESEL (7) was slow to jump. This dog was then awkwardly placed to the back of CAWBOURNE MIAMI (3) and BRUISER BALE (4) when entering the first bend.
Race 11	Yaldhurst Hotel Sprint - C1 - 295	Racing around the bend CAWBOURNE PEEJAY (10) was obliged to check off the heels of LIL DANNY RASCAL (2) before being awkwardly placed to the inside of KNOW CHEERS (7)
Race 12	Protexin Dash - C2 - 295	OHOKA FAITH (4) was slow to jump. WHEELCHAIR NOERM (6) was placed close to the heels of ROYAL APACHE (5) entering the bend.
Race 13	Non Tote - Tier 2 - 295	HOMEBUSH HANDSOME (4) lost ground when placed in restricted room HOMEBUSH STEW (5) and RANGITATA RAIDER (1) shortly after the start. RANGITATA RAIDER was then squeezed to the rail when racing to the inside of HOMEBUSH STEW entering the bend. HOMEBUSH HANDSOME lost momentum when racing between OHOKA STRIKA (9) and RANGITATA RAIDER rounding the turn.
Race 14	Non Tote - Tier 2 - 295	WANDY DESTINY (8) came down the track prior to the bend forcing HAYLEY JAMES (5) down onto HOMEBUSH RILET (1) with HAYLEY JAMES losing momentum. FANTA'S FEVER (3) and HAYLEY JAMES came together on several occasion rounding the bend.
Race 15	Non Tote - Tier 2 - 295	MR. NOVEMBER (5) was slow to jump. HOMEBUSH FLYTE (3) lost ground prior to the bend when awkwardly placed to the back of MEMPHIS GIRL (4) which also lost ground. GO TIMMEE (1) lost momentum when placed in restricted room to the inside of HOMEBUSH NARK (2) entering the bend. HOMEBUSH NARK was awkwardly placed on the heels of HAT TRICK CHAOS (8) rounding the bend.
