Judicial report: (1) JESSIE SURFS (A.C.Roberts), a starter in race 11, when being kennelled after race 5 escaped from the kennel block. Stewards investigated and found no fault by the handler as the greyhound had broken through the scales and pushed straight out the kennel area door. The greyhound was subject to a veterinary check and cleared prior to the start of Race 11. (2) Trainer A.C.Roberts was fined $50 under the Minor Infringement Table when admitting a charge under Rule 71.4 of failing to provide catchers for all three runners in Race 10.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C3 - 295	At the jump MARY MARLOW shifted ground outwards from the No. 2 box and dictated NEDDY SEAGOON into LITTLE MIDNIGHT who was checked. Into the turn ANOTHER GROOM clipped the rear of QUESTION BALE who crossed from the outside box and faltered losing ground quickly to finish at the rear. In the home straight NEDDY SEAGOON ran wide. After the race ANOTHER GROOM was subject to a veterinary check which revealed a right fore triceps tear and hip pain with a 28 days stand down recommended.
Race 2	Happy Birthday Dave Robbie Dash - C4 - 295	Both ABOUT TOWN and INCREASING jumped awkwardly and lost momentum. OHOKA COBY was slow to jump. RUN FOR SOPHIE ran wide down the home straight.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Dash - C3 - 295	BLAZING HOT was slow to jump and ran wide throughout. WEE TERRA was also slow to jump. From the jump RATTLE YA DAGS ran sharply inwards from the No. 7 box and HOMEBUSH BRUNO shifted outwards from the No. 3 box with resulting tightening of WEE TERRA, LAUDABLE and VAN GERWIN.
Race 4	Sky High Scaffolding Stakes - C3 - 520	HOMEBUSH HOWARD bounded when leaving the starting boxes and lost several lengths. Into the first bend LAGOON TWIST was checked when CAWBOURNE BRIGHT shifted downwards, with the trailing LENA ALLEN and RUNAWAY TAXI also checked. Into the back straight RUNAWAY TAXI ran wide and then was checked into the final bend when crossed by HOMEBUSH HOWARD. After the race LENA ALLEN was subject to a veterinary check which revealed a torn 3rd right hind toe ligament with a 28 days stand down recommended.
Race 5	N.Z. Racing Series Sprint Heat 1 - NZRSq - 295 Heat 1	Into the turn HOMEBUSH KELSO ran inwards checking TEE TIME.
Race 6	N.Z. Racing Series Sprint Heat 2 - NZRSq - 295 Heat 2	Into the turn RICK'S TERRA clipped the heels of OPULENT who lost ground, and TIME SLAYER checked outwards off the heels of BO'S BUSINESS. After the race OPULENT was subject to a veterinary check which revealed pain in the right carpus with a 10 day stand down recommended.
Race 7	N.Z. Racing Series Sprint Heat 3 - NZRSq - 295 Heat 3	From the jump SMASH RUMOUR shifted ground inwards bumping SOPHIE'S TERRA who lost momentum. SLEEPER AGENT was slow to jump. Into the turn SLEEPER AGENT shifted ground outwards off the rear of NO LEAF CLOVER and pushed SMASH RUMOUR wide on the track. On the turn HOMEBUSH PAIGE shifted outwards checking NO LEAF CLOVER.
Race 8	N.Z. Racing Series Sprint Heat 4 - NZRSq - 295 Heat 4	SMASH THAT and OPAWA COLIN were slow to jump. Into the turn HOMEBUSH ARIEL stumbled and lost all chance when checked by the crossing QUEDRAGO. After the race HOMEBUSH ARIEL was subject to a veterinary check which revealed no injury.
Race 9	N.Z. Racing Series Sprint Heat 5 - NZRSq - 295 Heat 5	From the jump INSPECTOR SPOT ran inwards from the No. 8 box tightening BOTANY WIN and PLAGIARISM on his inner. In the run o the turn CLONE YOUR OWN shifted ground outwards checking SPRINKLES with the trailing ZORBA THE GREEK also inconvenienced. In to the turn CLONE YOUR OWN continued to push outwards checking BOTANY WIN.
Race 10	Hampden Tavern Stakes - C4 - 520	In the run to the first turn WEARS THE GOLD shifted outwards and HIS LORDSHIP ran inwards with WEARS THE GOLD tightened between those runners. On the first turn OPAWA ZARA checked off the rear of KAREN'S MAGIC and lost ground.
Race 11	C.T.V. Sprint - C5 - 520	JESSIE SURFS, ELEPHANT GUNN and IZZEY BALE were slow to jump. In the run to the first turn IZZEY BALE ran inwards and made heavy contact with ELEPHANT GUNN who was dictated into the path of JESSIE SURFS who brushed the running rail and lost ground.
Race 12	Livamol Sprint - C5 - 295	From the jump SOZIN'S COMET ran inwards checking IRISH BLUE. In the run to the turn GRAND APACHE ran inwards tightening COLLECTING MONEY with the trailing CAWBOURNE BUTTSY checked.
