Race 1	www.southlandgreyhound.co.nz - C0 - 390	From the jump SMASH WHO ran inwards dictating PREMIER PRINCE on his inner into the path of MOBILIZE who was severely checked with the trailing MIDNIGHT SPRITE inconvenienced. Into the turn STENSON ran inwards tightening SMASH WHO. On the turn PREMIER PRINCE shifted outwards and clipped the rear of STENSON who became unbalanced and lost momentum.
Race 2	ASCOT PARK HOTEL - C1 - 390	From the jump JOHN DORY ran outwards checking CAWBOURNE CRUZE. In the run to the turn JOHN DORY shifted down tightening EYREWELL HAWKE and TOKEN JUMP, while into the turn CAWBOURNE ARNEY was checked between EYREWELL HAWKE and CAWBOURNE CRUZE. At the top of the turn JOHN DORY faltered and the trailing EYREWELL HAWKE was forced to hurdle that runner and went very wide on the track losing all chance. JOHN DORY finished the race a distant last and was subject to a veterinary check post race.
Race 3	SGRC $50 LEATHER LEADS - C1 - 390	MOJO BURST was slow to jump. ROCKWOOD ARCHIE ran abruptly outwards from the No. 2 box checking NEW THANG. On the turn ROCKWOOD ARCHIE checked off the heels of MILLIE'S BOY and lost momentum, and WRINKLES was held up when GOSSIP QUEEN shifted outwards.
Race 4	BRENDON BURKE @ RAY WHITE - C2 - 390	Stir ups were not available for this race with the 15 minute gap between harness and greyhound races reduced following a late scratching in the warm up and a false start at the Invercargill Harness Racing Club race immediately prior. In the race GLENN IS GOODESY jumped awkwardly and lost ground, with GO TOMMO also slow to jump. In the run to the turn JACK'S A JEWEL ran out wide and lost momentum when forced to check off the rear of MATTY HOOKY.
Race 5	GREYHOUNDSASPETS.ORG.NZ - C2 - 390	TONY'S CHOICE jumped awkwardly and lost ground while BOUND TO ERUPT was slow to jump.
Race 6	ADDED ENERGY STAKES - C0 - 457	JAMAICAN ARCHIE and LA KINKS were slow to jump. Into the turn as the field tightened JINJA FANTASY shifted outwards tightening OM NOM NOM and checking the trailing TOKEN ACE. OM NOM NOM became unbalanced and was dictated outwards into CAWBOURNE KENNY with both dogs taken wide on the track.
Race 7	SGRC $26 FIVE WIRE MUZZLE STAKES - C1 - 457	FRESCO STAR bounded at the start and lost momentum. In the run to the turn WAIRIO DEE JAY ran out wide and forced ARCHIE'S COMET wider on the track.
Race 8	SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C3 - 457	HOMEBUSH HOWARD was slow to jump. In the run to the turn UNRELIABLE ANDY shifted ground downwards tightening BOTANY RICHIE on his inner. The trailing RUNAWAY TAXI was also held up as a consequence.
Race 9	HAPPY GOLDEN WEDDING JEAN & IAN CONNER - C2 - 457	OPAWA DIESEL jumped awkwardly and lost ground. Into the turn BRUISER BALE crossed and checked JINJA LOCH with FANCY KIWI also held up.
Race 10	Racing Series Advanced Heats - NZRSq - 457 Heat 1	At the jump ROBBIE ran outwards checking OPAWA TOM and BOTANY KEVIN, while WHAT I LIKE shifted ground downwards and lost momentum when bumping BOTANY KEVIN. On the turn ROBBIE ran outwards tightening SANDI CLAWS on his outer and checking the trailing OPAWA TOM who ran very wide on the turn and lost all chance.
Race 11	Racing Series Advanced Heats - NZRSq - 457 Heat 2	ANOTHER COLT was slow to jump. At the jump THRILLING MARTY was tightened between JINJARANGO and HOMEBUSH KELSO. Shortly afterwards OPAWA ROSIE shifted ground inwards checking HOMEBUSH KELSO. On the turn HOMEBUSH KELSO was held up when OPAWA ROSIE ran inwards.
Race 12	justracing.com.au - C3 - 390	In the home straight LOTS OF BEERSIES lost ground when clipped from behind by HOMEBUSH BRUNO. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury.
