| Race 1 | Sel's TAB Mangere Sprint Series Heat 1 - C2q - 318 Heat 1 | In the run in to the first bend FANCY ROVER angled in sharply between runners bumping in to ENGLISH HONEY and ROTOVEGAS SPARKY, behind HOT KING CLOE pushed in on to CONTEMPERANEOUS with this runner bumping FEEL THE VIBE in to the heels of FANCY ROVER ,FEEL THE VIBE fell checking CONTEMPERANEOUS and HOT KING COLE they ran wide on to the bend losing all chance there after. FEEL THE VIBE recovered to his feet to finish on to the lure and was referred to the vet for assessment. FANCY ROVER finished a long way back at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where he was found to have injured his right hock |
| Race 2 | Lochinvar Marlow Sprint - C0 - 318 | HINUERA GIRL went up with the lids. IRISH TUNES stood when the lids went up missing the start by several lengths. YOU BETCHA GUFF ran in bumping HINUERA GIRL ,BOTANY FLAME from box 2 ran outwards sharply between runners checking YOU BETCHA GUFF. Racing in to the first bend IRISH TUNES angled in on to the shoulder of HINUERA GIRL hampering this runner for several strides , both dogs lost momentum and ground back to the rear bumping together again finishing well back at the line. |
| Race 3 | Sel's TAB Mangere Sprint Series Heat 2 - C2q - 318 Heat 2 | YEBOAH ( fav ) dwelt at the start being last away in the early rush for positions ,soon after YEBOAH improved between runners bumping in to OPAWA PEARL and WINSOME GEORGE, these three runners bumped and jostled for some distance as the field made their way in to the bend ,OPAWA PEARL and WINSOME GEORGE were checked back losing a fair bit of ground as YEBOAH cleared these runners. CAWBOURNE KIWI raced widest in to and around the top bend . YEBOAH was presented to the vet later in the programme at the Handlers request where he was found to have pain in the left fore sesamoid area |
| Race 4 | MTA Gift Vouchers Sprint - C0 - 318 | WASTING LIGHT and BANGKOK HONEY ( fav ) were both slowest away . In the run to the first bend BOTANY HOLLY angled across on to BOTANY HOT SPOT,BOTANY HOLLY went sideways for a couple of strides, in behind there was tightening and jostling as BANGKOK HONEY crossed inwards across the face of WASTING LIGHT in on to BOTANY HOTSHOT ,BANGKOK HONEY was checked going out on to the heels of JETSUN ROYAL ,BANGKOK HONEY lost several lengths back past midfield finishing in 6th placing at the line. |
| Race 5 | AGRC Rewards Sprint - C3 - 318 | In the run to the first bend FANCY MY LUCK angled across on to ROCKIN' ROD cutting NIKKA CENTURY back ,FANCY MY LUCK ran on in to the shoulder of VON TRAPP hampering this runner for some distance ,as the field raced in to the first bend AQUA WOLF raced across angling in on to FANCY MY LUCK and VON TRAPP resulting in VON TRAPP and FANCY MY LUCK checking out wide with NIKKA CENTURY and WAR ON TERROR these dogs were forced to cover a lot of extra ground. NIKKA CENTURY made good ground to finish in to 4th placing at the line. |
| Race 6 | $10,000 Guaranteed Triple Trio Stakes - C1 - 527 | In the run around the bend on the first occasion ZIPPING WILL ( fav ) sped towards the lead wider on the track was tripped and fell as DYLAN'S A VILLIAN came out on to the front point of the shoulder of ZIPPING WILL,RADLEE REASON in behind was able to sidestep the fallen runner. ZIPPING WILL recovered to his feet to finish on to the lure some distance behind the rest of the field and was referred to the vet for assessment |
| Race 7 | DogZone Sprint - C1 - 318 | From the boxes COOL FOOT LUKE raced across as HOMEBUSH RADAR came out resulting in severe tightening to MAKING YOU PAW, and PROCRASTINATION for some strides, soon after PROCRASTINATION caught the hind of COOL FOOT LUKE , PROCRASTINATION moved inwards tightening HOMEBUSGH RADAR in on to MIC PLAYER bumping and turning this dog sideways with him losing momentum going back out wide pushing PROCRASTINATION very wide across the top bend. After being hampered in the early stages MAKING YOU PAW run on well for 2nd placing at the line . MIC PLAYER finished several lengths in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet as a precaution where no abnormalities were found. |
| Race 8 | Carol's TABS Sprint Series Heat 1 - C1q - 318 Heat 1 | Soon after the start FALSE ACCUSATION angled across on to SPEED LORDE ,FALSE ACCUSATION went sideways for a stride or so losing momentum and ground back to the rear. racing in to the first bend SPEED LORDE angled inwards on to SHE SAID MAYBE and THRILLING ABRA on the inner ,these runners went back on to COOL TIME ,SHE SAID MAYBE ran out wide at this point . FALSE ACCUSATION after the earlier trouble attempted to make ground around the outer across the top bend and in to the home straight finishing close up for 5th placing at the line. |
| Race 9 | Carol's TABS Sprint Series Heat 2 - C1q - 318 Heat 2 | From the jump ATTONGA AIR raced across the face of JUNIOR WHAT on to ROSA GALLICA ,JUNIOR WHAT ran across bumping in to MELMAN hampering this runner for a stride or so. LORD DE AIR after getting away well on the inner in the early stages received a slight bump soon after he went off stride dropping back to be a clear last in the running racing very wide around the bend and in to the home straight finishing a margin in the rear at the line. LORD DE AIR was referred to the vet for assessment where he was found to have longhead tricep muscle pain. racing on to the bend DRURY ran on to the heels of ATOONGA AIR , DRURY went back several lengths at this point |
| Race 10 | Plasterboard Ltd Stakes - C3 - 527 | TEPERITA ENFORCE missed the jump by a couple of lengths. Racing in to the bend on the first occasion TEPERITA ENFORCE raced past and angled in across RUSHIN DOLL who came together with BLOO BLOOMERS ,RUSHIN DOLL was forced to check back over heels losing ground racing out wide in to and along the back straight covering a fair amount of extra ground to be a clear last in the running only making some ground in latter stages to almost finish on terms with TEPERITA ENFORCE at the line. RUSHIN DOLL was referred to the vet for assessment where she was found to have right side deltoid muscle pain. |
| Race 11 | Deli's Sports Bar Clendon Inn Sprint - C5 - 318 | In the run to the first bend MACJAM angled across towards the inner bumping in to GOOD RETURN this runner went back a length or so , DANATO angled inwards hampering MACJAM for several strides, as the field turned in to the bend GOOD RETURN became awkwardly balanced making contact with the rail going back to the rear and was unable to improve there after. GOOD RETURN was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found. |
| Race 12 | Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C1 - 318 | PRANCING BEE went up with the lids. In the run to the first bend MADAM RAZOR and JETSUN STORM jostled for a couple of strides. NO MORE LAUGHTER was away well in the early stages racing handy on to the top bend ,he drifted out towards the home turn only battling in the run home to finish in 6th placing at the line. NO MORE LAUGHTER was referred to the vet at the Trainers request where he was found to have a split webbing and dislocated toes to the left hind. |
