Track: Good The Track was presented in a very good racing condition. All other equipment operated well through out.
Scales: Correct at all weights.
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: The Ahern kennels were issued with a warning for non presentation of papers, the kennels reps explanation was accepted by the Stewards on this occasion being the first time this has happened.
FLIRT WITH ME ( T McCracken ) race 2 has been stood down per rule 79.1b ( failing to pursue ) 1st offence.
ODE TO LIBERTY ( R Waite ) race 6 has been stood down per rule 80.1 to complete a satisfactory trial/s.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C1 - C1 - 305	ALLEGRO TYCOON went up with the lids being last away by several lengths ,he rushed up quickly in to the first bend then was unable to improve thereafter finishing towards the rear at the line . TAKE A TRICK jumped away well ,soon after went off stride galloping uncomfortably finishing a long last at the line. TAKE A TRICK was referred to the vet for assessment where he was found to have gracilus muscle injury
Race 2	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C1 - C1 - 305	HOMEBUSH DAWN began awkwardly from box 5, CHURCHILL CHASER from box 3 was last away and never comfortable in her galloping action there after finishing several lengths in the rear at the line. Racing on the inner across the top bend HOMEBUSH NAKI ran on to the heels of COSMIC RASCAL being checked back then caught the heels of SOME GENES losing more ground back past midfield. Racing in to the first bend FLIRT WITH ME eased for a couple of strides losing 4 or so lengths as SOME GENES angled in between runners, FLIRT WITH ME when in the clear made ground around the outer and down the home straight to finish in to 5th placing at the line. CHURCHILL CHASER was referred to the vet for assessment where she was found to have a deep spike wound over point of left elbow FLIRT WITH ME was referred to the vet for assessment where she was found to have swelling over the front of the right & left hind calf muscles a 7 day stand down was recommended by the vet . T McCracken Trainer of FLIRT WITH ME was shown a replay of the race ,with the Stewards pointing out the area of concern where FLIRT WITH ME eased racing in to the first bend . T McCracken agreed that the dog had eased for some strides losing ground then made ground soon after finishing on strongly to the lure. FLIRT WITH ME has been stood down ( failing to pursue ) 28 days and to the completion of a satisfactory trial/s.
Race 3	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C2 - C2 - 305	YA LAUGHIN' missed the jump being last away by several lengths, racing in to the first bend YA LAUGHIN' made ground along the inner in to the body of the field finishing in 5th placing at the line . Nearing the home turn ROCK ON SPRITE caught the back of FLYING BLAKE with both runners hampered for a stride or two.
Race 4	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	MISS SELFIES stumbled slightly getting away from the start. ARCANE RAMPAGE coming off the mat angled in on to THOU ROMEO and COLD TURKEY. Racing in to the bend on the first occasion THOU ROMEO ran in on to the shoulder of COLD TURKEY, these two runners bumped and jostled for some distance ending up a long way back racing along the back straight and finished well back at the line
Race 5	THE ROCK 95.2FM C2 - C2 - 305	A stride or so out of the boxes LYNNY SOUTHCOMBE stumbled a few strides on LYNNY SOUTHCOMBE and GOODTIME KATE came together bumping ,GOODTIME TIME ran out to the centre of the track ,she went off stride as the field raced on to the bend dropping out to be long way back at the line . GOODTIME KATE was referred to the vet for assessment where she was found to have a dislocation /sprained sesamoid joint left hind
Race 6	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C2/3 - C2/3 - 305	On getting away from the start MANU RAMA came out bumping MISS FOXY MINX on to ODE TO LIBERTY, these three runners were hampered for a couple of strides ,soon after ODE TO LIBERTY went in on to MANU RAMA hampering both runners for a couple of strides then clearing each other ,at this point ODE TO LIBERTY went back as ZIPPING TAY raced across ,ODE TO LIBERTY lost round rapidly back to a clear last in the running to finish well back at the line in last placing . ODE TO LIBERTY was referred to the vet for assessment where she was found to have Pain in the right fan muscle a 7 day stand down was recommended. The connections of ODE TO LIBERTY were shown a replay of the race where the Stewards were concerned with the dogs racing performance. After hearing submissions the Stewards have required the dog to undergo a satisfactory trial /s .
Race 7	J P PRINT (PETONE) C2/3 - C2/3 - 305	In the run to the first bend on the inner there was tightening and jostling as GRAND ALLEGRO ran in on to SPRING MAJOR who went in across the face of DOLLY PEG and VICKIE'S QUEST checking these two runners back to the rear, GRAND ALLEGRO also ran out of room at this point racing in tight quarters looking for racing room , wider our racing on to the bend EVER SO HOPEFUL came out bumping HOMEBUSH SARAH and JUST YOU WAIT these three runners jostled for a couple of strides running wide on to the top bend .
Race 8	HARRISON HIRE MASTER C3 - C3 - 520	In the run to the post on the first occasion ARCANE SABRE ( fav ) was hampered for racing room, in to the bend ARCANE SABRE angled out across the heels of THRILLING DYLAN coming together with OPAWA MESSINI, ARCANE SABRE went back a length or so back past midfield. Racing in to the back straight ARCANE SABRE gained clear racing room down on the inner and quickly made ground on the leaders ,racing in to the top bend ARCANE SABRE was held up for some distance in behind OPAWA JACKIE,OPAWA JEAN and LOCHINVAR ROSSI improving on his outer ,ARCANE SABRE angled out across heels nearing the home turn to make ground strongly around the outer to finish strongly in to 2nd placing at the line. OPAWA JEAN was referred to the vet at the trainers request on returning to the wash bay where the dog was found to have a spike wounds to the right hind & bruising.
Race 9	WANGANUI SECURITY C5 - C5 - 305	ALMOST GOT IT was slowest away . Racing in to the first turn ARMED FORCES angled in on to FOLLOW FAME pushing this runner inwards, both dogs were checked at this point ,a couple of strides on ALMOST GOT IT and ARMED FORCES came together when in the rear as they checked back off heels.
Race 10	THE DOGZONE C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	All clear
Race 11	WWW.RACINGTIPS.CO.NZ C4 - C4 - 305	WINE TIME was a late scratching after the Trainer reported that the dog was showing signs of lameness before leaving for the track. Soon after the start ALLEGRO MASTER ran out towards the centre of the track for several strides then angled inwards coming together with WATERBUG, ALLEGO MASTER lay in on WATERBUG for several strides as the field racing in to the first bend ,these two runners drifted out as WATERBUG kept pushing forward, ALLEGRO MASTER became unbalanced for a stride or so going back slightly with WINFIELD WINTER running in to the back of ALLEGRO MASTER ,MIGHTY MAGIC ( fav ), ran out sharply to avoid these dogs taking EXPLODABLE and FIGLIA very wide on to the top bend, these runners lost all chance there after. ALLEGRO MASTER finished amongst the beaten runners and was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK 06 345 6794 C4 - C4 - 305	MATILDA'S BABE dwelt slightly at the start ,further out BOLT ALLEGRO and BARRY'S WAY bumped . Racing in to the first bend FASTBACK KING angled in sharply across the heels of BOLT ALLEGRO and WEEPU running in pushing BARRY'S WAY in on to MATILDA'S BABE, BARRY'S WAY lost momentum back to the rear and was unable to improve there after. MATILDA'S BABE after being hampered racing in to the first turn made good ground to the home turn but was unable to quicken in the run down the home straight to finish in 4th placing at the line.
