| Race 1 | Super Pets Sprint - C0 - 295 | CULVIE GODFATHER (2) and ANOTHER LIZ (4) were the last pair on jumping. COLDRUM (5) ran inwards in the early stages dictating the line of PREMIER PRINCE (3) and CULVIE GODFATHER for a few strides. COLDRUM was then tightened into the bend. PREMIER PRINCE checked outwards into the bend and pushed CULVIE GODFATHER wider on the track. KYLA ROSE (7) checked outwards on the home turn pushing ANOTHER LIZ wider. |
| Race 2 | Happy Birthday Peter Rosanowski Dash - C1 - 295 | MONACO DENVER (6) was last on settling. BUDGIE RIGHT (7) ran inwards pushing ADJUDICATOR (2) down the track in the early stages. OUR CHARLOTTE (8) eased free of interference when racing to the first bend and dropped out to the rear. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. OUR CHARLOTTE was stood down for 28 days under Rule 79.1.b. for failing to pursue the lure with a satisfactory trial having to be completed. |
| Race 3 | Barron's Supplies Dash - C0 - 295 | EM CEE DEE (9) and FIRST OFFICER (8) settled at the rear. WOOLLY WHATSIT (6) was dragged down into the bend and lost ground with EM CEE DEE and FIRST OFFICER being forced wide around this runner. |
| Race 4 | Robbie's Bar & Bistro Stakes - C0 - 520 | TEPIRITA MEGA (1) and KNOW RIGHTS (5) were the last to jump. KNOW LUCK (3) stumbled after a couple of strides and lost ground. SKILLZ TAYLOR (7) checked outwards off TEPIRITA MEGA on the first bend and lost ground. SUSAN JEWEL (6) ran wide around the first bend. SUSAN JEWEL received a check when racing to the outside of WILLIS (4) at the entrance to the back straight. KNOW LUCK ran wide on the home turn. |
| Race 5 | DogZone Maiden Sprint Final - C0f - 295 | MAYBE WHAT (8) was very slow to jump. RICK'S TREASURE (5) ran inwards as TERRA ALERT (1) ran outwards in the early stages tightening SHAKAYLA ROSE (4), JAMAICAN ARCHIE (3) and LUCAS SCOTT (2). SHAKAYLA ROSE and CAWBOURNE ARNEY (6) collided for a stride soon after. LUCAS SCOTT angled outwards into the bend checking JAMAICAN ARCHIE with SHAKAYLA ARCHIE being forced wide at this point. MAYBE WHAT and RATTLESNAKE JAKE (7) came together for a stride on the home turn. |
| Race 6 | christchurchgreyhounds.co.nz Sprint - C1 - 295 | TOKEN MUSCLES (6) was tightened into the bend and lost ground. MEMPHIS GIRL (4) was badly dragged down by TELL THE BOYS (5) and lost its feet into the bend. This caused the whole field except ROCKWOOD ARCHIE (2) and NICKSTA (8) to be badly checked with TEAR AWAY TEDDY (7) falling. ROCKWOOD ARCHIE ran wide on the home turn. KNOW LAUGHING (1) angled outwards in the home straight inconveniencing TELL THE BOYS. All dogs involved in the skirmish were checked and passed fit by the vet. |
| Race 7 | Amber Cleaning Services Sprint Final - C1f - 295 | KNOW SALUTE (5) and BOSTON BILLY (10) were last from the traps. GOLDSTAR MARIO (6) shifted up the track into the bend causing an improving BOSTON BILLY and SPIDER GIRL (7) to be forced wide. BOSTON BILLY and GOLDSTAR MARIO then jostled for some strides around that bend. GOLDSTAR MARIO was referred to the vet for assessment. |
| Race 8 | Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C1 - 520 | BENJAMIN BLACK (8) was a clear last on jumping. KNOW MENTION (6) was checked in the run to the first bend as BIRCHBROOK (7) angled inwards. On the first bend STAR APACHE (3) angled inwards coming together with DYNA VIKKERS (1) with STAR APACHE being turned sideways for a stride. On the home turn OPAWA GAVIN (5) angled outwards inconveniencing KNOW MENTION for a stride. |
| Race 9 | Angler's Arms Tavern Sprint - C2 - 295 | BUTTERBEAN (8) proved troublesome when being boxed in this event. The connections were spoken to and advised that a more experienced handler should box this dog in its future starts. EYE ADAM (5) and WILL EXCITE (7) were the last pair on jumping. GOLDSTAR CHYNA (3) was checked in the early rush and lost ground. Into the bend CAMSIDE GOLD (2) checked outwards off the back of JACK'S A JEWEL (4) and pushed CHERRY CRUSHER (6) over extra ground. Early in the run home BUTTERBEAN angled outwards inconveniencing JACK'S A JEWEL. WILL EXCITE also angled outwards in the home straight pushing CAMSIDE GOLD up the track. When questioned in regards to the vastly improved performance of the winner ANOTHER GROOM (1) the connections advised that this dog races best when in front and today an inside draw and a downgrade enabled this to happen. |
| Race 10 | Carol's T.A.B. Stakes Final - C1f - 520 | CAWBOURNE ROWAN (6) and HYPERPARADISE (8) were the last on settling. ZULU CHANEL (2) ran outwards in the early stages. GOLDSTAR ROSIE (7) ran inwards in the run to the first bend tightening RUN ZOLA (5) and GOLDSTAR JUNIOR (4). ZULU CHANEL was checked from behind by RUN ZOLA into the first bend and lost ground. |
| Race 11 | Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C1 - 295 | TOKEN RAY (6) was very slow to jump. TINA (5) was checked in the early stages and lost ground. SHEZA GAMBLE (2) and TOO MUCH REBEL (1) were both badly tightened into the bend losing ground. |
| Race 12 | Protexin Sprint - C2 - 295 | ANOTHER COVER (8) was very hard to box in this event with this dog put on the box first list for its immediate starts. GO TOMMO (3) and ANOTHER COVER were last on settling. HOMEBUSH BRUNO (6) was tightened between BROOKE DAVIS (7) and ECKLES (5) into the bend with HOMEBUSH BRUNO losing ground. GO TOMMO was pushed wide at this stage. BROOKE DAVIS and ECKLES continued to jostle for position around the bend losing some momentum. |
| Race 13 | Non Tote 1 - Tier 2 - 295 | HOMEBUSH FLYTE (5) and SONNY WILL (3) were both tightened in the early stages. Into the bend VINCENT GALLO (1) was tightened and checked outwards into the path of FANTA'S FEVER (7) which fell. RANGITATA RAIDER (8) ran wide on the home turn. FANTA'S FEVER was referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of injury. |
