Track: Good The track was well presented and the meeting proceeded smoothly.

Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: There was some concern by the Stewards regarding the fact that there were only 15 minute gaps between some races which placed pressure on the Trainers with multiple runners engaged at the meeting.

Race 1	Turakina Pets C0 - C0 - 375	RADIO CALL and RANGER'S WALTZ shifted in going into the bend and crowded HOMEBUSH MELVIN which lost two lengths. A short distance further on, RANGER'S WALTZ and RADIO CALL jostled together and RADIO CALL checked and fell and RANGER'S WALTZ lost several lengths and all chance. RADIO CALL was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a toe injury.
Race 2	Shakey Jakey At Rocky Ridge C0 - C0 - 457	BEDLAM BRIDGE which was having his first start in New Zealand weighed 2.4 kilograms up in weight from his last start on 06.12.14 and this was an intentional increase. One of the favourites PLENTY OF TIME began awkwardly losing ground and he raced a little wide early in the race but finished quite well for 5th placing. PRINCESS NOVAK raced very wide covering extra ground on the bend and finished last.
Race 3	Greyhounds As Pets C2/3 - C2/3 - 457	LOCHINVAR MAUI, KNUCKLE BUMP, TEN POINT ONE and MARIAH jostled together for a short distance soon after the start and KNUCKLE BUMP and MARIAH suffered the most and settled at the rear where they stayed throughout the race. LOCHINVAR MAUI was checked going to the first corner and lost three lengths. LOCHINVAR MAUI checked over the heels of TEN POINT ONE in the home straight and was briefly unbalanced. KNUCKLE BUMP checked over the heels of MARIAH on the home turn and shifted out losing ground.
Race 4	Personal Protection Services C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	GRADUATION began awkwardly losing ground and he then jostled with CAWBOURNE BRICK for some distance and they settled at the rear and stayed back throughout the race. SPEED LEGEND shifted in going into the bend and checked CAWBOURNE BRICK which lost three lengths.
Race 5	Creative Catering, Awapuni C1 - C1 - 375	HOMEBUSH MISHA was slow to begin losing three lengths but recovered well to make up ground and finished in 4th place. KING'S SELECTION and BOTANY BAZZ began awkwardly and then collided losing ground and settled back.
Race 6	Steve The Auctioneer Davis C1 - C1 - 375	The favourite EXTREME TWIST was the slowest to begin losing two lengths but he made up ground to finish a close up 3rd. ZAMADDIS LASS shifted in going into the bend and crowded PRECIOUSLY and WORKING WORKING which both lost ground and they went back onto HOMEBUSH BOUNCE which lost ground and went back to the rear and never recovered.
Race 7	Grant Irvine Pharmacy C1 - C1 - 375	TAKE A TRICK, OLLIE BAXTER and ICAHN collided when the start was made and they lost two lengths and settled back. OPAWA TOKEN and OLLIE BAXTER raced wide over extra ground into the home straight,. ICAHN shifted out approaching the home straight and bumped TAKE A TRICK and they both entered the straight wide.
Race 8	Livamol Dash C2 - C2 - 375	All clear.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company Ltd C2/3 - C2/3 - 375	CHARMING NEV was the slowest to begin and he drifted off the back of the field soon after the start and raced very wide covering extra ground on the bend and finished in last place. It was CHARMING NEV'S first start for over four months.
Race 10	www.pngreyhounds.kiwi C5 - C5 - 375	ALLEGRO MASTER was the slowest to begin losing two lengths. He then went forward but checked off the heels of WHAT'S UP GEE going into the bend and they both lost ground. SIR RICHIE shifted in going into the bend and crowded BLUE AND CURLY, ELLE PACKER and RED MOOVA HOOVA and they were all inconvenienced for a short distance. SIR RICHIE was handy to the leaders going into the bend but then drifted to the rear and finished several lengths last. SIR RICHIE was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have sustained a gracilus muscle injury. RED MOOVA HOOVA was also referred to the Vet for assessment at the Trainers request and found to have an eye injury.
Race 11	Affordable Pet Accessories C4 - C4 - 375	MANYANA GROPER was slow to begin and settled back . INDIVIDUAL LILY shifted in going into the bend and crowded ALAMEIN KAT, SENORITA TINA and UNO HEIDI which all lost ground and they stayed back to finish in the last three places.
Race 12	J P Print, Petone C2/3 - C2/3 - 375	ACAPELLA and SMASHED EM BRO were awkwardly placed in restricted room going into the bend and were shuffled back to the rear where they stayed for the remainder of the race.
