Track: Good The track was presented in a very good racing condition. All other equipment operated well through out the meeting.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C1 - C1 - 305	In the run in to the first turn LAGOON FAME tightened in on to SHE'S SMASHING slightly hampering this runner for a couple of strides, in behind VINNY DOON and CALAMITY SUE came together jostling or several strides, both these runners lost ground. As the field raced on to the top bend OPAWA TOKEN raced through on the inner of CALAMITY SUE pushing this dog out on to VINNY DOON, these runners were all hampered for a couple of strides ,VINNY DOON when clear angled outwards across heels to be the widest runner there after.
Race 2	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C1 - C1 - 305	ANOTHER RULE began awkwardly and was further checked as HOMEBUSH OLIVE ran in to him at the end of the mat. WHERE'S RICAN and TASHA RAMA came together soon after the start, HOMEBUSH OLIVE ran in to the shoulder of TASHA RAMA a stride on. As the field raced in to the first turn HOMEBUSH OLIVE angled in across the face of the field forcing TASHA RAMA in on to WHERE'S RICAN, both these dogs were tightened and checked losing ground back towards the rear, TASHA RAMA raced wide across the top bend in to the home straight covering a bit of extra ground.
Race 3	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C2 - C2 - 305	LENNY MAC missed the jump by 5 lengths ,he made good ground along the inner around the bend but battled in the run home finishing in 5th placing at the line. From the boxes AZURE DREAMS raced across pushing HOMEBUSH LIMBO in on to MIGHTY MAGIC ( fav ), racing in to the bend HOMEBUSH LIMBO was tightened going back resulting in TAI BAXTER running on to the back of HOMEBUSH LIMBO, TAI BAXTER lost ground back to the rear and was unable to get in to contention there after.
Race 4	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD C2 - C2 - 305	From the jump WHEELIE CHILLIE ran in sharply checking GRAND ALLEGRO and CAWBOURNE KIWI who stumbled almost going down on hid nose, a couple of strides on CAWBOURNE KIWI was forced in to the hind quarters of COSMIC CHOICE pushing this runner in on to FLYING BLAKE who was checked back, COSMIC CHOICE ran in to VENGA GUAPA severely hampering this runner for a few strides , as VENGA GUAPA was checked back she angled outwards running in to ANOTHER DRINK, VENGA GUAPA got out wide and raced wide there after. SCOTT NO MATES a clear early leader drifted out on the home turn allowing WHEEELIE CHILLIE to take advantage of an inside run to finish off the best.
Race 5	THE ROCK 95.2FM C2 - C2 - 520	From the jump JACKANATOR ran in sharply tightening ARCANE SABRE ( fav ) on to the hind of OPAWA JACKIE, ARCANE SABRE was hampered for a few strides was then forced to race wide in to and around the first bend checking off the heels of JACKANATOR losing a length or so ARCANE SABRE made ground steadily there after to finish in to 2nd placing at the line.
Race 6	HARRISON HIRE MASTER C3 - C3 - 305	From the jump FEAR MARINA ran in to MANU RAMA who ran in to the hind of GOODTIME KATE . racing in to the first turn BAD WEEK crossed in tightening MANU RAMA in across the face of MISS MCFLY checking this runner back on the inner to the rear ,a couple of strides on FEAR MARINA caught the side of GOODTIME KATE, both dogs went sideways with GOODTIME KATE running in to FEAR MARINA quite hard FEAR MARINA almost fell but recovered to finish on well in to 4th placing at the line , in behind MANU RAMA caught the side of MISS SOFY as he raced past ,MISS SOFTY became unbalanced for a couple of strides going back to the rear and was unable to improve there after. FEAR MARINA was referred to the vet as a precaution where no abnormalities were found.
Race 7	J P PRINT (PETONE) C2/3 - C2/3 - 520	Racing to the bend on the first occasion CAWBOURNE AIRES ran out bumping MAGIC ARROW out on to OPAWA CASSIDY, all these dogs were checked losing ground, CAWBOURNE AIRES was several lengths in the rear racing to the back straight in a fairly strung out field ,she made good ground wide out along the back straight and across the top bend but covered a fair amount of extra ground to finish in 6th placing at the line.
Race 8	THE DOGZONE C3 - C3 - 305	VICKIE'S QUEST, CAWBOURNE PORSH and CRYSTAL WAVE all began awkwardly for a stride or so. Racing in to the first turn CRYSTAL WAVE improving along the inner was checked when pushed in on to the heels of VICKIE'S QUEST by CAWBOURNE PORSHE, CRYSTAL WAVE lost momentum with FASTBACK KING running on to her, soon after CRYSTAL WAVE ran out off the heels of BOTANY ZENVO running in to CAWBOURNE PORSHE, YA LAUGHIN' and HOMEBUSH ROMONA forcing these runners wide on to the top bend.
Race 9	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	REALLY CLEAVER missed the start by several lengths being a clear last in to the first bend. Racing in to the first bend ALL IN BERLIN ran in on to the shoulder of BRONX'S WARRIOR , both dogs went sideways with BRONX'S WARRIOR falling and ALL IN BERLIN going over the top of him to the outer of the track . BRONX'S WARRIOR was retrieved off the track by good work from handlers and referred to the vet for assessment. ALL IN BERLIN recovered her footing to finish on to the lure some distance behind the field and was referred to the vet for assessment where she was found to have pain in the left deltoid muscle.
Race 10	WWW.RACINGTIPS.CO.NZ C4 - C4 - 305	Racing away from the start SENORITA TINA ran in tightening WEEPU in on to ZIPPING TAY and bumping ELLE PACKER who went sideways for a stride, as she straightened FIGLIA ran out on to ELLE PACKER ,with ZIPPING TAY going back a length running in and checking HOMEBUSH CRASH. racing in to the first turn BLUE SENIOR and BIT COIN came together. WEEPU raced widest in to and around the top bend finishing on well for 3rd placing at the line.
Race 11	WANGANUI SECURITY C4 - C4 - 305	Soon after the start NGAURUHOE angled inwards on to BIG BOY DENO and BEV'S VIEWPOINT, further out POPSTAR ROCKET ran inwards across the face of ARIZONA SKY on to WHAT'S UP GEE , these three dogs bumped and jostled for several strides. Racing in to the bend BEV'S VIEWPOINT was tightened slightly on the inner as WHAT'S UP GEE improved on her outer ,BEV'S VIEWPOINT went back a couple of lengths then angled out wide being the widest runner on the home turn and finished towards the rear at the line.
Race 12	RACING @ HATRICK VALENTINES DAY 5.59PM - C5 - 305	racing away from the start MATILDA'S BABE and WATERBUG came together ,JINJA COLL angled in between runners bumping ALLEGRO MASTER and running in to the hindquarters of WATERBUG ,all these dogs were checked at this point. Racing in to the first turn WATERBUG angled inwards on to BLUE AND CURLY pushing this runner in on to the heels of WHY OH WHY . SIR RICHIE after being only fairly away from box 1 made ground along the inner in to the first turn where he was forced to check over the heels of WHY OH WHY making ground on the leader ,SIR RICHIE ran a bit wide on the home turn but finished strongly in the latter stages to finish in 2nd placing at the line.
