| Race 1 | Super Pets Sprint - C0 - 295 | Trainer R Casey advised Stewards that the weight decrease of 2.3 kgs for ERICA GRACE (5) was intentional in view of freshening the bitch for today's sprint. ERICA GRACE, TEAR AWAY TEDDY (6) and KNOW ANTERNET (8) were all slow to jump. Into the bend HOMEBUSH BUTTON (3) lost ground when racing to the outside of BELFAST EEJIT (1) and angled outwards pushing KNOW ANTERNET and TEAR AWAY TEDDY wider on the track. Following the race Trainer R Casey advised that ERICA GRACE would be retired from racing. |
| Race 2 | Happy Birthday Graham Van Tongeran Stakes - C0 - 520 | EUG THE SCROOGE (6) was last to jump. In the run to the first bend FRESCO STAR (2) angled inwards causing HIP HOP SOFIA (1) to check outwards hampering KNOW MENTION (3) and KNOW CONTEST (4) with EUG THE SCROOGE being forced wide. KNOW CONTEST was then badly dragged down on the first bend dropping to the rear. SKILLZ TAYLOR (8) got on heels for a stride at the end of the back straight and lost a length. On the home turn EUG THE SCROOGE checked outwards off HIP HOP SOFIA and into the path of KNOW MENTION with this runner being forced wide. |
| Race 3 | Carol's T.A.B. Dash - C0 - 295 | PISTOLS PRINCESS (5) was last to jump. TERRA ALERT (3) and JAMAICAN ARCHIE (1) jostled for a few strides in the early stages. Into the bend TERRA ALERT was tightened and lost ground badly checking PREMIER PRINCE (6). EM CEE DEE (8) and HOMEBUSH HANSOME (7) were both forced to race wide as a result of this incident. JAMAICAN ARCHIE ran wide on the final bend. On the home turn PREMIER PRINCE and HOMEBUSH HANSOME came together when well back. |
| Race 4 | The Turf Bar Sprint - C2 - 295 | BLAZING HOT (3) was last on settling. HOMEBUSH PAIGE (4) angled outwards in the early stages forcing WINNE WILLOW (5) out on to ZULU DEB (6) and KNOW SMIGGLE (7) with this pair losing ground. WINNE WILLOW checked outwards into the bend losing a length. BLAZING HOT shifted up the track in the home straight pushing HOMEBUSH PAIGE wider. |
| Race 5 | Power Farming Canterbury Maiden Stakes Final - C0f - 520 | KNOW WORTH (8) was last to jump. MALCY (3) and OPAWA KURU (4) came together in the early stages. KNOW LUCK (1) angled outwards into the first bend tightening CAWBOURNE GABLE (2) with MALCY and OPAWA KURU being hampered in behind. ZAHRA MOON (7) ran very wide around this bend. KNOW LUCK ran wide on the home turn and in the straight. |
| Race 6 | Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C0 - 295 | PASS WITH CARE (7) was very slow to jump. HOMEBUSH NAKI (3) ran outwards into the bend pushing TAMASKA (8) very wide on the track. CAWBOURNE WILMER (2) was tightened into the bend and lost ground. TELL THE BOYS (1) was inclined to run a touch wide on the home turn pushing BOLTIN ARCHIE (4) over extra ground. CAWBOURNE WILMER was dragged down by PASS WITH CARE after the line with CAWBOURNE WILMER being referred to the vet for assessment. |
| Race 7 | David Emerson Consultancy Dash - C1 - 295 | HAREEBA TIME (4) angled inwards in the early stages pushing CULVIE BOY (3) and OPAWA LUCKY (2) down the track. OPAWA LUCKY lost ground soon after as a result of a check as AIDEN BAXTER (5) crossed from its outside with OPAWA LUCKY then coming together with COSMIC CHELSEA (6) and dropping to the rear. CULVIE BOY was hampered at this stage. OPAWA LUCKY then ran wide on the home turn. GIGANAIRE (7) blundered on the home turn and was referred to the vet for assessment. |
| Race 8 | Hampden Tavern Stakes - C1 - 520 | KNOW TASTE (5) dropped to the rear in the early stages. Into the first bend PLUTONIUM (8) clipped the hind quarters of BOTANY LIZ (6) and fell. This pair were both referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of any abnormalities. |
| Race 9 | Shirley Vet Clinic Sprint - C1 - 295 | HOMEBUSH SPIKE (3) and BOSTON BILLY (7) were the last pair on jumping. HOMEBUSH FINE (6) ran sharply inwards on dispatch checking BUSINESS REVIEW (5), CODIE BREA (4) and HOMEBUSH SPIKE. BUSINESS REVIEW received a further check into the bend and lost ground. BOSTON BILLY angled marginally outwards on the home turn pushing ADRENALIN KICK (8) wider. ADRENALIN KICK then shifted down the track in the run home. |
| Race 10 | Clarkson Sign Studio Stakes - C1 - 520 | HOMEBUSH NINJA (8) was the last at the jump. LAGOON VICTORY (5) ducked outwards on dispatch checking KNOW CLOWN (6) for a stride. LAGOON VICTORY was pushed wide into the first bend with KNOW CLOWN receiving a check as a result and losing ground. On the home turn LAGOON VICTORY checked off the heels of GOLDSTAR BOMBER (4) after attempting a marginal run along the rail. EL GRAND SHADOW (1) was checked after the line and referred to the vet for assessment. |
| Race 11 | C.T.V. Dash - C1 - 295 | KNOW LAUGHING (7) dropped to the rear in the early stages. STRUGGLE IS REAL (6) was checked from behind for a stride into the bend causing it to run wide and lose ground. On the home turn CORPORATE IMAGE (4) ran inwards checking HOMEBUSH RILEY (2) which lost ground. ARBRE CHENE (5) was checked and fell after the line with this dog being referred to the vet for assessment together with STRUGGLE IS REAL. |
| Race 12 | Livamol Dash - C2 - 295 | OPAWA LAZ (2) was last to jump. JASPER HAKA (1) was tightened into the bend and lost ground as HOMEBUSH FLYTE (4) ran inwards. OPAWA LAZ angled outwards to obtain clear racing room on the bend pushing MR. NOVEMBER (5) and PHAT PANTS (8) wider on the track. |
