Race 1	Super Pets Dash - C3 - 295	GOLDSTAR CHYNA (6) was a late scratching when found to be in season on retrieval from the kennels. NEDDY SEAGOON (1) and EXCUSE PLEASE (8) were the last pair on jumping. KNOW MAGIC (4) and DILLMANSTOWN (3) came together in the early rush as KNOW WISDOM (5) shifted down the track. NEDDY SEAGOON angled outwards in the back straight and into the bend with DILLMANSTOWN, KNOW MAGIC, KNOW WISDOM and EXCUSE PLEASE all being hampered to varying extents.
Race 2	DogZone Dash - C3/4 - 295	KNOW MAYHEM (1), SWISS ACE (2) and HOMEBUSH ROCKY (8) were the last trio on settling. BILLY WEST (6) angled inwards into the bend tightening TOKEN STU (5) who lost ground and ran outwards forcing HOMEBUSH ROCKY wider on the track. BILLY WEST then made contact with an improving SWISS ACE with the pair losing ground and hampering KNOW MAYHEM in behind who ran outwards checking TRICKY ZORRO (4). SWISS ACE was dragged down for a stride on the home turn losing some momentum. FLYING SWAN (7) ran very wide on the home turn.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Sprint - C3 - 295	HANNA THE SPANNA (8) was last on jumping. SMASH EASY (3), RATTLE YA DAGS (4) and ABOUT TIME (5) collided in the early stages with the muzzle of SMASH EASY coming adrift at this stage. SMASH EASY lost ground into the bend when racing to the immediate inside of ABOUT TOWN. SMASH EASY then checked outwards and ran very wide on the turn finishing a clear last. KNOW FAVOURS (6) angled outwards on the home turn pushing CHAIMBO (7) wider on the track.
Race 4	I Pave Concrete Stakes - C4 - 520	GRUNT RODGERS (3) was a late scratching at kenneling after aggravating an old injury over its sesamoids. SOUMILLON (6) was last on jumping. THUMB PRINT TONY (8) dropped to the rear after contacting kennelmate QUESTION BALE (7) in the initial stages. MAGIC EMILY (2) ran inwards in the early stages forcing DREAM ACADEMY (1) to check outwards and come together with BOTANY SEATON (4) for a stride. Into the first bend SOUMILLON angled inwards simultaneously to DREAM ACADEMY continuing to shift outwards resulting in BOTANY SEATON being tightened. QUESTION BALE weakened out over the concluding stages with this dog being referred to the vet for assessment and found to be suffering from cramp.
Race 5	Mac Developments Distance - C0d - 645	PUNCH ON JAIME (9) was a late scratching after being found to be in season when being retrieved from the kennels. HIS LORDSHIP (7) was a touch tardy at the jump. KINLOCH POWER (5) angled outwards in the initial stages placing KINLOCH SILVER (6) in restricted room. KINLOCH POWER and CULVIE SPRITE (8) came together in the run to the judge on the first occasion. KINLOCH SILVER weakened over the concluding stages and was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 6	Kolorful Kanvas Stakes - C5 - 520	BOTANY KEVIN (3) was a late scratching at kenneling when found to have lacerations over an achilles tendon with resultant soft tissue swelling. JINJA TURTLE (4) was tightened in the early stages after HOMEBUSH CHOPPER (7) had run inwards pushing OPAWA NO EAR (6) and ROBBIE (5) down the track. OPAWA AMY (2) shifted outwards into the first bend and made contact with an improving JINJA TURTLE who blundered and lost many lengths and his chance. CAWBOURNE PHILIP (8) faltered on the first bend and dropped to a clear last. Following the race JINJA TURTLE and CAWBOURNE PHILIP were both referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 7	C.T.V. Sprint - C5 - 295	CLONE YOUR OWN (7) was last to leave the traps. HOMEBUSH KELSO (2) was tightened into the bend as BUMP (4) shifted down the track. After the line ZIPPING JYE (8) was dragged down with this dog being referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 8	Bill's Bar & Bistro Canterbury Futurity Heat 1 - R/Aq - 520 Heat 1	MEGA VOLT (6) was very slow to jump. ELWOOD SENSATION (3) was also slow to leave the traps. Into the first bend GOLD VIPA (4) shifted marginally outwards checking CAN'T CATCH TIM (7) who fell. CAN'T CATCH TIM completed the event and was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 9	Bill's Bar & Bistro Canterbury Futurity Heat 2 - R/Aq - 520 Heat 2	TUI TIME (2), GOOD GIRL NINA (4) and JEWEL EAGLE (8) were the last trio on jumping. In the run to the first bend OPAWA KENDAL (7) received a slight check as MULL IT OVER (1) angled away from the rail. TUI TIME checked outwards off the heels of JEWEL EAGLE on the first bend and ran wide losing a good deal of ground. JEWEL EAGLE ran outwards in the back straight placing OPAWA KENDAL in restricted room to the inside of BIRCHBROOK (6). GOOD GIRL NINA and JEWEL EAGLE came together losing momentum on the last bend.
Race 10	Bill's Bar & Bistro Canterbury Futurity Heat 3 - R/Aq - 520 Heat 3	DARCY BRASCO (1) was last to jump. WEARS THE GOLD (4) ran outwards in the early stages and this combined with OPAWA DIESEL (7) angling inwards ensured that the sisters MEGA SURGE (5) and SPARROW (6) were both tightened and lost ground. WEARS THE GOLD was then badly checked into the first bend as OPAWA DIESEL continued to hunt the rail. SPARROW was badly checked when unable to avoid WEARS THE GOLD. On the home turn OPAWA DIESEL again ran inwards checking RUN ZOLA (2) which was forced to check hampering DARCY BRASCO for a stride. WEARS THE GOLD was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 11	Christchurch Casino Sprint - C5 - 295	KERAMUS (1) was last to jump. COLLECTING MONEY (3) angled outwards into the bend off the heels of NO LEAF CLOVER (2) pushing BIG MUDDY (5), HOMEBUSH ARIEL (9) and KERAMUS over extra ground.
Race 12	Protexin Dash - C3/4 - 295	GOLDSTAR CHUMLEE (5) ran inwards on jumping checking CAWBOURNE ARROW (4) for a stride. KNOW KNOWING (2) was keen to shift up the track in the back straight placing CAWBOURNE ARROW and GOLSDTAR CHUMLEE in restricted room. WEE TERRA (6) was badly checked into the bend when racing in tight quarters with this bitch losing ground and hampering CAWBOURNE ARROW and GOLDSTAR CHUMLEE in behind. BO'S BUSINESS (7) was inclined to run wide on the home turn. WEE TERRA was referred to the vet for assessment. When questioned in regards to the improved performance of the winner STAR DREAMER (3) co-trainer R Casey stated that the dog was unlucky in its downgrading run last start and added that the kennel was confident of a forward performance tonight.
