Track: Good The track was presented in a very good racing condition being well groomed and watered through out a hot and humid day. All other equipment operated well .
Scales: Correct at all weights

Judicial report: Trainer L Ahern was fined $100-00 ( Rule 69.11 ) after ( CLAMPED ) race 12 weighed in 1.8 kgs over his last race weight on the 23-1-2015

Race 1	Totara Hospice Angel Project Sprint - C3 - 318	FORTIS FIONA stumbled slightly coming out of the boxes ,she was quickly in to stride racing across the face of FRENCH CURVES checking this dog back then running on to CAWBOURNE KIWI, ROCKIN' ROD and CAWBOURNE MIDGET ,all these runners bumped and jostled for several strides. Racing in to the first turn CAWBOURNE KIWI attempted to run out bumping FRENCH CURVES ,a couple of strides on FRENCH CURVES was forced to cross sharply out over the heels of PEETA MALLARK racing widest around the top bend. ROCKIN' ROD was referred to the vet at the trainers request where he was found to have suffered a split webbing to the left fore.
Race 2	Happy Birthday Jen Clarke Sprint - C4 - 318	In the run to the first turn there was bumping and jostling between JETSUN BLAZE, HIGH CALIBRE, and FANCY MY LUCK, a few strides on FANCY MY LUCK ran in to the shoulder of MISS ALLEGRO knocking this dog off balance ,at this point HIGH CALIBRE and JETSUN BLAZE ran inwards on to MISS ALLEGRO knocking her again ,she went back to the rear and was unable to improve there after finishing a margin in the rear at the line. JETSUN BLAZE raced widest on to the top bend. MISS ALLEGRO was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 3	Plasterboard Ltd Stakes - C4 - 527	Racing away from the start COOLABAH BLUE and WALLACE LAD came together Racing in to the bend on the first occasion COOLABAH BLUE crossed towards the rail checking FANCY AMIGO and CAWBOURNE BRICK back on to VIVA VANE who made contact with the rail ,VIVA VANE dropped to the rear and appeared to be uncomfortable in his galloping action there after, finishing in the rear at the line. VIVA VANE was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 4	Panasonic Sprint - C5 - 318	WINNING IS EASY ( fav ) went down on her haunches as she left the boxes being last away by several lengths. Racing in to the first bend ROTOVEGAS JUNIOR angled in on to the shoulder of COSMIC PEARL who ran in to WINFIELD AUTUMN knocking this dog off balance, a couple of strides on WINFIELD AUTUMN ran in to the back of ROTOVEGAS JUNIOR with SECTIONED running in to the back of these runners, ROTOVEGAS JUNIOR went down on his haunches at this point going back to the rear. Racing towards the home turn WINFIELD AUTUMN improving along the inner was checked as SECTIONED ran down to the rail , WINFIELD AUTUMN ran out sharply across heels running in to WINNING IS EASY shunting him out wide with SECTIONED being pushed in to the hindquarters of ALLEGRO CLASS and HARVEY NICHOLS WINFIELD WINTER ran wide in to the home straight losing a fair amount of ground. HARVEY NICHOLS recovered well after the earlier interference to finish on in to 3rd placing at the line. ROTOVEGAS JUNIOR finished towards the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 5	The Hospice Nurses Stakes - C1 - 527	Racing in to the bend on the first occasion CAWBOURNE ALPHA, BOSTON MONA and SHERIFF ROSCOE all ran wide ,with BOSTON MONA bumping SHERIFF ROSCOE at this point.
Race 6	Happy Birthday Roy Thomson Stakes - C2/3 - 527	YES NO MAYBE from box 5 began awkwardly for a couple of strides ,racing to the bend on the first occasion CAWBOURNE AIRES was tightened for room losing a couple of lengths . GRADER JACK ( fav ) was only fairly away from box 3 ,racing in to the first bend he cleared runners ducking down to the rail to follow the leader JELLY GEM, racing to the far bend GRADER JACK ran on to the heels of JELLY GEM for a stride losing some momentum and was unable to catch the front running JELLY GEM, GRADER JACK finishing in 2nd placing at the line.
Race 7	Jenny Ash Stakes - C2 - 527	JINJA JAM ( fav ) began awkwardly for a stride, racing in to the bend on the first occasion THIS TIME PEDRO crossed the face of JINJA JAM who lost a length or so ,soon after MAGIC ARROW bumped the hindquarters of JINJA JAM who went out on to CAWBOURNE TIFI, JINJA JAM lost more ground but ran on well in the latter stages to finish in to 3rd placing at the line.
Race 8	Manukau Breeders Stakes - SPECA - 527	Soon after the start ARMASTICE DAY ran out bumping MOORE PARK MISS ( fav ) at this point VALAIN'S FLYER ran in sharply as THRILLING STYLE bumped the hindquarters of VALAIN'S FLYER , MOORE PARK MISS ran inwards losing a couple of lengths , racing in to the bend on the first occasion ROTOVEGAS RARA ran across on to TIFINO as these runners went to the lead . ATOM BOMB from box 3 was only fairly away ,he was jostled racing in to the first bend losing ground, he raced back towards the rear along the back straight ,he attempted to improve nearing the home turn where he was bumped and jostled between THRILLING STYLE and VALAIN'S FLYER ,ATOM BOMB weakened there after to finish in the rear at the line. ATOM BOMB was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 9	City Of Sails Sprint Series Final - C5f - 318	In the run to the first turn ROTOVEGAS BOSS and FESTIVAL MISS came together jostling for some distance ,racing in to the bend ROTOVEGAS BOSS forced FESTIVAL MISS in on to UNO LACHLAN wider out CALL ME RALPH, DOUBLE MAGIC and HASHTAG JOSH came inwards resulting in ROTOVEGAS BOSS running on to the back of FESTIVAL MISS almost dragging this runner down ,FESTIVAL MISS went sideways on an awkward angle for a couple of strides losing all chance there after , HASHTAG JOSH, CALL ME RALPH and ROTOVEGAS BOSS were forced to run out very wide on to the top bend recovering from the interference. FESTIVAL MISS finished a margin in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 10	Totara Hospice Anniversary Day Cup - C5 - 527	JANNIK was a late scratching before kenneling after the dog was showing signs of Diarrhoea on arrival at the track. Racing in to the bend on the first occasion there was jostling and tightening between RITZA DANNY SPANISH FANCY and ROTOVEGAS RAT for several strides ,soon after racing around the bend ROTOVEGAS RAT and BOSTON HEART jostled for a few strides.
Race 11	Happy 40th Mark Smith Sprint - C5 - 318	Soon after the start FIREMAN'S LEGACY ran in cutting CALAMITY FREE back ,FIREMAN'S LEGACY ran in to WHAT'S UP GEE and BIG JAMSEY turning this runners sideways ,all these dogs were hampered losing momentum, FIREMAN'S LEGACY recovered well to cross inwards bumping in to COSMIC MACK, wider out CALAMITY FREE attempted to force his way inwards severely hampering WHAT'S UP GEE and BIG JAMSEY for several strides with these three runners going back to the rear . FIREMAN'S LEGACY after getting handy on the top bend weakened out to finish in last placing at the line.
Race 12	Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C4 - 318	ALL THE MILK was away well racing handy in the early stages ,racing in to the first bend ALL THE MILK changed stride out over the heels of WHERE'S CARLOS soon after ALL THE MILK went amiss finishing a margin in the rear to pull up to the lure. Wider out in the run to the first turn CLAMPED ( fav ) ran in bumping MISS SOFTY who went in bumping in to NINJAGO and in across his heels ,a few strides on MISS SOFTY became awkwardly balanced making the first bend ,she lost momentum and was unable to get back in to contention there after. ALL THE MILK was referred to the vet where she was found to have suffered a left side hock injury ,this was put in a splint for the dog to return home.
