Track: Good The meeting was held in warm & humid conditions the track was well watered and groomed through out the meeting All other equipment worked well through out the programme.

Race 1	Fond Foods Ltd Sprint - C0 - 375	DARK GARNAH began awkwardly from box 3 Soon after the start THRILLING FLORA raced across the face of KRACK IT checking this runner for a couple of strides. Racing in to the first turn ENFORCED KIWI ran in to the shoulder of KRACK IT hampering this runner for a couple of strides.
Race 2	Hautapu Veterinary Clinic Sprint - C1 - 375	In the run to the first turn LORD DE AIR ran in bumping TOXIC REVENGE bounced back out on to SUNDAY DRIVER ,as PROCRASTINATION crossed to the lead on to the rail, wider out FOUND MY BERRIES angled inwards resulting in SUNDAY DRIVER, LORD DE AIR and TOXIC REVENGE all being checked back to the rear at this point . Racing on to the top bend TOXIC REVENGE on the improve was forced to check out sharply over heels to the outer. SUNDAY DRIVER and LORD DE AIR made ground in the run home to finish in 4th & 5th placings respectively .
Race 3	Vehicle Services Ltd Stakes - C0 - 457	Soon after the start JESSE PINKMAN ran out on to BOSS WAVE, these two runners bumped and jostled for several strides, BOSS WAVE then ran across pushing DOBBIE over towards the rail ,DOBBIE and JUST CRACIE came together bumping for a few strides. BOSS HOGG raced handy in to the first turn where he ran wide across heels forcing REGAZZA LUCIELLE, LITCHFIELD LADY and JESSE PINKMAN very wide on to the top bend ,BOSS HOGG raced wide from there on in and appeared to be uncomfortable in the run home where it was clear the dogs muzzle was flopping around his head. BOSS HOGG was referred to the vet as a precaution where no abnormalities were found.
Race 4	Greyhounds North Distance - C2d - 650	LEVEL DOWN a favoured runner raced poorly in the rear through out and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found .The Stewards spoke to Trainer Mrs C Hore regarding the performance in today's race the connections are disappointed in the dogs run and could offer no explanation . The Stewards have advised that they will be looking for an improvement in his next races.
Race 5	Dogzone Stakes - C1 - 457	Racing towards the first turn SPEIGHTS KID raced across as BOSTON MONA came out across the heels of SUMMIT ROCK ,BOSTON MONA forced PERCENTAGE GIRL out on to MISS VOTCHKA and SPEIGHTS KID these runners were all checked at this point, TAKAMORI and REGAZZA GINA came together jostling for several strides racing to the first turn. SUMMIT ROCK when vying for the lead on the outer of TAKAMORI went back 6 or more lengths to midfield finishing in 6th placing at the line . SUMMIT ROCK was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found . The Stewards reviewed the race across the top bend where it appeared that TAKAMORI on the inner caught SUMMIT ROCK in the shoulder causing this runner to go off stride for a couple of strides losing ground and was unable to make up ground in the run home finished in 6th placing at the line.
Race 6	General Engravers Ltd Sprint - C2 - 375	In the run to the first turn there was severe crowding between LUCKY MAN, ADDICTED, THIS TIME PEDRO and VERY CHILLY , THIS TIME PEDRO was forced to gallop sideways for several strides when being pushed in as SHELBY KING angled across from box 8 ,VERY CHILLY was checked back running in to VICARIOUSLY who ran in making contact with the rail, a few strides on YOUR'E LUCKY on the inner was checked running on to the back of ADDICTED as this runner came back . ADDICTED and YOUR'E LUCKY lost a fair amount of ground at this point finishing towards the rear at the line. VICARIOUSLY was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 7	New Zealand Racing Series Graduation Final - NZRSf - 457	Racing in to the first turn BORIS from box 8 attempted to cross inwards severely tightening LEGAL AID, TEN POINT ONE JINGA JAM and ARTIC ROUGE ,TEN POINT ONE was sandwiched between runners being forced down on to his haunches ,LEGAL AID directly in behind ran on to the back of TEN POINT ONE dragging him down further ,TEN POINT ONE went back to a clear last in the running ,LEGAL AID from being up handy lost a lot of ground as did BORIS ( fav ) who almost fell being turned sideways and stumbled for a stride or so losing momentum and a fair bit of ground THRILLING BRAVE also was badly hampered losing all chance there after. JINGA JAM after being hampered in the earlier incident finished strongly in the latter stages to finish in 2nd placing at the line. TEN POINT ONE was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 8	The Clubhouse Sports Bar Sprint - C3 - 375	LOCKETTE IN EDDIE began awkwardly for a stride or so. racing to the first urn HERE WITHOUT YOU angled across the face of the field resulting in severe tightening ENGLISH HONEY, FANCY ROVER( fav ), BELRANI, and BEE RABBIT ,FANCY ROVER and BELRANI went back on to BEE RABBIT dragging this runner sideways and down on his haunches almost stopping in his tracks going back to last in the running . BEE RABBIT was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found. ROTOVEGAS SPARKY finished 4th and was referred to the vet at the Handlers request ,he was found to have suffered torn dew claws
Race 9	Box 1 Gold Sprint - C4 - 375	Soon after the start PREMIER OSTI raced across towards the rail checking IT'S THE DREAM, FANCY MY LUCK, MERCENARY, ALL IN ALL and ARMASTICE DAY ,MERCENARY was severely tightened between runners and fell ,he quickly recovered to his feet to finish on to the lure . MERCENARY was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 10	Palamountains Nutrition Sprint - C5 - 375	Soon after the start THRILLING EDGE ( fav ) and SHARELLA bumped ,soon after racing in to the first turn MIA ZORRA cut across the face of THRILLING EDGE checking this runner going back a couple of lengths then coming together with HASHTAG JOSH THRILLING EDGE was unable to get in to contention thereafter finishing towards the rear at the line.
Race 11	Te Awamutu Self Storage Stakes - C5 - 457	ROCKY BOY ( B Craik ) was a late scratching at kennelling when found to have pain on flexion of left hind digits. This race was delayed 1 minute at the request of race day control. THRILLING CARTER ( fav ) from box 8 was unable to get around runners racing in to the first bend ,he was hampered checked and stumbled checked out wide as he ran in to the side of JAZZBOY JACK as this runner was hit in the shoulder by MOORE PARK MISS, in behind these runners GHOST WRITER and KISSEN RUN were checked after running in to each other . THRILLING CARTER covered a fair amount of extra ground in the running finishing towards the rear at the line.
Race 12	Affordable Pet Accessories Stakes - C3/4 - 457	A stride out of the boxes ZAGATO ( fav ),VIVA VANE, FANCY AMIGO and FORTIS FLIER all came together ,GOOD RETURN from box 1 began awkwardly . In the run in to the first turn FORTIS FLIER angled in between runners running in to FOUND ROMAN ,FORTIS FLIER then ran in to the shoulder of GOOD RETURN . Racing in to the bend FANCY AMIGO cut inwards across the face of VIVA VANE checking this runner back to the rear ,ZAGATO and FOUND ROMAN were hampered at this point again losing ground ,ZAGATO and VIVA VANE were unable to get back in to contention there after finishing towards the rear at the line.
