| Race 1 | Welcome Stakes C1 - C1 - 520 | MIGHTY BAXTER was slow to begin and he stayed back throughout to finish in last place. THRILLING AVA also settled back and stayed there throughout to finish in 7th place. OPAWA HALLY was knocked down at the lure and was momentarily caught under the rail and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have lumbar muscle pain on both sides. |

| Race 3 | Brent Coull Memorial Ht 1 C2 - C2q - 305 Heat 1 | The favourite HANIFY ACE was the slowest to begin and settled back. He then made ground around the outside until shifting in approaching the home straight and finished very well along the rail to finish a close 2nd. ALLEGRO TOUCH and CAWBOURNE BEAU were both checked and lost momentum on the home turn as HANIFY ACE moved through on their inside. |
| Race 4 | Capital Paving (Petone) C2 - C2 - 520 | PSEUDONYM and SHADOW BAXTER were slow to begin and settled back and they then raced wide over extra ground on the first bend. |
| Race 5 | Brent Coull Memorial Ht 2 C2 - C2q - 305 Heat 2 | COSMIC CHOICE was slow to begin but recovered quickly and made up ground to finish in 4th place. HOMEBUSH HAVEN was jostled between RUNS FOR GAS and MACGYVER RAMA soon after the start and drifted to the rear going into the bend and finished several lengths last. HOMEBUSH HAVEN was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a leg injury. |
| Race 6 | Group 1 Wellington Cup Ht 1 C5 - C5q - 520 Heat 1 | AIR RAID shifted out going into the first corner caused checks to THRILLING STYLE and CHECK THE MAIL which lost four lengths and they stayed back for the remainder of the race to finish in the last two places. The favourite FASHION AND FAME raced in or near the lead but appeared to tire and drifted from the end of the back straight and finished in 5th place. The Trainer has undertaken to advise the Stewards if anything untoward becomes apparent in ensuing days. |
| Race 7 | Wellington Champion Sprint Ht 1 C5 - C5q - 305 Heat 1 | BLUE AND CURLY was tightened between ELLE PACKER and MISS FOXY MINX when the start was made and lost a length. BLUE AND CURLY then bumped with EL JETTA and they both lost ground and settled back. |
| Race 8 | Group 1 Wellington Cup Ht 2 - C5q - 520 Heat 2 | TIFINO was the slowest to begin losing two lengths and RITZA DANNY was also a little slow away and settled back. TIFINO was awkwardly placed behind runners going into the first bend and shifted out forcing RED CRYSTAL and RITZA DANNY to race wide on the first bend covering extra ground and they stayed back to finish in the last three places. |
| Race 9 | Wellington Champion Sprint Ht 2 C5 - C5q - 305 Heat 2 | SHINZIGZAG and BIT COIN were slow to begin losing two lengths. NEED TO CHILL checked over the heels of BLUE SENIOR and shifted out forcing LEADFFOT LENNY very wide entering the home straight. Soon after, ALL IN BERLIN shifted out abruptly and collided with BLUE SENIOR and they both lost momentum briefly but recovered to finish in 3rd and 4th places. |
| Race 10 | Group 1 Wellington Cup Ht 3 C5 - C5q - 520 Heat 3 | COOLABAH BLUE shifted out from the start and caused bumping to INDI RHODE, BOSTON HEART, KNUCKLE BUMP and THRILLING DYNAMO and they all lost ground and settled back. The favourite ANGVELLA began awkwardly losing ground and settled in 3rd place. He then shifted out going into the first bend and raced a little wide but only battled from there and finished in 5th place. |
| Race 11 | Wellington Champion Sprint Ht 3 C5 - C5q - 305 Heat 3 | DEATHSTAR began awkwardly and settled back. EXPONENTIAL LILY jostled with WINFIELD AUTUMN going to the first turn and shifted in causing a severe check to CIDER DRINKA which lost four lengths and he never recovered and finished in last place. |
| Race 12 | Wellington Cup Final 23rd January C3 - C3 - 305 | SPOT ON MAGGIE checked off the heels of BOLT ALLEGRO going to the first corner and lost two lengths and a short distance further on, HOMEBUSH SARAH also checked off the back of BOLT ALLEGRO and they both lost ground and they never recovered. |
