HOMEBUSH RILEY shifted out going into the bend and checked GUMMY GUMPSTA which was forced out onto CHERIE CHERIE and they both lost three lengths. |
Race 2 | HARRISON HIRE MASTER C0 - C0 - 305 | MIGHTY BA BA and BOTANY CHRIS were slow to begin losing two lengths. HIDE THE SOCKS checked off the back of BUZZY AS going into the bend and then galloped on the back of BUZZY AS on the home turn and shifted out onto CAROLINA MOON and all three runners lost several lengths and they finished in the last three places. |
Race 3 | WWW.RACINGTIPS.CO.NZ CO - C0 - 520 | MEG'S ME MUM and CLEARLY MAGIC were a little slow to begin and settled back. They then jostled together going into the first bend losing further ground with CLEARLY MAGIC the most affected and she dropped off the back of the field and finished several lengths last. CLEARLY MAGIC was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. |
Race 4 | J P PRINT (PETONE) C1 - C1 - 305 | SCOTT MY MONEY began awkwardly and bumped with TASHA RAMA but recovered quickly. AYRA STARK checked off the heels of the leader CODIE BREA going into the bend and shifted out making contact with MIGHTY MAGIC and they both lost three lengths. TASHA RAMA and HOMEBUSH OLIVE were also affected in the incident and were forced wide on the bend over extra ground and stayed back to finish at the rear. |
Race 5 | LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305 | FEAR MARINA and HOMEBUSH SPIKE were slow to begin losing two lengths. FORTIS MEMORIES, HOMEBUSH SPIKE and ELITE DOSE jostled together for a short distance going to the first corner and FORTIS MEMORIES and HOMEBUSH SPIKE went back to the rear and stayed there for the remainder of the race. |
Race 6 | THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 520 | WAIMAK DAVE shifted in going into the first bend and caused checks to CAWBOURNE ALPHA and BRONX'S WARRIOR which both lost ground but they recovered to finish in 1st and 4th places. ANOTHER HUNTER was racing inside CAWBOURNE ALPHA entering the back straight but appeared to receive a check, faltered and drifted of the back of the field and finished several lengths last. ANOTHER HUNTER was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a spike wound between toes, torn calf muscle and a suspected metatarsal fracture. |

Race 8 | CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD C1 - C1 - 520 | BOTANY BAZZ jumped in the air and missed the start by three lengths and he stayed well back throughout the race. |
Race 9 | WANGANUI SECURITY C1 - C1 - 305 | PRANCING BEE began awkwardly losing three lengths and she stayed back throughout the race. |

HOMEBUSH TED shifted in soon after the start and caused crowding and subsequent checks to CALAMITY SUE and HOMEBUSH NARK and they lost three lengths. SHE SAID MAYBE and DO MORE jostled together and became briefly unbalanced going into the bend. |
Race 12 | BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C2 - C2 - 305 | JASPER HAKA and GRAND ALLEGRO were slow to begin losing two lengths. CAWBOURNE MIDGET shifted in going into the bend and caused checks to JASPER HAKA AZURE DREAMS, RUNS FOR GAS and GRAND ALLEGRO and they all lost ground with JASPER HAKA, AZURE DREAMS and RUNS FOR GAS the most affected and they finished in the last three places. |
Race 13 | Non Tote - Tier 2 - 305 | BILLY BRAND was slow to begin losing four lengths and he tailed the field throughout to finish in last place. FIJIAN DANDY started from box 8 and raced wide covering extra ground on the bend. |
