| Race 1 | Otago New Year Sprint - C0 - 310 | EM CEE DEE was slow to jump. In the run to the turn OPAWA VENUS ran sharply inwards checking PAGANI. Both dogs continued to jostle into the turn PAGANI forced to check outwards making firm contact with KNOW LUCK who became unbalanced and forced wide losing ground. As a result PAGANI was severely checked and lost all chance to finish well back. |
| Race 2 | www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C1 - 310 | PUKEKO WARRIOR was slow to jump while KNOW LAUGHING jumped awkwardly and lost momentum. As the field tightened into the turn ROYAL APACHE shifted ground inwards, checking off the heels of PUKEKO WARRIOR and falling with PUKEKO WARRIOR losing ground. ROYAL APACHE regained his feet to finish the race a long last. On the turn KNOW LAUGHING ran outwards pushing BUSINESS REVIEW wide. Into the straight PUKEKO WARRIOR lost momentum when checking off the rear of BUSINESS REVIEW. After the race ROYAL APACHE was subject to a veterinary check which revealed bruising with a 5 day stand down recommended. |
| Race 3 | Bramwell Scaffolding Maiden Stakes - C0 - 545 | SPRINGS ETERNAL and WAIRIO DEE JAY were slow to jump. From the jump DAISY DEAR ran sharply inwards checking HOMEBUSH HANSOME. Into the first turn WAIRIO DEE JAY ran wide and forced DAISY DEAR wider on the track. SPRINGS ETERNAL also ran wide on the first turn and struck DAISY DEAR with both dogs losing all chances to finish at the rear. |
| Race 4 | Keyosk Service Bar Stakes - C1 - 545 | From the jump CALINDA GIRL ran inwards and BRUISER BALE shifted outwards with BOTANY LIZ, LAGOON TWIST and LONG STOCKINGS all tightened. Into the first turn THRILLING HUNT ran inwards checking BRUISER BALE with a resulting check to the trailing LAGOON TWIST and LONG STOCKINGS with both these dogs losing all chances. |
| Race 5 | Forbury Sports Bar Stakes - C2 - 545 | From the jump SCOTSOME POWER shifted inwards and lost momentum when checking off the rear of CALM SPIRIT. On the first turn as the field tightened KINLOCH POWER was forced wide. BANBIT ran wide down the back straight. |
| Race 6 | Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Sprint - C2 - 310 | Trainer D.Stapleton advised that PRIMITIVE, which was scratched today in season, had been retired from racing to stud. In the race, into the turn RANGITATA RAIDER shifted ground outwards checking OPAWA OPAL. |

Into the turn ANOTHER COLT ran inwards tightening HOMEBUSH ZANE with the trailing UNRELIABLE ANDY and BOTANY WIN inconvenienced. On the turn BOTANY ZENVO, BOTANY WIN and SHEZA GAMBLE all ran wide. |
| Race 8 | Speedprint Shop Stakes - C3 - 545 | From the jump LAGOON BELLE ran outwards tightening SOUMILLON and COVER TO COVER. Shortly after the jump OPAWA KENDAL shifted abruptly inwards with CHLOE'S PRODIGY severely checked and becoming unbalanced and losing ground. Into the turn LAGOON BELLE crossed and checked KNOW SECURITY. On the turn COVER TO COVER checked outwards off the rear of KNOW SECURITY and collided with RUNAWAY TAXI which lost all chance. |

| Race 10 | Dave Robbie Photographer Stakes - C5 - 545 | At the jump ANDREA shifted inwards checking CAWBOURNE PHILIP with the trailing KNOW DANGER also inconvenienced. Into the first turn STOLEN MONEY clipped the heels of THRILLING MARTY with both dogs running wide on the bend. ANDREA was very slow over the early stages but ran on in the straight, with the dog resuming racing after a spell. |
| Race 11 | Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Sprint - C4 - 310 | TRICKY ZORRO and ZORBA THE GREEK were slow to jump. From the jump IMPERSONATOR shifted abruptly outwards checking GOLDSTAR CHUMLEE. Into the turn HOMEBUSH KELSO shifted ground inwards tightening CAWBOURNE ARROW. On the turn TRICKY ZORRO, KNOW WISDOM and CAWBOURNE ARROW made heavy contact with all dogs checked and losing momentum. |
| Race 12 | Racing Again Tuesday 20th January - C5 - 310 | RONROSE HILL (M&J Hill) had a 1.9kg variation in weight, but the dog had not started since 7 October 2014. In the race OPAWA IDOL and KERAMUS were slow to jump and MARY MARLOW stumbled on jumping losing ground. Shortly after the jump RONROSE HILL shifted ground downwards checking BUMP. Into the turn CHOKEHOLD and RONROSE HILL bumped with CHOKEHOLD running out and forcing MARY MARLOW wide. Into the straight OPAWA IDOL shifted outwards checking MARY MARLOW. Following the race MARY MARLOW was subject to a veterinary check which revealed a stopper pad injury with a 7 day stand down recommended. |
| Race 21 | Non Tote - Tier 2 - 310 | In the run to the turn HAREEBA TIME ran inwards tightening GOLDSTAR MARIO on her inner, whilst MITCHELL DEAN shifted outwards checking SUBTERFUGE and HYPERPARADISE. On the turn MITCHELL DEAN again ran outwards making firm contact with HAREEBA TIME with both dogs falling and losing all chances. In this incidents SUBTERFUGE and HYPERPARADISE were severely checked and also lost all chances. MITCHELL DEAN and HAREEBA TIME regained their feet to finish the race a distant last and were both subject to veterinary checks which revealed no injuries. |
| Race 22 | Non Tote - Tier 2 - 310 | JEWEL APACHE and TONY'S CHOICE were slow to jump. Into the turn TONY'S CHOICE shifted ground outwards with JEWEL APACHE forced to check off that dog's heels and both MASSAGE ONLY and MCJOPSON were dictated very wide on the track. |
