Track: Good The track was presented in good order and with all equipment functioning well, the meeting proceeded smoothly and concluded on time
Scales: Checked and correct
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: The Starter J.Doody and Trainer P.Knights were spoken to advisedly after it was observed that Mr Knights had been leaning on the boxes when the start of race one was made. RED MOOVA HOOVA, an entrant in race 11 was stood down for 28 days under Rule 80.1 b for failing to pursue the lure throughout and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing.

Race 1	Turakina Pets C0 - C0 - 375	HOMEBUSH HAPPY began awkwardly losing four lengths. MEG'S ME MUM and INFERNAL MAJESTY were also slow away and settled back. PORTOBELLO PATSY was checked going into the bend when UNLIKELY ATTACK shifted in and PORTOBELLO PATSY was again checked on the bend, went back to last and was referred to the Vet for assessment. PORTOBELLO PATSY was found to have pectoral muscle pain. MEG'S ME MUM and ARCANE RAMPAGE jostled together on the home turn, became unbalanced briefly and lost ground.
Race 2	Yella Mustard @ Stud C0 - C0 - 375	LAGOON MAC was slow to begin losing two lengths. LAGOON MAC and WHAT A PARTY then came together and bumped losing ground going into the bend. GOODTIME ALANNAH was checked losing several lengths on the bend when ICAHN shifted out and ARCANE SABRE was also hampered in the incident. ICAHN continued to shift out covering extra ground but finished strongly to win the race.
Race 3	Greyhounds As Pets C1 - C1 - 375	BIG WONDER was checked losing ground on the home turn and finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a foot laceration.
Race 4	Personal Protection Services Ltd C1 - C1 - 457	WALL AGE shifted out soon after the start and checked SHADOW BAXTER which lost ground. MISS SELFIES shifted in going into the bend and checked WALL AGE which lost three lengths and he never recovered. BOSTON SPIRIT was handy enough going to the first corner but then drifted back to the rear and finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 5	Creative Catering Awapuni C1 - C1 - 375	FIJIAN DANDY and GRAND ALLEGRO bumped together when the start was made and they lost ground and settled back. BOOT THE CASH and GRAND ALLEGRO jostled together going into the bend and were briefly unbalanced losing ground and FIJIAN DANDY was also hampered in the incident and they finished in the rear group.
Race 6	Shakey Jakey @ Rocky Ridge C1 - C1 - 457	TIME FOR WHAT suffered a laceration to a foreleg. The race was all clear.
Race 7	Steve The Auctioneer Davis C2 - C2 - 375	OLLIE BAXTER and SMASHED EM BRO raced wide on the bend covering extra ground and they finished in the back half of the field.
Race 8	Grant Irvine Pharmacy C2/3 - C2/3 - 457	OPULENT shifted in going into the bend and caused checks to LONESOME NITRO and HOMEBUSH LUCIFER and they both lost two lengths. LONESOME NITRO recovered well to make up ground for a close 2nd placing but HOMEBUSH LUCIFER stayed back for the remainder of the race.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company Ltd C3 - C3 - 375	STIFF DRINK began very awkwardly losing five lengths.
Race 10	JP Print, Petone C4 - C4 - 375	ALAMEIN KAT shifted in from the start and crowded BAD WEEK which lost its position and went back to the rear where he stayed throughout the race. WHEELIE GOOD shifted out on the bend to race very wide into the straight but continued a strong run to win the race.
Race 11	Livamol Dash C5 - C5 - 375	SIR RICHIE began awkwardly losing two lengths and he stayed well back throughout the race. MISS UNIVERSE was handy early in the race but received crowding going to the first corner and went back onto SHINZIGZAG and they both lost ground and finished in the rear group. RED MOOVA HOOVA led into the home straight but was observed to ease and turn his head and finished in 2nd place. As a result, RED MOOVA HOOVA was referred to the Vet for assessment, cleared of injury and was stood down for 28 days under Rule 80.1 b and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing.
Race 12	Merry Christmas & Happy New Year C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	CAWBOURNE TIP shifted out going into the bend as LOCHINVAR MAUI shifted in slightly and this resulted in jostling between those two runners and GRADUATION and WALLACE LAD which were racing in between. This resulted in all four losing ground with GRADUATION and WALLACE LAD being the most affected. SPEED LEGEND was referred to the Vet for assessment at the Trainers request and found to have a laceration to the main pad on the right hind foot.
