| Race 1 | Wanganui Chronicle C1 - C1 - 305 | ACONAGUA and ALLEGRO TOUCH jostled together soon after the start and both lost ground and settled back. ALLEGRO TOUCH then jostled with BLAZE'S CORPORAL for a short distance and ALLEGRO TOUCH suffered the most and went back to the rear and never recovered. |
| Race 2 | Absolutely Electrical C1/2 - C1/2 - 305 | HOMEBUSH TIARE was one of the slowest to begin but improved quickly to be handy going to the first corner. He was then checked and went back to the rear when HERMIONE BAXTER and ARIZONA SKY shifted in and HOMEBUSH TIARE never recovered and finished in last place. |
| Race 3 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C1/2 - C1/2 - 305 | REBEL JOE, VINNIE BAXTER and ZAMADDIS LASS were slow to begin losing two lengths. COSMIC CHOICE shifted in going into the bend and caused checks to THOU ROMEO and WHERE'S RICAN and they lost several lengths, went back to the rear and stayed there for the remainder of the race. |
| Race 4 | The Rock 95.2FM C1/2 - C1/2 - 305 | SMIRNOFF shifted in and JOHNNY ANGEL shifted out from the start and this resulted in tightening and checks to WALDO BAXTER, OUR JACK ATTACK, CAWBOURNE MIDGET and MACGYVER RAMA which all lost varying amounts of ground. SMIRNOFF was again checked going into the bend losing further ground and she stayed back from there to finish in last place. |
| Race 5 | Harrison Hire Master C2 - C2 - 520 | OLLIE BAXTER shifted out from the start and hampered OPAWA CASSIDY which lost ground and settled back but she made up ground well from there and finished in 2nd place. BACKYARD BULLY was checked and loost ground going into the first bend but made up ground for 4th placing. BUSTER BOY was also checked going into the first bend and then received an interrupted run for some distance and finished in last place. |
| Race 6 | Inter Islander Summer Festival C3 - C3 - 305 | SHEIK EM UP began awkwardly and lost two lengths. ROCK ON SPRITE, MISS MCFLY and ACAPELLA were also slow to begin and settled back. ACAPELLA raced a little wide on the bend over extra ground and finished in last place. SHEIK EM UP shifted out approaching the straight entrance in attempting to go around BOLT ALLEGRO and he became unbalanced and forced ROCK ON SPRITE wide and they jostled for a short distance, lost ground and finished near the rear. |
| Race 7 | The Dogzone C4 - C4 - 305 | BIG FAT GYPSY bumped with LEADFOOT LENNY and then with ODE TO LIBERTY when the start was made and all three were briefly unbalanced and lost ground. |
| Race 8 | Palamountains Scientific Nutrition C 3/4 - C3/4 - 520 | CAWBOURNE BRIGHT was checked entering the back straight when LOCHINVAR MAUI shifted in and she lost three lengths but was observed to be finishing the race off well for 5th place. KILLER LYON finished in 2nd place but was observed to falter free of interferance soon after the winning post. KILLER LYON was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a hind leg injury. |
| Race 9 | Welcome Back Mary and Tristan C5 - C5 - 520 | SMASH ALLEGRO and RITZA DANNY bumped together going into the first bend and shifted out forcing REALLY CLEVER wide over extra ground. GIBBONATOR and CHECK THE MAIL bumped together going into the back straight and GIBBONATOR lost four lengths and never recovered the lost ground. |
| Race 10 | www.RacingTips.co.nz C4 - C4 - 305 | BAD WEEK began awkwardly and settled back where he stayed throughout the race. JUST YOU WAIT checked off the back of WAR ON TERROR on the bend and they both lost several lengths and they never recovered and finished in the rear group. |
| Race 11 | Liquorland Wanganui c5 - C5 - 305 | CIDER DRINKA began very awkwardly losing several lengths and all chance. DOLLY PEG shifted in from the start and checked SIR RICHIE which lost two lengths. WINFIELD BLACK and KASIM jostled together going into the bend and went out and back onto SIR RICHIE with all three losing several lengths. |
| Race 12 | Book Your Function @ Hatrick C5 - C5 - 305 | OPAWA SISTER began awkwardly and lost three lengths. POPSOME TAGS checked off the back of SUPER ROOSTER going into the bend and lost three lengths. SUPER ROOSTER and MISS ALLEGRO raced side by side on the bend and it appeared that SUPER ROOSTER shifted out slightly and MISS ALLEGRO was checked and fell. She was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have concussion. |
