Judicial report: Trainer D Stapleton was fined $100.00 as per the Minor Infringements Table after admitting a breach of Rule 69.11 when CAWBOURNE KITT was presented 1.7 kgs above its last race weight on 16 December. Handler G Tapiki was fined $50.00 as per the Minor Infringements Table after admitting a breach of Rule 71.4 in that he failed to catch SALLY in Race 1 as arranged.

Race 1	Super Pets Stakes - C0 - 520	ERICA GRACE (9) was very slow to jump. RICK'S TREASURE (4) ran inwards in the initial stages checking OAK SPUR (3) and SALLY (2). JINJA LUCA (8) ran inwards into the first bend checking ZULU CHANEL (6) and PINT SIZED PIXIE (5). ERICA GRACE and OAK SPUR were both badly hampered in this incident. At the end of the back straight SALLY ran inwards and collided with RICK'S TREASURE with this pair falling. ZULU CHANEL and PINT SIZED PIXIE were both forced very wide in this incident with ERICA GRACE receiving a bad check when avoiding the fallen runners. SALLY and RICK'S TREASURE were both cleared of injury after being assessed by the vet.
Race 2	Active Electrical Christchurch Dash - C0 - 295	MALCY (1) was the last to jump. HOMEBUSH DOBBY (8) and CAWBOURNE DANIAL (6) angled inwards into the bend causing significant tightening to BOSTON BILLY (5), KNOW LUCK (3), PRINCELY COUNT (2) and MALCY with this quartet losing their chances.
Race 3	Carol's T.A.B. Sprint - C0 - 295	HAYLEY JAMES (1) was last to jump. SACAJAWEA (2) and LAGOON VICTORY (3) lost ground in the back straight as MARTY MCMOTH (4) angled inwards with this pair settling towards the rear. Into the bend ABBAS JUNIOR (8) was checked from behind by ADRENALIN KICK (5) with both dogs losing momentum and running wide. MARTY MCMOTH and HOMEBUSH DODGER (6) were both momentarily inconvenienced in this incident. HOMEBUSH DODGER then ran inwards and came together with LAGOON VICTORY for a stride on the home turn. ABBAS JUNIOR was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 4	The Turf Bar Stakes - C0 - 520	BIRCHBROOK (6) was very slow to jump with OPAWA DIESEL (3) and HOMEBUSH HANSOM (8) also settling well back. TRACEY (4) angled inwards and brushed STAR APACHE (1) into the first bend with TRACEY losing some momentum. As a result of this ZIPPING JACOB (7) was pushed wider with CAWBOURNE KITT (2), HOMEBUSH HANSOM and BIRCHBROOK all receiving checks and losing ground. Into the back straight HOMEBUSH HANSOM lost more ground as BIRCHBROOK crossed from its outside.
Race 5	I Pave Concrete Dash - C1 - 295	NATE SCOTT (3) was a clear last at the jump. HOMEBUSH FINE (7) crossed smartly to the rail causing checks to RANGITATA RAIDER (5), ROYAL APACHE (4), BLACK SAILS (2) and ANGEL D'OR (1). NATE SCOTT covered extra ground when improving on the home turn. RANGITATA RAIDER ran wide on the last bend. ROYAL APACHE and ANGEL D'OR were both inspected by the vet and cleared of any abnormality.
Race 6	Greyhounds As Pets Stakes - C1 - 520	DARCY BRASCO (4) and ARCHIE'S COMET (5) dwelt at the start. Into the first bend GOLDSTAR FRANKIE (8) ran inwards coming together with JEWEL APACHE (2) simultaneously to CHAIMBO (1) angling outwards and placing this runner in restricted room. As a result DARCY BRASCO was pushed very wide around the bend and ARCHIE'S COMET was held up for a few strides.
Race 7	Amber Cleaning Services Sprint - C1 - 295	BROOKE DAVIS (5) was last to jump. Into the bend MR. NOVEMBER (1) angled outwards simultaneously to MAY MAY LAST (8) running inwards with this pair colliding and running to the outside. OHOKA JOKA (4) and BROOKE DAVIS were both caught up in this melee with the quartet losing their chances.
Race 8	Christchurch Casino Stakes - C1 - 520	Into the first bend BOTANY BAZZ (5) angled outwards pushing GOOD GIRL NINA (7) and GOLDSTAR JUNIOR (8) wider on the track. GOOD GIRL NINA then angled back to the rail on the bend and was dragged down by KNOW CLOWN (6) with HYPERPARADISE (4) and GOLDSTAR JUNIOR being forced wide as a result. GOOD GIRL NINA was referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 9	Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C2 - 520	OPAWA JEAN (4) and NICKY NOIR (7) were the last pair on jumping. LAGOON MAY (2) shifted outwards in the early stages tightening CULVIE SPRITE (3). Into the bend BANBIT (5) was tightened and lost ground when awkwardly positioned between LAGOON MAY and KINLOCH POWER (6). On the first bend BOTANY LIZ (8) ran inwards and received a check from NICKY NOIR who was on the rail.
Race 10	Bill's Bar & Bistro Stakes - C2 - 520	JINJA COOKIE (3) and YOU'RE SO FREE (6) were the last pair on jumping. JINJA COOKIE was then held up for a stride and ran outwards into the first bend pushing OHOKA FRENCHI (8) and YOU'RE SO FREE wider. HOMEBUSH CORAL (5) raced in tight quarters in the run to the first bend. On that bend KINLOCH ACTION (7) and HE'S A JESSIE (9) came together as STICH UP (4) improved to their inside. HE'S A JESSIE got on the heels of STICH UP in the back straight and lost ground hampering HOMEBUSH CORAL for a stride. YOU'RE SO FREE was pushed wide when avoiding the tiring HE'S A JESSIE. KINLOCH ACTION ran inwards in the home straight placing STICH UP in restricted room close to the line. HE'S A JESSIE was cleared of any abnormality after being assessed by the vet.
Race 11	C.T.V. Sprint - C2 - 295	JASPER HAKA (1), BATIATUS (4) and TOKEN RAY (7) were the last trio to jump with BATIATUS stumbling for a stride. BATIATUS, MULBERRY BROOK (5) and TOKEN RAY all raced wide around the bend losing ground.
Race 12	Livamol Dash - C2 - 295	BOTANY ZENVO (7) ran inwards in the back straight checking HELLO BLONDIE (6). ELWOOD SENSATION (3) was then held up as HELLO BLONDIE lost ground. On the home turn JINJA COLL (2) angled outwards and took the legs out from under ROCKWOOD ARCHIE (8) who fell. ELWOOD SENSATION received a check when attempting to avoid the fallen runner. ROCKWOOD ARCHIE was referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 13	Non Tote - Tier 2 - 295	HOMEBUSH SPIKE (1) was last to jump. THRILLING SOUND (4) was tightened in the back straight and dropped to the rear. HOMEBUSH SPIKE ran wide on the home turn and in the straight.
Race 14	Non Tote - Tier 2 - 295	FIRE BOY BAXTER (8) was last on settling. MEMPHIS GIRL (1) checked off the back of FEAR MARINA (6) on the home turn and ran outwards pushing GOLDSTAR ROSIE (7) wider on the track.
