| Race 1 | Greyhounds As Pets C0 - C0 - 375 | TORERO jumped inwards abruptly from the boxes colliding with RADIO CALL which was severely checked losing ground. SHEZA HUM DINGA and ARCANE RAMPAGE jostled for a short distance approaching the bend. SHEZA HUM DINGA and BOTANY CHRIS came together and bumped rounding the bend resulting in SHEZA HUM DINGA losing ground. ICAHN was obliged to race wide for the majority of the event. HIDE THE SOCKS which led the field entering the straight, appeared to go off stride and hit out indifferently for the remainder of the event. HIDE THE SOCKS underwent a Veterinary assessment which revealed a right Pectoral muscle injury. Following the race,TORERO underwent a Veterinary assessment which failed to reveal any abnormalities. RADIO CALL underwent a Veterinary assessment following the race which revealed a left flexor tendon injury. |
| Race 2 | No Moore Hassell Petfoods C1 - C1 - 375 | SHADOW BAXTER jumped inwards abruplty from the boxes crowding HOMEBUSH MISHA and COYOTE CAUGHT YA. A short distance further, COYOTE CAUGHT YA went off stride and appeared indifferent in it's action for the remainder of the event. COYOTE CAUGHT YA underwent a Veterinary assessment which revealed a right hip support injury. MADDIE BRAND was crowded for room rounding the bend when racing between HOMEBUSH MISHA and SHADOW BAXTER which shifted inwards. MADDIE BRAND appeared indifferent in it's action thereafter losing contact with the main body of the field. MADDIE BRAND underwent a Veterinary assessment which revealed a left-hind Gracilis tear. BANJO'S RETREAT was obliged to make it's run wide rounding the bend. |
| Race 3 | Yella Mustard @ Stud C1 - C1 - 375 | HOMEBUSH BOUNCE and BULET TOOTH TONY came together and bumped over the early stages, with HOMEBUSH BOUNCE then shifting in abruptly placing WHEELIE BINN and LITTLE ARTHUR in restricted room. HOMEBUSH GINGER became awkwardly placed on the heels of JOEY'S SECRET rounding the bend and lost ground. |
| Race 4 | www.pngreyhounds.kiwi C1 - C1 - 375 | BENJI ran inwards over the initial stages forcing BIG WONDER inwards into the line of DARBY LANE which was checked losing ground. COOLABAH BLUE shifted out off the heels of BENJI entering the straight and in doing so forced SOME GENES wider on the track. |
| Race 5 | Personal Protection Services C1/2 - C1/2 - 457 | PEACOCK PRINCESS and CAWBOURNE BRICK bumped on several occasions along the back straight. PEACOCK PRINCESS shifted inwards approaching the bend checking INTO THE FRAY which lost ground. Also affected was the trailing MANU RAMA which was unable to avoid the heels of INTO THE FRAY. Into the bend, MAGIC ARROW improved up onto the heels of PEACOCK PRINCESS which was dragged down momentarily. |
| Race 6 | Creative Catering, Awapuni C1 - C1 - 457 | BORIS shifted inwards approaching the bend resulting in WALL AGE and CAWBOURNE JOSH which were racing to the inside, being buffeted for several strides. AMY WINEGLASS ran wide rounding the bend forcing COSMIC SCRAMBLE to race wider. |
| Race 7 | Steve The Auctioneer Davis C2 - C2 - 375 | The start of this race was delayed 1 and a half minutes after the handlers were late to arrive at the boxes due to the quick gap between races. SAM'S FLYIN NORM and CAWBOURNE DOUST were crowded leaving the boxes between ZAMADDIS LASS and BOSTON LIGHTNING which shifted out abruplty. CAWBOURNE DOUST raced wide for the majority of the event. |
| Race 8 | Rose City Motel C3 - C3 - 375 | UNO ORANGE, CRYSTAL WAVE, JACKANATOR and ACAPELLA were all crowded for some distance in the early stages between TALK IT OVER and EVER SO HOPEFUL which shifted in abruptly. Following the race, EVER SO HOPEFUL underwent a Veterinary assessment which revealed a right flexor tendon injury. |
| Race 9 | Outback Trading Company Ltd C3 - C3 - 375 | COOL HEIR was slow to begin and shortly after shifted out making heavy contact with OPULENT. COOL HEIR and OPULENT then came together and bumped entering the bend with OPULENT becoming unbalanced and shifting inwards, checking COOL HEIR. COOL HEIR appeared indifferent in it's action for the remainder of the event and was referred to the Veterinarian which revealed a right Pectoral muscle injury. |
| Race 10 | Grant Irvine Pharmacy C4 - C4 - 375 | COSMIC FURY ran inwards entering the bend momentarily checking MANYANA GROPER. Rounding the bend, COSMIC FURY checked outwards off the heels of OPAWA SHAIDEN and into the line of ALAMEIN DUKE which was dragged down, losing considerable ground. ALAMEIN DUKE underwent a Veterinary assessment which revealed a left hip support injury. OPAWA SHAIDEN appeared to shorten stride rounding the bend, running wide forcing MANYANA GROPER to race wider on the track. OPAWA SHAIDEN then continued to give ground through the field finishing a distant last. OPAWA SHAIDEN underwent a Veterinary assessment which revealed injuries to the right Triceps, right Pectoral muscle and right Hip support. |
| Race 11 | JP Print Petone C5 - C5 - 375 | SMASH ALLEGRO and KASIM were crowded leaving the boxes between CALL ME BLUE which ran inwards and ELLE PACKER which ran outwards. Shortly after, ELLE PACKER and SMASH ALLEGRO jostled for some distance, with ELLE PACKER losing ground. |
