| Race 1 | ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 - C0 - 305 | INFERNAL MAJESTY was one of the slowest to begin and settled back and stayed there throughout the race. HOMEBUSH HOWARD shifted out going into the bend and checked DENALI which lost ground and went back to last and finished in that position. |
| Race 2 | HARRISON HIRE MASTER C0 - C0 - 305 | TORERO and POPPA CONQUEST were slow to begin and settled back. POPPA CONQUEST shifted in going into the bend and checked TORERO which lost three lengths. POPPA CONQUEST then shifted out to race wide covering extra ground and finished in last place. WAIRERE MIKE shifted in going into the bend and forced HOMEBUSH DODGER onto the line of SUSAN JEWEL which was checked losing three lengths and all chance. |
| Race 3 | WWW.RACINGTIPS.CO.NZ C0 - C0 - 305 | PIXIE DUST was slow to begin losing three lengths and she stayed well back throughout. GRAND ALLEGRO shifted in going into the bend and crowded PRINCELY COUNT, HOMEBUSH HANSOME and MISS TAKAMORI which all lost ground. MISS TAKAMORI had some difficulty negotiating the bend into the straight and shifted out hampering PIXIE DUST and HOMEBUSH HANSOME which was in behind was also hampered for a short distance. ICAHN raced wide over extra ground on the bend and into the straight but finished very well for 2nd placing. |
| Race 4 | J P PRINT (PETONE) Ht1 C1 - C1q - 305 Heat 1 | ANOTHER FANTASY jumped with the other runners but was slow in the early stages and settled back but made up ground in the home straight to finish in 4th place. BIG WONDER bumped with NEWTON WILLOW soon after the start and they lost momentum for a short distance. NEWTON WILLOW made contact with the hind quarters of BIG WONDER going into the bend and they both lost further ground. |
| Race 5 | LIQUORLAND WANGANUI Ht2 C1 - C1q - 305 Heat 2 | ELBRUS was slow to begin and settled back and stayed back throughout the race. HOMEBUSH BOUNCE and MISS GRASSHOPPER bumped together going into the bend and MISS GRASSHOPPER suffered the most and she stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. |
| Race 6 | THE ROCK 95.2FM Ht3 C1 - C1q - 305 Heat 3 | BOOT THE CASH, FIVE KAY LEG and CAWBOURNE MATTY were slow to begin losing two lengths. BOOT THE CASH shifted in going into the bend and hampered FORTIS FIONA which lost ground. A short distance further on, BOOT THE CASH shifted out and caused checks to KING'S SELECTION and HOMEBUSH DAWN and they never recovered and finished at the rear. HOMEBUSH DAWN was referred to the Vet for assessment after she was observed to have blood on a foot and was found to have a laceration to a paw. |
| Race 7 | WANGANUI CHRONICLE Ht4 C1 - C1q - 305 Heat 4 | SCOTT MY MONEY shifted out from the start and caused tightening to FORTIS LION, FORTIS MEMORIES, WORKING JEWEL and COSMIC RASCAL and they were all briefly unbalanced and lost ground. FORTIS LION shifted in going into the bend and checked SOME GENES and SCOTT MY MONEY and they lost several lengths and all chance. |
| Race 8 | CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD Ht5 C1 - C1q - 305 Heat 5 | DOGGED DENNIS checked off the heels of FLIRT WITH ME going into the bend and dropped back a length. DOGGED DENNIS then appeared to make contact with LITTLE ARTHUR, was checked and fell and NOMINAL LILY was severely hampered and lost several lengths. DOGGED DENNIS was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. |
| Race 9 | WANGANUI SECURITY Ht6 C1 - C1q - 305 Heat 6 | GOMAN NINNIE weighed in 1.9 kilograms over its last start weight on 03.09.14 and this was an intentional increase. BLACK MAGIC ROCK shifted in abruptly from the start and checked MADAM ICE which lost ground and she was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a toe laceration. PROCRASTINATION and JUST ABOUT READY were also slow to begin losing two lengths. JUST ABOUT READY made a strong forward move to be wide and handy to the lead on the bend but then only battled from there and finished in 6th place. GOMAN NINNIE drifted off the back of the field on the bend and finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have thigh muscle pain ( both ) and shoulder pain. |
| Race 10 | THE DOGZONE C1 - C1 - 520 | BOB'S EYE, OPAWA HALLY, MISS SELFIES and SUE SEWS SOCKS bumped together for a short distance on the first bend when racing at the rear and they were all briefly unbalanced losing ground and they stayed back to finish in the last four places. |
| Race 11 | PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 520 | The hot favourite LONESOME NITRO was the slowest to begin and was the awkwardly positioned in restricted room going to the first corner but eventually found clear running and went on to win the race. SARAH CAMPBELL received an interrupted run going to the first corner and was shuffled back to last and stayed there to finish in that position. |
| Race 12 | BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C2 - C2 - 305 | SAM'S FLYIN NORM and FLYING BLAKE were slow to begin losing a length. CAWBOURNE BEAU shifted in soon after the start and jostled with WINE TIME and TONGARIRO for a short distance. FLYING BLAKE was checked back to last going to the first corner and he never recovered. CAWBOURNE BEAU and PHILEAS FOGG jostled together for some distance on the bend and into the home straight and they both lost ground. SAM'S FLYIN NORM shifted in going into the bend and checked ZAMADDIS LASS and WINE TIME which both lost ground. |
