| Race 1 | www.pngreyhounds.kiwi C0 - C0 - 375 | ICAHN began awkwardly losing three lengths and he then shifted out to race wide covering extra ground and finished in 6th place. RADIO CALL galloped on the heels of SHEZA HUM DINGA on the bend and they both lost several lengths and stayed back to finish in the last two places. |
| Race 2 | Creative Catering, Awapuni C1 - C1 - 375 | MANU RAMA was slow to begin losing two lengths but he made up ground well to finish in 4th place. PHILEAS FOGG and SMASHED 'EM BRO bumped together soon after the start and became briefly unbalanced and a short distance further on, PHILEAS FOGG bumped with HOMEBUSH BOUNCE and they both lost ground. The winner CLASSY ZARA was observed to be lame in front following the race and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have flexor tendon pain. |
| Race 3 | Personal Protection Services C2 - C2 - 375 | The leading group raced in tight formation going into the bend and SAM'S FLYIN NORM and ZAMADDIS LASS shifted out while RED CRYSTAL shifted in which resulted in COSMIC CHOICE being checked. COSMIC CHOICE then went back causing checks to CAWBOURNE BULLY which lost four lengths and SPACE CAPTAIN which fell but he was quickly back on his feet and finished onto the lure some distance behind the other runners. SPACE CAPTAIN was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a toe injury. |
| Race 4 | Steve The Auctioneer Davis C1 - C1 - 375 | HOMEBUSH DAWN was up in weight by 2.3 kilograms from her last start over a month ago and this was an intentional increase. WHEELIE OVER IT was slow to begin and she then shifted out going into the bend and checked BULET TOOTH TONY which lost ground and stayed back to finish in last pllace. WHEELIE OVER IT continued to race wide over extra ground and finished near the rear. HOMEBUSH MARLOW shifted in going to the first corner and hampered CAWBOURNE MATTY and PURE LEE for some distance. PURE LEE galloped on the heels of CAWBOURNE MATTY on the bend and they both lost momentum for a short distance. |
| Race 5 | Rose City Motel C2 - C2 - 457 | KINLOCH ACTION shifted in from the start and caused crowding to CAWBOURNE WALES, GOLD STONE, TOKEN RAY and BIG RED CHEV and they all lost ground. KINLOCH ACTION collided with ADDA BOY ZEKE going into the bend and KINLOCH ACTION fell and TOKEN RAY was brought down. CAWBOURNE WALES, GOLD STONE and ADDA BOY ZEKE were all checked in the incident and lost all chance. TOKEN RAY and KINLOCH ACTION were referred to the Vet for assessment and KINLOCH ACTION was found to have a pectoral muscle injury and TOKEN RAY was cleared of injury. |
| Race 6 | No Moore Hassell Petfoods C3 - C3 - 375 | CRYSTAL WAVE shifted out from the start and hampered JACKANATOR, BEE RABBIT and OPAWA HOG which all lost a little ground. WEE DIGER shifted out from the rail going into the bend and caused checks to TALK IT OVER, BEE RABBIT and JACKANATOR and they all lost ground. WEE DIGER continued to race very wide covering extra ground and finished in last place. |
| Race 7 | Yella Mustard @ Stud C2/3 - C2/3 - 457 | OPAWA MARGORIE was slow to begin and settled back. OPAWA OPAL and BIGTIME KAZ bumped together soon after the start and were briefly unbalanced. ALLEGRO MAX shifted in going to the first turn and caused severe checks to BACKYARD BULLY, PSEUDONYM and OPAWA MARGORIE and they lost several lengths and stayed back for the remainder of the race. |
| Race 8 | Greyhounds As Pets - C4 - 375 | ENHANCER was checked when SHINZIGZAG on the inside and COSMIC FURY on the outside both shifted ground and ENHANCER settled back. COSMIC FURY galloped on the back of YA LAUGHIN going into the bend and YA LAUGHIN lost several lengths, went back to the rear and never recovered. |
| Race 9 | Outback Trading Ltd C1 - C1 - 457 | COYOTE CAUGHT YA was very slow to begin losing four lengths and he stayed back throughout to finish in 2nd last place. OPAWA BORN faltered on the bend and drifted off the back of the field to finish several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. |
| Race 10 | Racing Series Novice Final - NZRSf - 457 | SPEEDY SWEDE checked aver the heels of OPAWA BRO soon after the start and lost ground. OPAWA BRO, SPEEDY SWEDE and WORBOYS jostled together for a short distance going into the bend and OPAWA BRO and WORBOYS suffered the most in the incident and both lost ground and never recovered. OPAWA BRO was again checked soon after the first incident and he lost three lengths. |
| Race 11 | Grant Irvine Pharmacy C4/5 - C4/5 - 375 | VARGA FROST and FREEDOM FLYER collided when the start was made and they settled at the rear and stayed well back throughout the race. |
| Race 12 | Livamol Stakes C4/5 - C4/5 - 457 | JIBBAJABBA JEWEL drifted off the back of the field early in the race and eventually finished several lengths last. The dog did not appear to be galloping comfortably and was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. GUS and SMASH ALLEGRO came together on the bend and they both lost ground in the incident. |
