Judicial report: PLAGIARISM (race 7) was a late scratching at 10.53am on Vets advice after showing signs of lethargy.
JINJA POWER (race 9) was a late Scratching at 12.30pm after being found to be in season.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C3 - 295	SMASH EASY (4) came outwards at the jump forcing CAMPAIGNER (6) and GO BRIDIE (7) into tight quarters to the inside of MULBERRY BROOK (9). Racing into the bend SMASH EASY lost ground when placed in restricted room between DEE (2) and GO BRIDIE.
Race 2	Opawa Bowl & Jack Dash - C3 - 295	PORKY PIG (8) jumped awkwardly. Racing into the bend SMASH THAT (7) crowded the racing room of BELLWAVE (6) and HOMEBUSH PAIGE (5) resulting in CRONK WENT PLONK (4) being checked and losing momentum. Racing round the bend CAMRAY (3) was obliged to check off the heels of PORKY PIG.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Dash - C4 - 295	CAWBOURNE JELLY (8) came inwards at the start crowded the racing room of BLUE GALE RISE (7) and OPAWA IDOL (6). BUSINESS ARIEL (4) and WANDY JEWEL (5) came together shortly after the start. WANDY JEWEL and OPAWA IDOL bumped racing round the bend.
Race 4	DogZone Dash - C3 - 295	GO TOMMO (2), BLUE REVIEW (4) and GOLDSTAR BOMBER (8) were all slow to jump. Racing into the bend WELLYWOOD (5) fell to the track after being placed in restricted room between KNOW KNOWING (7) and FANTASTIC FOUR (3). This resulted in checks to all trailing runners. WELLYWOOD underwent a Veterinary examination which revealed tenderness in the hip area.
Race 5	Christchurch Casino Stakes - C4 - 520	BOTANY SEATON (2) was placed awkwardly between runners shortly after the start. JEWEL EAGLE (3) was placed in restricted room prior to the first bend which resulted in this dog coming back onto BOTANY SEATON who had to check off this runners heels. RUNAWAY TAXI (1) had to check off the heels of OPAWA WEBBY (5) rounding the first bend.
Race 6	C.T.V. December Dash Heat 1 - C5q - 295 Heat 1	LITTLE MIDNIGHT (4) came inwards at the start impeding the box speed of ROBBIE (3). Racing into the bend HOMEBUSH CHOPPER (6) and LITTLE MIDNIGHT came together resulting in HOMEBUSH CHOPPER losing momentum and its chance.
Race 7	C.T.V. December Dash Heat 2 - C5q - 295 Heat 2	CLONE YOUR OWN (5) was slow to jump. RED HOT FURY (8) and CHARLIES CHOICE (7) came together briefly after the start. OHOKA COBY (1) was placed in restricted room and lost all momentum when racing to the inside of LAREDO (3) entering the bend.
Race 8	C.T.V. December Dash Heat 3 - C5q - 295 Heat 3	INSPECTOR SPOT (7) came inwards at the start forcing TOKEN STU (6) onto DRYSDALE (5) which was severely checked. DRYSDALE was sent to the Vet for assessment after this dog faltered at the bend before tailing the field. Trainer A Lee advised DRYSDALE would now be retired.
Race 9	christchurchgreyhounds.co.nz Stakes - C4/5 - 520	PUNCH ON JAMIE (3) was checked when CULVIE MAGIC (4) came across the track prior to the first bend. ELEPHANT GUNN (7) ran wide rounding the first bend. QUESTION BALE (6) began to tire rounding the final turn.
Race 10	Shirley Vet Clinic Sprint - C4 - 295	COSTING MONEY (1) began awkwardly. QUE TEE PIX (2) , ZORBA THE GREEK (9) and UMAGA RAMA (6) were all slow to jump. Racing into the bend ANOTHER COLT (5) was placed in restricted room between ZORBA THE GREEK and SLEEPER AGENT (7) resulting in checks to QUE TEE PIX and UMAGA RAMA. COSTING MONEY continued to run inwards over the concluding stages placing SLEEPER AGENT close to the rail. Trainer C Roberts was questioned in regards to the improved performance of the winner ROQETTE (3). He replied that the bitch has recently been downgraded after racing in NZ Cup heats and a good draw ensured that she would be on the pace throughout.
Race 11	Active Electrical Christchurch Dash - C3 - 295	WILL EXCITE (2) was slow to jump. NOT SO CUTE (6) came inwards after the start checking KNOW MAYHEM (5). NOT SO CUTE continued to come down the track and made contact with the rail. NOT SO CUTE was sent to the Vet post race and cleared.
Race 12	Snow-e Muscle, Energy & Fertility Sprint - C4 - 295	Racing into the bend EXPLODABLE (2) was placed in restricted room to the inside of ON THE LEVEL (3). HOMEBUSH ROCKY (5) was awkwardly placed between runners racing into the bend.
