Track: Dead The track was downgraded to Dead midway through the programme due to the heavy rain that had fallen although the track still provided safe footing.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil.

Judicial report: TEPIRITA MEGA (R Blackburn) and JINJALESS (J&D Fahey) were both withdrawn from finals prior to the box draws due to kennel cough. CAWBOURNE KITT (C Weir) completed a satisfactory trial as required by Rule 81.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C0 - 295	PASS WITH CARE (5) was very slow to leave the traps. OHOKA TORI (3) and CHERIE CHERIE (4) ran outwards in the early stages coming together with CUE POWER (7). CHERIE CHERIE then angled back inwards checking OHOKA TORI for a stride. OHOKA TORI was dragged down into the bend by ENFORCED KIWI (2) with this pair losing ground and OHOKA TORI running outwards checking SPECIAL DOSH (6). This pair again lost ground when colliding on the home turn and finished well back. OHOKA TORI was referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of any abnormality.
Race 2	Coalgate Tavern Dash - C0 - 295	HOMEBUSH DODGER (4) stumbled in the early stages and dropped to the rear. TOKEN JUMP (7) ran sharply inwards on dispatch hampering WRINKLES (5) for a stride and then coming together with ANGEL D'OR (1) losing momentum. PEYTON SAWYER (2) angled outwards into the bend checking HOMEBUSH OLIVE (8) who lost ground. WRINKLES received a slight check into the bend losing some momentum. LA VENTANA (3) ran wide on the home turn. LA VENTANA was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 3	Carol's T.A.B. Sprint - C0 - 295	BROOKE DAVIS (4) ran outwards in the early stages checking PISTOLS PRINCESS (5). TOKEN MUSCLES (6) ran sharply inwards in the early stages. In the back straight MOONLIGHT LAD (3) ran outwards checking PISTOLS PRINCESS as this pair were racing at the rear. BROOKE DAVIS and HOMEBUSH HOWARD (7) were tightened into the bend. MOONLIGHT LAD and PISTOLS PRINCESS ran wide on the home turn and in the straight.
Race 4	racingdogs.co.nz Maiden Final - C0f - 520	MERCEDES GOLD (3) and KNOW RIGHTS (4) were the last pair from the traps. ZIPPING JACOB (7) angled inwards into the first bend tightening PINT SIZED PIXIE (6) who lost ground and ran outwards pushing ZAHRA MOON (8) and MERCEDES GOLD over extra ground.
Race 5	Garrard's Horse & Hound Dash - C1 - 295	The track was downgraded to dead prior to this race which was delayed by one minute at the request of Raceday Control. PETRA HAKA (7) ran inwards in the back straight causing tightening to ELWOOD SENSATION (6), TWO WAYS (5), BLUEY RUFFERO (4) and ROYAL APACHE (2) who settled in the rear half of the field. ZULU MERCEDES (3) angled outwards off the hind quarters of PETRA HAKA on the home turn pushing KNOW LAUGHING (8) very wide.
Race 6	Dave Emerson Consultancy Stakes - C1 - 520	KNOW JUDGE (2) was a shade slow to jump. BIG JOHN CANON (6) was tightened into the first bend and ran outwards for a stride. LAGOON BELLE (7) was held up on the home turn and ran outwards coming together with CHILL OUT RALPH (3) and KNOW JUDGE with LAGOON BELLE losing momentum. On the home turn OPAWA JEAN (1) shifted outwards for a stride with NICKY NOIR (4) being slightly inconvenienced.
Race 7	Flair Sprint Final - C1f - 295	TURBO TUNDRA (1) and CAMRAY (4) were the last pair on jumping. PUMA PANTS (2) angled outwards in the early stages checking SARAH'S DOMAIN (3) with WEARS THE GOLD (5) and LOOK AT LUCY (6) being shifted wider on the track. HOMEBUSH ZANE (7) then ran inwards making solid contact with PUMA PANTS for a stride. WEARS THE GOLD angled outwards on the home turn coming together with LOOK AT LUCY. Late in the run home LOOK AT LUCY ran inwards tightening WEARS THE GOLD.
Race 8	Clarkson Sign Studio Stakes - C2 - 520	Into the first bend in a tightly compacted field TRUE BLUE STYLE (4) and SCOTSOME POWER (5) were both tightened with TAKE A TRICK (2) and CULVIE SPRITE (9) both receiving checks and dropping to the rear. This pair continued to jostle for a distance on the first bend losing more ground. TAKE A TRICK was referred to the vet for assessment and was free of any abnormality.
Race 9	Christchurch Casino Sprint - C1 - 295	NATE SCOTT (2) was last to jump. VEE MAN SPARKY (8) and GRAND APACHE (7) both angled inwards in the back straight causing tightening to MCJOPSON (4) and SUMMER LOVE (5) who lost ground. MCJOPSON and SUMMER LOVE tangled into the bend when racing at the rear. KENNY'S COMET (1) angled outwards on the bend pushing NATE SCOTT and CHAIMBO (3) wider on the track.
Race 10	Livamol Stakes Final - C1f - 520	JINJA COOKIE (8) was a clear last at the jump. LAGOON MAY (5) angled outwards in the run to the first bend causing STARBURST CLEMMY (7) to be checked and lose ground. LAGOON MAY then covered extra ground around that bend. PROTONIC PEDRO (2) raced in restricted room at the end of the back straight and lost momentum with KINLOCH ACTION (6) and JINJA COOKIE being inconvenienced.
Race 11	C.T.V. Sprint - C2 - 295	RED EYE MAX (5) and UNRELIABLE ANDY (8) were the last pair on settling. RED EYE MAX shifted up the track into the bend pushing UNRELIABLE ANDY wider. TOKEN RAY (6) was held up when finishing strongly in the run home and ran outwards when in the clear checking JACK'S A JEWEL (3) in the shadows of the post with JACK'S A JEWEL losing ground.
Race 12	Snow-e Muscle, Energy & Fertility Dash - C2 - 295	MARBELLA (8) was a clear last on jumping. OPAWA GOODIE (2) was tightened in the early stages losing ground. PHAT PANTS (6) was checked into the bend as CAWBOURNE BUTTSY (4) shifted up the track with PHAT PANTS losing ground. WONKEY DONKEY (7) was pushed wide in this incident. OPAWA GOODIE ran very wide on the home turn.
