Judicial report: GOLDSTAR JEANIE (J McInerney) and ARCHIE BALE (J McInerney) both completed satisfactory trials as required by Rule 81. JEMIMA TEE (R Adcock) was withdrawn from the C0 Final before the box draw suffering from kennel cough. MATTY HOOKY (J McInerney) had its endorsement cancelled pursuant to Rule 80.7 having completed 10 clear runs.

Race 1	SGRC WELCOME - C0 - 390	SMASH WHO (8) was a late scratching prior to kenneling with kennel cough. SACAJAWEA (6) was a clear last on jumping. PINT SIZED PIXIE (3) ran wide when improving on the home turn. EBONY STAR (10) dropped out to run a clear last with Trainer R Breen advising that this bitch would now be retired from racing.
Race 2	www.southlandgreyhounds.co.nz - C1 - 390	GLENN IS GOODSEY (2) and OPAWA LUCKY (7) were the last pair from the traps. MR. NOVEMBER (3) and ZULU MERCEDES (4) bumped for some strides in the back straight. Into the bend HOMEBUSH ERROL (8) angled inwards and came together with MR. NOVEMBER with HOMEBUSH ERROL losing ground. ZULU MERCEDES angled outwards on the bend pushing TONY'S CHOICE (5) over extra ground.
Race 3	HAPPY 50TH BIRTHDAY MARGARET TURNER - C1 - 390	This race was delayed by two minutes at the request of Raceday Control. LEIGH SERENE (9) was last to jump. TAI BAXTER (7) ran inwards in the early stages making firm contact with kennelmate MATTY HOOKY (3). MATTY HOOKY and BLAZING HOT (1) came together into the bend with TAI BAXTER being inconvenienced to their outside. STARBURST BENNY (8) ran very wide in the home straight.
Race 4	SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C1 - 457	SPEEDY SWEDE (5) was last to jump. HOMEBUSH CORAL (4) and THRILLING HUNT (6) collided for a stride in the early stages. JINJA POP (7) was keen to angle inwards in the back straight and combining with LAGOON MAY (1) wanting to shift up the track resulted in many dogs receiving interference with the worst affected being HOMEBUSH CORAL, SPEEDY SWEDE and JINJA POP. LAGOON MAY also lost ground in this incident and continued to race wide around the home turn.
Race 5	ADDED ENERGY DASH - C2 - 390	OPAWA LAZ (8) was last to jump. JACK'S A JEWEL (3) ran inwards in the initial stages tightening COVER TO COVER (2) and PUMA PANTS (1) for a few strides. STARBURST HANNAH (6) then ran inwards in the back straight coming together with COVER TO COVER. In the back straight JACK'S A JEWEL angled outwards pushing CAWBOURNE BUTTSY (4) and CHURCHILL CHASER (5) over extra ground. CHURCHILL CHASER got on heels in the early stages of the run home and lost ground.
Race 6	SUPPORT SHAUN DAVIDSON - C4 - 390	GO TOMMO (4) and OPAWA BART (8) were the last pair to jump. RINGA DING (2) was tightened into the bend and then got on the back of NO MORE BEERSIES (5) who had been pushed down the track by SWISS ACE (6) with NO MORE BEERSIES being badly dragged down and this pair dropping to the rear. SWISS ACE received a check on the home turn when getting on heels with this runner losing momentum. OPAWA BART was forced to change ground to get around SWISS ACE.
Race 7	givealittle.co.nz/cause/Shaunsfight - C3/4 - 457	CAWBOURNE FLOYD (9) was a touch slow to jump. BOTANY SEATON (5) and OPAWA WEBBY (6) bumped for a stride soon after the jump. JEWEL EAGLE (1) raced in restricted room into the bend losing ground and causing some inconvenience to the trailing CAWBOURNE FLOYD. CAPTAIN'S CHOICE (4) ran wide on the home turn and throughout the straight.
Race 8	Mervyn Eade Memorial Rookie Run Final - C0f - 457	HOMEBUSH HOWARD (7) ran inwards in the early stages dictating the line of VERBATIM (6) inwards. JINJA LOCH (3) ran outwards into the bend checking ANGEL D'OR (10) for a stride with JINJA LOCH continuing to race wide around the bend. VERBATIM and his sister ANGEL D'OR came together for a stride into the bend when well back.
Race 9	HAPPY BIRTHDAY RICHARD BREEN - C2 - 390	PRIMITIVE (3), TOKEN RAY (4) and SMASH AMY (8) were the last trio on settling. UNRELIABLE ANDY (2) ran inwards in the early stages dictating the line of OPAWA GOODIE (1) for some distance. CHLOE'S PRODIGY (5) was tightened into the bend and lost ground. ROCKWOOD ARCHIE (7) and TOKEN RAY both ran a touch wide into the bend. PRIMITIVE ran very wide down the home straight.
Race 10	BRENDON BURKE @ FIRST NATIONAL - C5 - 457	JINJARANGO (1) shifted outwards in the early stages placing OPAWA TOM (2) and DYNA FILBERT (3) in restricted room. OPAWA TOM attempted to run outwards into the bend tightening CAWBOURNE PHILIP (6) and BOTANY KEVIN (7). THRILLING MARTY (4) ran wide down the home straight.
Race 11	www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C3 - 390	NOT SO CUTE (8) ran inwards in the early stages and together with HOMEBUSH ROCKY (5) running outwards this ensured that JOHN DORY (6) and RAMBUNCTIOUS (7) were tightened with this pair losing ground.
Race 12	justracing.com.au - C5 - 390	IRISH BLUE (7) was last to jump. SMASH RUMOUR (6) ran outwards in the back straight checking IRISH BLUE for a stride. QUESTION BALE (4) ran inwards into the bend tightening HOMEBUSH CHOPPER (8), OPAWA COLIN (3) and MARY MARLOW (1) with HOMEBUSH CHOPPER losing ground and causing SMASH RUMOUR to check wide and lose many lengths. OPAWA COLIN was forced to cover extra ground on the home turn.
