Track: Good The track was presented in a very good racing condition ,all other equipment operated well through out the meeting
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: There were quite a few scratchings due to kennel cough today.

Race 1	Greyhounds As Pets C0 - C0 - 375	BOSTON THUNDER ( fav ) began awkwardly from box 5 stumbling almost going down on his nose, GOODTIME MIKE was checked at the start as TAKAMORI ran inwards . racing in to the first turn TAKAMORI was held up for a couple of strides ,wider out GOODTIME MIKE and BOSTON THUNDER were carted wide on to the bend as ICAHN angled out wide as he normally does forcing these runners to race wide and cover a fair amount of extra ground in the running . TAKAMORI made good ground along the inner across the top bend to finish best to win ,BOSTON THUNDER was unable to get back in to contention after being forced wide finished in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet as a precaution where no abnormalities were found.
Race 2	No Moore Hassell Petfoods C1 - C1 - 375	WORKING WORKING began awkwardly from box 2 stumbling for a stride and was then bumped as HOMEBUSH TED got in to stride. Racing in to the first turn MIGHTY BAXTER was tightened and checked back as COYOTE CAUGHT YA raced across pushing WHEELIE OVER IT in to the racing line of HOMEBUSH BAXTER, a couple of strides on MIGHTY BAXTER caught the heels of COYOTE CAUGHT YA as WHEELIE OVER IT ran out in to his racing line ,HOMEBUSH BAXTER lost several lengths and was unable to get in to contention there after. WHEELIE OVER IT raced widest across the top in to the home straight covering a lot of extra ground ,he finished strongly in the latter stages to finish in to 3rd placing at the line.
Race 3	www.pngreyhounds.kiwi C1 - C1 - 375	MEGA GIRL began awkwardly for a stride from box 7. racing in to the first turn SAM'S FLYIN NORM, MEGA GIRL, ANOTHER HUNTER ( fav ) and ELITE DOSE all came together being hampered for a couple of lengths ,SAM'S FLYIN NORM was the widest and recovered to finish in to 2nd placing at the line, ANOTHER HUNTER never got in to contention only battling in the run home to finish in 6th placing at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where a 14 day stand down was imposed
Race 4	Yella Mustard @ Stud C1 - C1 - 375	From the start OPAWA ROMEO ran in checking SECONDS GOOD and PHILEAS FOGG. DODGY POCKETS went up with the lids slightly .
Race 5	Grant Irvine Pharmacy C2 - C2 - 375	Racing in to the first turn SEMANTICS and ZAMADDIS LASS came together, in behind VINNIE BAXTER came in on to CAWBOURNE DOUST , soon after CAWBOURNE DOUST ran out in to the racing line of VINNIE BAXTER both dogs were hampered at this point.
Race 6	Creative Catering, Awapuni C1 - C1 - 457	MANU RAMA spread himself on leaving the boxes being last away by a wide margin ,he recovered to get in stride to chase the field to the line and was referred to the vet for assessment a 10 day stand down was imposed. PEACOCK PRINCESS ( fav ) and SARAH CAMPBELL bumped and jostled several times in the run to the first turn and around the top bend ,PEACOCK PRINCESS only battled in the run home finishing in 4th placing at the line.
Race 7	Steve The Auctioneer Davis C1 - C1 - 457	From the start AUCKLAND VENDING began awkwardly for a stride, then came out pushing NECTAR outwards as MISS SELFIES raced across checking LORD DE AIR , AUCKLAND VENDING and NECTAR were both checked back to the rear ,JOEY'S SECRET ran out bumping NECTAR a couple of strides on who lost more ground and was unable to get in to contention there after NECTAR was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 8	Personal Protection Services Ltd PN C3 - C3 - 375	From the jump KAZILLION ran across sharply checking MERCENARY .Racing on to the bend BEE RABBIT ran outwards taking TALK IT OVER and BARRY'S WAY on to the top bend
Race 9	Rose City Motel PN - C2 - 457	Racing in to the first bend GOLD STONE was hampered as ALLEGRO MAX racing to the lead angled inwards causing GOLD STONE to check out across heels running wide on to the top bend and was unable to improve there after finishing towards the rear.
Race 10	Livamol Stakes C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	Racing from the start ALLEGRO CLASS cannoned in to FASHION AND FAME who almost went down coming off the mats, soon after in the run to the first turn BIGTIME DASHER was pushed out on to the back of WEEPU who went sideways in to FASHION AND FAME who ran in to the shoulder of SPEED LEGEND ,WEEPU attempted to race through on the inner of FASHION AND FAME but caught this runner mid body ,FASHION AND FAME was jostled badly almost losing his footing in behind and going back towards the rear ,FASHION AND FAME was unable to improve there after finishing in 6th placing at the line . FASHION AND FAME was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 11	Outback Trading Company Ltd C5 - C5 - 375	STELLAR FORCE was best away held a slender lead in to the first turn ,ELLE PACKE Rand WHY OH WHY raced up on her inner ,STELLAR FORCE appeared to be checked slightly going back through the field resulting in RED MOOVA HOOVER running in to the back of WHY OH WHY pushing this runner in to STELLAR FORCE who went down on her haunches effectively falling at this point ,ALLEGRO MASTER on the outer of STELLAR FORCE ran in to the back of SIR RICHIE running out across his heels ,ahead of these runners RED MOOVA HOOVER ran in to the back of WHY OH WHY who ran out in to SIR RICHIE who was turned sideways and fell STELLAR FORCE and SIR RICHIE recovered their footing to finish on to the lure both runners were referred to the vet for assessment . STELLAR FORCE was stood down for 10 days with a toe laceration ,SIR RICHIE was stood down for 10 days with a pectoral muscle injury.
Race 12	JP Print, Petone C4 - C4 - 375	BAD WEEK was a late scratching at kennelling due to a right quadriceps tear a 21 day stand down was imposed. From the jump COSMIC FURY ran in sharply as EL JETTA ran outwards ,CAWBOURNE TIP on his outer ran out on to OPAWA LEAN MEAT all these runners tightened bumped and jostled for a couple of strides ,OPAWA LEAN MEAT was checked a few strides on going back to the rear and was unable to get back in to contention there after . KASIM from box 1 went straight to the lead and was never headed there after .
