Track: Good The track was presented in a good racing condition ,all other equipment operated well through out the meeting.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: Kettlewell/ Phillips partnership were fine $100-00 rule 69.11 after NOAKI HURRICANE weighed in at 31.7ksgs- 2.2 kgs up from last race start on 7-11-2014
There were 2 late scratchings today due to kennel cough.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C2 - C2 - 520	Coming off the mat CAWBOURNE WALES ran in bumping APPLAUSE racing in to the bend first time ALLEGRO MAX got on the heels of APPLAUSE ,both dogs were checked ,applause ran outwards forcing ALLEGRO MAX widest around the bend in to the back straight ALLEGRO MAX recovered well to make good ground in to 3rd placing at the line NOAKI HURRICANE was 2.2 kgs up in weight from his last start on 7-11-2104 and raced in the rear throughout ,he was referred to the vet as a precaution where he was found to have a stopper pad injury with a 10 day stand down imposed. N Phillips Trainer could offer no explanation for the weight increase ,the dog was vetted clear to race.
Race 2	www.RacingTips.co.nz C3 - C3 - 305	Soon after the start WAR ON TERROR ( fav ) crossed out over heels coming together with ANOTHER DRINK, VICKI'S QUEST angled inwards on to AZURE DREAMS checking PORKY PIG who ran out across the heels of WAR ON TERROR and VICKI'S QUEST,PORKY PIG was then forced back in towards the rail. Racing in to the bend WAR ON TERROR was hampered and pushed wide as PORKY PIG changed ground outwards attempting to improve, both these runners covered a bit of extra ground across the top finishing in the midfield at the line. ANOTHER DRINK was referred to the vet for assessment at the handlers request where a 21 day stand down was imposed
Race 3	J P PRINT (PETONE) C3 - C3 - 305	Coming off the mat WINFIELD AUTUMN angled inwards pushing HANNIBAL LECTER in on to JILL SPRITE, VISION AND POWER and REGINA HAKA were both checked and tightened back to the rear racing across the top bend HANNIBAL LECTER racing handy caught the heels of JILL SPRITE and went back stumbling slightly running in to REGINA HAKA, both these runners lost momentum and some ground finishing in the rear at the line.
Race 4	THE DOGZONE C2/3 - C2/3 - 520	Racing to the first bend RED CRYSTAL crossed inwards forcing JELLY GEM on to BIGTIME KAZ ( fav ) who went back almost to the rear, BIGTIME KAZ made good ground along the inner to finish in to 3rd placing at the line, JELLY GEM was unable to improve much there after finishing in 6th placing at the line.
Race 5	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITUION C4 - C4 - 305	From the jump BIG FAT GYPSY ran across on to KASIM ,wider out BEE RABBIT, SWEET LIES and ALL IN ALL came together bumping & jostling for a couple of strides . Racing in to the first turn KASIM was held up for some strides when attempting to improve in to the body of the field. Racing on to the top bend SWEET LIES and BEE RABBIT were forced to race wide around runners when attempting to improve how ever could not sustain the run finishing towards the rear at the line.
Race 6	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD C4 - C4 - 305	In the run to the first turn there was jostling and bumping in behind the leader between FIGLIA, SHEIK 'EM UP and MATILDA'S BABE ,MATILDA'S BABE was pushed outwards as BAD WEEK raced across as did COSMIC FURY, MATILDA'S BABE and SHEIK 'EM UP were checked back to the rear and were unable to get back in to contention there after finishing in the rear at the line.
Race 7	Wanganui Derby Ht 1 R/A - R/Aq - 520 Heat 1	DREAM COLLECTER ( fav ) missed the jump and soon after was bumped as CEASAR CHANCE raced across ,DREAM COLLECTER did not quicken racing in to the first bend and went off stride soon after pulling up at the home turn . DREAM COLLECTER was referred to the vet where a 42 day stand down was imposed for a suspected fracture of the right hock. On the home turn ALWAYS WELCOME was making good ground towards the leader when CEASAR CHANCE ducked out across the heels of WEEPU checking ALWAYS WELCOME who lost some momentum finishing in to 3rd placing at the line.
Race 8	Wanganui Derby Ht 2 R/A - R/Aq - 520 Heat 2	LOCHINVAR MAUI ( A Turnwald )was a late scratching mid morning due to the effects of kennel cough. FASHION AND FAME led through out to win in a very good time ,the dog was nominated to be swabbed after which the handler requested a vet check on the dog with concerns of sand burns . The vet Mr M Jansen could find no injury concerns with this dog and was vetted all clear ,this dog is in a field at Manawatu on Monday.
Race 9	THE ROCK 5.2FM - C2 - 305	BOSTON LIGHTNING ( fav ) missed the jump being last away by several lengths ,he attempted to improve in to the field on several occasions in the run to the home turn but was forced to check off heels losing momentum and was unable to get in to contention finishing towards the rear at the line . Racing in to the first turn REBEL JOE was tightened and jostled losing ground back to the rear and was unable to get back in to contention finishing in the rear at the line . BOSTON LIGHTNING was observed to be walking a bit short on returning to the kennel block and was referred to the vet for assessment after being examined the dog was cleared of injury.
Race 10	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C5 - C5 - 305	ALL THE MILK was a late scratching at kennelling when found to be showing signs of kennel cough WHITEY'S GONE stumbled coming off the mat being last away by several lengths, wider out JUST A BOY and ANGELIC STAR collided, both dogs lost momentum for a stride or so . racing in to the first bend JUST A BOY was forced to check off the back of ANGELIC STAR as this runner cross inwards ,JUST A BOY crossed out over the heels of ANGELIC STAR and YA LAUGHIN' running very wide on to the top bend and was unable to get back in to contention finishing in last placing at the line.
Race 11	CHRISTMAS AT THE RACES 5TH 12TH & 19TH DECEMBER C5 - C5 - 305	Soon after the start ALLEGRO MASTER came out on to ZEDIDIAH as ENAZUMA came in, ZEDIDIAH was checked back, wider out FREEDOM FLYER angled across pushing SIR RICHIE in ,FREEDOM FLYER ran in to ENAZUMA and went sideways, SIR RICHIE was checked back and ran in across heels running in to ZEBADIAH who was checked again losing ground back to a clear last in the running and was unable to improve there after.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C5 - C5 - 305	CAWBOURNE PORSHE began awkwardly from box 3 stumbling and becoming unbalanced for a couple of strides and was unable to get in to contention there after. STELALR FORCE was first away with a slender lead to the first turn NGAURUHOE arced up on her inner as ALLEGRO CHASER improved to the lead, ALL IN BERLIN wider out improved angling inwards on to STELLAR FORCE tightening her in between runners, STELLAR FORCE was jostled and tightened for several strides and ran out room losing ground back to midfield and only battled in the run in to 5th placing at the line.
