| Race 1 | Plaster Board Ltd Sprint - C3 - 318 | HOT KING COLE (2), FESTIVAL MISS (4) and CHARLIE'S FUNDS (8) were last to leave the boxes. FESTIVAL MISS shifted out soon after the start making contact with the hindquarters of BOSS APPEAL (6) who was shifting in with both runners momentarily unbalanced. THIS TIME PEDRO (1) and FANCY MY LUCK (3) came together racing down the back straight with these runners then shifting out slightly making contact with BOSS APPEAL. Racing into the first turn these three runners continued to make contact with CHARLIE'S FUNDS then shifting in taking LOCKETT IN EDDIE (7) in onto these runners with all runners becoming unbalanced. Also inconvenienced as a result was FESTIVAL MISS who got on these runners heels before having to shift out, losing ground. The connections of THIS TIME PEDRO (1), who presented with a 1.8kg increase in weight, advised this was an intentional increase. |
| Race 2 | AGRC Rewards Sprint - C0 - 318 | FOUND MY BERRIES (2) and ROCKETSHIP MAC (6) were slow away. Soon after laving the boxes OUT OF TROUBLE (7) and ROCKETSHIP MAN were tightened when MYSTIC NITE (8) shifted in and DAISY (10) shifted out with all these runners coming together for a distance racing down the back straight with DAISY and OUT OF CONTROL losing ground. ROCKETSHIP MAN shifted in making contact with the hindquarters of PINETREE BLUE (9) racing into the first turn. FOUND MY BERRIES then shifted out making solid contact with PINETREE BLUE, with PINETREE BLUE then getting on this runners heels. Also badly hampered as a result were OUT OF TROUBLE and MISTIK NITE with all involved runners unbalanced losing ground. FOUND MY BERRIES was referred to the vet for assessment with no abnormality revealed. MYSTIC NITE was referred to the on course veterinarian with a an injury to the left long head triceps detected and a 42 day stand down imposed. |
| Race 3 | Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C1 - 318 | CARTER CASH (5), JETSUN STORM (6) and HEY JIMMY (7) were all slow away with CARTER CASH and JETSUN STORM then coming together. HEY JIMMY then shifted in making contact with CARTER CASH with both runners momentarily unbalanced. MISS RAZZ (2) and ASIA OSTEE (8) came together racing into the first turn. Rounding the final bend HEY JIMMY shifted out into the line of CARTER CASH who was inconvenienced. |
| Race 4 | Greater Auckland Chorus Fundraiser 20th Nov Sprint - C2 - 318 | EZ FERETTI (1) was slow away. Soon after the start NO MORE LAUGHTER (8) made contact with the hindquarters of BEHEMOTH (9) who shifted out slightly. Racing down the back straight MEMBERS ONLY (5) shifted in dictating ROCKY BOY (2) inwards and into the line of EZ FERETTI who then shifted out abruptly. Entering the first turn ROSA GALLICA (8) and ASTA (9) angled in into the line of BELFAST JANE and EZ FERETTI who came together losing ground. Rounding the bend ASTA shifted out off the heels of ROSA GALLICA. |
| Race 5 | Greyhound Function Centre Sprint - C1 - 318 | PEETA MELLARK was a late scratching on veterinary advice at 12.35pm. MARLENE'S TERRA (3) and BIGTIME CHAI (4) were slow away losing several lengths. MADAM RAZOR (1) and SHELBY KING (2) came together entering the first turn with both runners becoming briefly unbalanced and MADAM RAZOR losing ground as a result. |
| Race 6 | $10,000 Guaranteed Triple Trio Stakes - C1 - 527 | ARTIC ROUGE (1) began awkwardly shifting in, losing ground. CAWBOURNE PENNY (2), ATOONGA AIR (5) and SPUD MISSILE (7) were all slow away. OPAWA PEARL (6) shifted in leaving the boxes. Racing toward the first turn ARTIC ROUGE raced in restricted room to the inside of CAWBOURNE PENNY, coming together with this runner, before shifting out across this runners heels rounding the first turn. MITIGATOR (3) and SPUD MISSILE came together entering the first turn. |
| Race 7 | Trophies Plus Stakes - C2 - 527 | KING'S LEGACY (1) and THRILLING REBEL (5) were slow away. KING'S LEGACY and THRILLING REBEL came together racing toward the first turn with both runners briefly unbalanced losing ground. Racing into the first turn LUCKY MAN (7), BELRANI (6), MI TI PA (3) and VERY CHILLY (2) all came together with all runners becoming unbalanced, with LUCKY MAN turned sideways and the unbalanced BELRANI getting on the hindquarters of LUCKY MAN who fell. LUCKY MAN recovered to finish the race some distance from the field. LUCKY MAN and BELRANI were referred to the on course veterinarian for assessment with a 14 stand down imposed on LUCKY MAN for a wound and bruising. There were no abnormalities detected on BELRANI. KING'S LEGACY and THRILLING REBEL came together rounding the first turn. |
| Race 8 | Carol's TABS Sprint - C5 - 318 | VIVA VANE (1), FANCY INVADER (2) and ROTOVEGAS DOT (4) were all slow away. Racing toward the first turn VIVA VANE and FANCY INVADER came together. Entering the first turn HARVEY NICHOLS (3) became unbalanced shifting out hampering LOCHINVAR BLAZE (5) who stumbled and fell. Inconvenienced as a result of the fallen runner was FANCY INVADER. Entering the final straight GAINSFORD (6) shifted out across the heels of HULA MOOLA (8). LOCHINVAR BLAZE was referred to the veterinarian for assessment which revealed no obvious abnormality. |
| Race 9 | Sel's TAB Mangere Stakes - C4 - 527 | THREAT (5), JETSUN QUAKER (6) and UP THERE HERBIE (7) were slow away. Soon after the start THREAT, JETSUN QUAKER and UP THERE HERBIE were tightened when JELLY GEM (8) shifted in and KIKI RHODE (4) shifted out with these runners all coming together. After racing in the lead over the early and middle stages CARUBA QUEEN gradually gave ground racing toward final bend to finish at the rear of the field. A post race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality. The connections of CARUBA QUEEN advised it was now their intention to return the bitch to shorter distance races. |
| Race 10 | Gary Donovan Memorial Sprint Final - C5f - 318 | Soon after leaving the boxes BRIGHT STAR (6) was hampered losing ground when ROTOVEGAS RARA (7) and LITTLE RASCAL (5) made solid contact with all runners unbalanced as a result. LITTLE RASCAL then made contact with the hindquarters of QUICK CAT (4). DANATO (3) became uncomfortable in its action racing toward the first turn, giving ground for the remainder of the race to finish some distance from the field. A post race veterinary examination revealed pain in the right long head triceps with a 60 day stand down imposed. BRIGHT STAR was unbalanced shifting out after making contact with the hindquarters of ROTOVEGAS RAT (2) who was crowded behind QUICK CAT who was angling in and DANATO who was giving ground. ROTOVEGAS RAT then made contact with the hindquarters of QUICK CAT who shifted out slightly dictating LITTLE RASCAL wider with ROTOVEGAS RAT then getting on the heels of ROTOVEGAS RARA (7) who was also inconvenienced with ROTOVEGAS RARA, ROTOVEGAS RAT and BRIGHT STAR losing ground as a result. |
| Race 11 | Lochinvar Marlow Stakes - C3 - 527 | KITTY'S SHIRAZ (4), ELEPHANT TRUNK (5), JONESY'S FORTUNE (6) and YES NO MAYBE (8) were slow away. Soon after leaving the boxes THRILLING DYNAMO (1) and MRS. PUNTING came together with MRS. PUNTING (2) then shifting out entering the first turn coming together with JONESY'S FORTUNE before making contact with YES NO MAYBE with all runners momentarily unbalanced and MRS. PUNTING and JONESY'S FORTUNE losing ground as a result. Rounding the final bend ELEPHANT TRUNK and YES NO MAYBE came together on several occasions. |
| Race 12 | Deli's Sports Bar Clendon Inn Sprint - C4 - 318 | LITTLE DREAMS (6) and RENROY (7) came together soon after leaving the boxes. LITTLE DREAMS then made contact with STYLISH FANCY (4) who had shifted out. FEEL THE VIBE (1) and CALM NUSKA (2) came together racing toward the first turn with CALM NUSKA losing ground. Rounding the bend CALM NUSKA came together with ENGLISH HONEY (3) losing ground. |
