GUMMY GUMPSTA checked over the back of BOTANY CHRIS going into the bend and shifted out abruptly causing checks to RADIO CALL, LEROY JETHRO and HOMEBUSH MAGIC which were forced wide and they lost ground and stayed back to finish in the last three places. |

| Race 3 | Grant Irvine Pharmacy C1 - C1 - 375 | CLASSY ZARA shifted in going to the first corner and placed CAWBOURNE JOSH and WINE TIME in restricted room and they jostled together for some distance and eventually lost their positions, went back to near the rear and never recovered. |
| Race 4 | No Moore Hassell Petfoods, Levin C1 - C1 - 375 | WHEELIE OVER IT was slow to begin losing a length. GOLFING BUDDY began awkwardly and shifted in to make contact with THRILLING MIGHT and they both lost momentum. THRILLING MIGHT shifted in and checked WHEELIE OVER IT going into the bend and WHEELIE OVER IT then shifted out and raced wide covering extra ground. SOME GENES shifted in on the bend and checked GOLFING BUDDY which lost ground and GOLFING BUDDY was again checked entering the home straight when avoiding the heels of SOME GENES. |

| Race 6 | Racing Series Graduation Heat 1 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 1 | ALLEGRO MAX was the slowest to begin but was quickly into stride and went on to win the race with ease. APPLAUSE shifted out from the start and bumped firmly with BARRY'S WAY and lost momentum briefly. OPULENT shifted in and checked off the back of SHINZIGZAG going into the bend and lost two lengths. |
| Race 7 | Racing Series Graduation Heat 2 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 2 | OPAWA JAY began awkwardly losing two lengths but the secured a clear inside run and finished well for 2nd place. BOTANY DAVE shifted in going into the bend and forced TEN POINT ONE onto the line of OPAWA CASSIDY which was checked and went back onto BIGTIME KAZ and they both lost ground. ROCKY BAXTER was tightened and checked going to the first turn when racing between TEN POINT ONE and BOTANY DAVE and ROCKY BAXTER went back to the rear. ROCKY BAXTER was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have abrasions and bruising to a hock. |
| Race 8 | Racing Series Graduation Heat 3 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 3 | OPAWA TOKEN was observed to be lame while parading to the start and was declared a late scratching and found to have a muscle soreness behind the shoulder. DASHER RUM led early in the race but was bumped by THOU ROMEO and a short distance further on, was bumped by MARIAH and he went back to the rear and remained there to the finish of the race. |
| Race 9 | Creative Catering, Awapuni C3 - C3 - 375 | ACAPELLA and SEMANTICS shifted ground soon after the start and they bumped together losing momentum and they drifted to the rear and never recovered. |

| Race 12 | Outback Trading Company Ltd C4/5 - C4/5 - 457 | CAWBOURNE CROUCH was the slowest to begin but quickly recovered and after gaining a clear inside run, he finished well to win the race. TIFINO and CAESAR CHANCE were bumped and forced wide going into the bend. |
