| Race 1 | PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION CO - C0 - 305 | GUMMY GUMPSTA and HOMEBUSH OLIVE were slow to begin and settled back. Approaching the straight entrance, GUMMY GUMPSTA shifted out and made contact with THRILLING ORLA and they both became unbalanced as they shifted out and jostled together and they lost all chance. A short distance further on in the straight, THRILLING ORLA and SCOTT MY MONEY also collided and lost their momentum and finished near the rear. On the home turn, SCOTT MY MONEY checked over the back of DOGGED DENNIS and shifted out to collide with DAZZLING DI which was severely checked and went off stride. DAZZLING DI finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have shoulder bruising. |
| Race 2 | LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305 | TASHA RAMA and OPEHU FLYER shifted ground when the start was made and ZAMADDIS LASS which was in between those two was checked and settled back. TASHA RAMA and MACGYVER RAMA both checked over the heels of HOMEBUSH DAWN going into the bend and they bumped together and became briefly unbalanced and lost ground. |
| Race 3 | WANGANUI CHRONICLE C2 - C2 - 305 | WINFIELD AUTUMN shifted in going into the first corner and checked MANU RAMA which lost ground. ANOTHER FANTASY and LEGEND BEE raced wide covering extra ground on the bend. |
| Race 4 | NZ Racing Series Novice Stakes Ht1 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 1 | OPAWA BRO began awkwardly and settled at the rear and he stayed back throughout te race. COYOTE CAUGHT YA was handy in 2nd place going into the back straight but was checked from behind losing several lengths and he never recovered and finished in 2nd last place. |
| Race 5 | NZ Racing Series Novice Stakes Ht2 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 2 | Two of the better supported runners TOKEN KAY and LORD DE AIR were a little slow to begin and settled back. LORD DE AIR was then checked going into the first turn when bumped from the inside by OPAWA JACKIE andshe lost three lengths and never recovered. TOKEN KAY was checked entering the back striaght when NORMAN JEWEL shifted ground when just ahead and TOKEN KAY lost three lengths. |
| Race 6 | NZ Racing Series Novice Stakes Ht3 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 3 | HOMEBUSH CORAL and OPAWA MESSINI jostled together for a short distance going into the first bend and they lost ground and went back to the rear and never recovered the lost ground. |
| Race 7 | NZ Racing Series Novice Stakes Ht4 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 4 | OPAWA LACHLAN was checked when the start was made when PUMA PANTS shifted out and OPAWA LACHLAN went back to near the rear. OPAWA LACHLAN was again checked going into the first corner when racing onto the back of HOMEBUSH TITAN and he stayed back for the remainder of the race to finish in last place. MEGA GIRL shifted in going to the first corner and inconvenienced OLLIE BAXTER and PUMA PANTS for a short distance. |
| Race 8 | NZ Racing Series Novice Stakes Ht5 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 5 | FERGIE'S BELLE shifted in soon after the start and caused checks to MEGA JET and GOLDSTAR FRANKIE which were both unbalanced and lost a length. FERGIE'S BELLE continued to shift in and made contact with OPAWA PAUL and fell but regained her feet and finished onto the lure. FERGIE'S BELLE was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have pectoral muscle pain on both sides. WALL AGE made firm contact with the rail going into the first bend and shifted out, colliding with OPAWA PAUL and they were both unbalanced for a short distance. WALL AGE was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. |
| Race 9 | NZ Racing Series Novice Stakes Ht6 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 6 | OPAWA GAVIN and TIME FOR WHAT were slow to begin and settled back. SPUD MISSILE and GOSSIP QUEEN bumped together going into the first bend and they both lost momentum for a short distance. SHADOW BAXTER and BOTANY CHRIS jostled together for some distance on the first bend and they eventually checked losing several lengths and stayed back to finish in the rear group. |
| Race 10 | NZ Racing Series Novice Stakes Ht7 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 7 | LITTLE PROPHET shifted in going into the first corner and checked TE MAARI STYLE which lost three lengths. LITTLE PROPHET then continued to shift in and made contact with OPAWA BORN and LITTLE PROPHET was checked and lost two lengths. HOMEBUSH GINGER and WEARS THE GOLD were checked going into the final bend losing several lengths and they never recovered and finished at the rear. |
| Race 11 | THE ROCK 95.2FM C3 - C3 - 305 | OUR JACK ATTACK shifted out soon after the start and checked CRYSTAL WAVE which lost ground. OUR JACK ATTACK continued to shift out and collided with EMBEE DEE going into the bend and OUR JACK ATTACK was checked and went back to last and finished in that position. |

He then galloped onn the back of CAWBOURNE RAVE in the back straight and they both lost three lengths and they never recovered the lost ground. RUN STACEY RUN started from box 8 and was observed to ease going into the bend losing several lengths and she stayed back to finish several lengths last. RUN STACEY RUN was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to be suffering from cramp and pectoral muscle soreness. RUN STACEY RUN was stood down for 21 days and is required to complete a satisfactory trial under Rule 81.1 before next racing. |
