Judicial report: ZULU CHANEL (C Roberts) and VEE MAN SPARKY (Matt Roberts) completed satisfactory trials as required by Rule 81. VEE MAN SPARKY completed its trial in blinkers and they will be worn in future engagements. Trainer C Roberts was fined $50.00 as per the Minor Infringements Table after admitting a breach of Rule 71.4 in that he failed to arrange a catcher for EARN ME SOME following Race 1.

Race 1	Power Farming Canterbury Stakes - C1 - 520	TANTO'S WHISPER (6) and DARCY BRASCO (8) were the last pair on jumping with DUSTY RIDER (1) and AXEL GRINDER (2) also slow to find their paws. TANTO'S WHISPER ran wide around the first bend. AXEL GRINDER lost contact with the body of the field in the back straight finishing a clear last with this dog being referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 2	David Emerson Consultancy Stakes - C1 - 520	This race was delayed by two minutes at the request of Raceday Control. BIG JOHN CANON (1) and SOUMILLON (4) were the last pair at the jump. BOTANY LIZ (3) angled outwards a touch in the early stages placing HOMEBUSH GINGER (9) in restricted room with this runner contacting CAWBOURNE STEVE (6) and YOU'RE SO FREE (7) to its outside. HOMEBUSH SPOOK (8) was also inconvenienced in this incident. On the first bend HOMEBUSH GINGER, CAWBOURNE STEVE and HOMEBUSH SPOOK all jostled for a few strides losing momentum.
Race 3	2014 Super Pets Galaxy Heat 1 - C5q - 295 Heat 1	GO TOMMO (5) and PLAGIARISM (7) were the slowest from the traps. POPSOME TAGS (8) ran inwards in the back straight checking SPRINKLES (6). This dog then checked off SMASH RUMOUR (4) and dropped to the rear. PLAGIARISM ran wide into the bend. HETFIELD (1) faltered on the home turn and dropped out with this dog being referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 4	2014 Super Pets Galaxy Heat 2 - C5q - 295 Heat 2	BLUE REVIEW (9) was a shade slow to jump. BLUE REVIEW then angled inwards into the bend checking MY MATE SPARROW (1) who dropped to the rear.
Race 5	2014 Super Pets Galaxy Heat 3 - C5q - 295 Heat 3	ONLY GOT TIME (1), IRISH BLUE (2) and ON THE LEVEL (5) were the last trio on jumping. INSPECTOR SPOT (7) ran inwards in the early stages dictating the line of WANDY GAYLENE (6) and ADROIT (4) inwards. GUS (8) raced wide around the home turn. The proposed swab on the winner NO LEAF CLOVER (3) was abandoned after veterinarian D Matheson reported that he was unable to take urine from this dog after several attempts.
Race 6	2014 Super Pets Galaxy Heat 4 - C5q - 295 Heat 4	BILLY WEST (4), BUMP (7) and GOLDSTAR CHUMLEE (8) were the last trio to jump. KNOW ADVANTAGE (2) was tightened into the bend and lost ground.
Race 7	2014 Super Pets Galaxy Heat 5 - C5q - 295 Heat 5	RODRIGUEZ (3) was last to jump. IONA HAKA (6) was tightened between ANGELIC STAR (7) and LAREDO (5) in the initial stages and dropped to the rear. LAST EXPLORER (2) ran outwards in the back straight and came together with LAREDO for a stride. LAST EXPLORER and RODRIGUEZ were both held up on the bend losing momentum. ALDONZA (8) ran wide on the home turn.
Race 8	2014 Super Pets Galaxy Heat 6 - C5q - 295 Heat 6	CHARLIE'S CHOICE (4) was last to jump. SUPER ROOSTER (6) ran inwards on dispatch checking KNOW JEALOUSY (5) who lost ground. Into the bend SUPER ROOSTER was dragged down for a stride and ran outwards pushing CALL ME BLUE (8) wide on the track with both runners losing momentum. Stewards requested a veterinary check of SUPER ROOSTER that revealed some scratches where the dog had been contacted but these were superficial and no stand down was considered necessary.
Race 9	2014 Super Pets Galaxy Heat 7 - C5q - 295 Heat 7	KERAMUS (2) was last to jump. RED HOT FURY (7) ran inwards into the bend tightening WUNZEE (6) and BOSTON BLAZE (4) with this pair losing ground. RED HOT FURY ran wide on the home turn.
Race 10	2014 Super Pets Galaxy Heat 8 - C5q - 295 Heat 8	CLONE YOUR OWN (6) was last to jump. Into the bend PEARL'S BOY (1), BIG JAMESY (2), MER DE NOMS (4) and OHOKA COBY (5) were all badly tightened as outside runners crossed inwards with this quartet losing their chances.
Race 11	2014 Super Pets Galaxy Heat 9 - C5q - 295 Heat 9	CAWBOURNE JELLY (4) was last to jump. SMASH THAT (5) ran outwards in the early stages causing checks to LITTLE MIDNIGHT (7) and ANGEL NOIR (8) with LIFE'S A LAUGH (6) being tightened in between these runners. CAWBOURNE JELLY shifted up the track on the home turn forcing LITTLE MIDNIGHT to switch to the inside and causing LIFE'S A LAUGH to lose momentum.
Race 12	2014 Super Pets Galaxy Heat 10 - C5q - 295 Heat 10	WILL EXCITE (4) was last to jump. BLACK CROW (8) was dragged down for a stride into the bend with SOPHIE'S TERRA (7) losing momentum on her outside and DRYSDALE (5) and WANDY GRANT (1) being pushed over extra ground. FIREMAN'S LEGACY (6) was held up in this incident and lost ground. On the home turn SOPHIE'S TERRA angled inwards checking BLACK CROW who lost ground forcing WILL EXCITE to check outwards.
