| Race 1 | HALF A PENNY - C0 - 390 | EBONY STAR was 2.1kg below its previous racing weight which was in excess of 28 days ago. Trainer R Breen advised it was an intentional weight reduction in an attempt to improve EBONY STAR'S racing performance. PRINCELY COUNT was slow to begin. TUI TIME jumped inwards sharply at the jump making heavy contact with HOMEBUSH NAKI which blundered after HOMEBUSH NAKI struck HOMEBUSH FLYTE on its inside. OZARKS DAUGHTER and SCARY CANARY made contact over the early stages. On the bend LIL DANNY RASCAL ran outwards forcing OZARKS DAUGHTER wider on the track. EBONY STAR and OZARKS DAUGHTER ran wide in the home straight. |
| Race 2 | USER FRIENDLY - C0 - 390 | HOMEBUSH FINE jumped inwards sharply at the start making contact with FEAR MARINA. As a result WAIRIO DEE JAY which drew inside HOMEBUSH FINE was slow to begin. WAIRIO DEE JAY shifted outwards in the run to the bend making contact with HOMEBUSH INQUIRY. HOMEBUSH FINE checked off the heels of HOMEBUSH NARK on the bend. WAIRIO DEE JAY and HOMEBUSH INQUIRY both ran wide on the bend and in the home straight. |
| Race 3 | LADY TUNGSTEN - C1 - 390 | Shortly after the jump TEE TIME checked off the heels of CHARLES FREDRICK becoming unbalanced and losing ground. Into the turn CHARLES FREDRICK was tightened as STARBURST BENNY shifted inwards and went backwards inconveniencing the trailing TEE TIME. |
| Race 4 | DISCO FEVER - C1 - 390 | At the jump MATTY HOOKY lost momentum when tightened by WEARS THE GOLD who was dictated downwards by OPAWA RABBIT. Into the turn COLLECTING MONEY when improving along the rail was checked by MATTY HOOKY and subsequently bumped by TURBO TUNDRA before tailing off to finish a distant last. TURBO TUNDRA was referred to the veterinarian for assessment which revealed no abnormalities. |
| Race 5 | BLACK DELIGHT - C1 - 390 | GLENN IS GOODSEY jumped awkwardly and lost several lengths. Just prior to the home straight SAILORS COLLAR ran wide and then MILLIE"S BOY checked off CAWBOURNE CRUZE with the trailing GLENN IS GOODSEY also checked. |
| Race 6 | MISS STRESSFUL - C3/4 - 390 | INCREASING, ON THE LEVEL and CAPTAIN'S CHOICE all made contact through the early stages. Racing into the bend CAPTAIN'S CHOICE, CHOKAHOLD and GO TOMMO all raced in restricted room with GO TOMMO being checked. |
| Race 7 | AWESOME DEEJAY - C2 - 390 | NOT SURE CUTE shifted inwards at the start dictating SMASH AMY and PHAT PANTS inwards. NOT SO CUTE continued to shift inwards checking SHEZ KEEN which lost its momentum. On the point of the bend SHEZ KEEN was struck on the hind quarters by NOT SO CUTE which was crowded inwards by JASPER HAKA and ROCKWOOD ARCHIE. ROCKWOOD ARCHIE ran wide on the bend. Following the race SHEZ KEEN was referred to the veterinarian for assessment with a puncture wound to the left fore carpus and a 7 day stand down recommended. |
| Race 8 | RED KINK - C0 - 457 | HOMEBUSH HOWARD and WRINKLES were slow to jump. In the run to the turn LOTS OF BEERSIES shifted ground inwards checking HOMEBUSH GRU. |
| Race 9 | WAIMATUA JIM - C1 - 457 | From the jump THRILLING HUNT ran inwards checking HOMEBUSH SPOOK. TOKEN RAY was slow to jump and ran wide rounding the bend. Into the home straight THRLLING HUNT shifted ground inwards and checked BOTANY JOHN who became unbalanced and lost ground. |
| Race 10 | BAGDAD TOKEN - C1/2 - 457 | OPAWA RAPID and OPAWA MAGORIE buffeted one another shortly after the jump. OPAWA HALLY checked off the back of BOTANY RICHIE approaching the bend. |
| Race 11 | THRILLING MARTY - C3 - 457 | OPAWA IDOL and JESSIE SURFS made contact at the start with OPAWA IDOL becoming unbalanced and scrambling. FLYING MOE shifted outwards over the early stages resulting in PUNCH ON JAIME being tightened for room between FLYING MOE and CHLOE'S PRODIGY. FLYING MOE and CHLOE'S PRODIGY continued to bump one another in the run to the bend. JESSIE SURFS and OPAWA SAM both buffeted one another on several occasions in the run to the bend. On the bend OPAWA ROCKY shifted inwards on the bend tightening JESSIE SURFS. As a result OPAWA SAM checked off their heels and ran wide on the bend. |
