Race 1 Super Pets Dash - C1 - 295 ARCHIE'S TIME (4) angled outwards on dispatch tightening WANDY MILLAH (5) and GOLDSTAR DEEJAY (6) who both dropped to the rear. ARCHIE'S TIME then checked outwards into the bend and into the path of RUNWAY QUEEN (9) who fell. On the home turn WANDY MILLAH checked outwards as GOLDSTAR DEEJAY angled to the rail. HOMEBUSH SPIKE (3) shifted up the track in the run home pushing KENNY'S COMET (7) wider on the track. The faller RUNWAY QUEEN was referred to the vet for assessment and was cleared of any injury.

Race 3 Bill's Bar & Bistro Stakes - C1 - 520 TANTO'S WHISPER (7) weighed in 2.1 kgs above its last race weight in July with the dog's new co-trainer J Jopson advising that this was a planned weight increase. TANTO'S WHISPER was a clear last on jumping. JEWEL APACHE (4) and PADDY BAXTER (5) bumped together twice in the run to the first bend with PADDY BAXTER losing ground. OPAWA JACKIE (6) and KNOW SMIGGLE (8) both received checks on the first bend and lost momentum with TANTO'S WHISPER forced wide around these runners. CAMRAY (7) then ran inwards colliding with FANTA'S FEVER. LUMINARY ran very wide on the home turn losing ground. Stewards requested a post race veterinary check of LUMINARY. When questioned in regards to the vastly improved performance of the winner OPAWA GOODIE (6), co-trainer J Lane reported that the bitch was able to get handy today in the early stages thanks to runners on either side of her receiving checks and that when she races handy with an uninterrupted run she shows good speed and is hard to run down.
Race 5 Clarkson Sign Studio Stakes - C1 - 520 MASSAGE ONLY (8) was last to jump. OPAWA JEAN (4) got on heels into the first bend and lost some momentum.
Race 6 Garrard's Horse And Hound Sprint - C1 - 295 TOO MUCH REBEL (2), ARCHIE'S COMET (5) and MONACO DENVER (6) were the last trio on settling. Late in the home straight ROYAL APACHE angled inwards placing ARCHIE'S COMET in restricted room.
Race 7 Power Farming Canterbury Stakes - C1 - 520 Tightening and jostling in the early stages caused KINLOCH SILVER (5), OPAWA PAUL (3) and SHADOW BAXTER (4) to lose ground and settle at the rear. Into the first bend SOUMILLON (1) angled marginally outwards causing slight inconvenience to OPAWA DOSH (6) and COME ON DOLLY (7).
