Judicial report: QUESTION BALE (J McInerney) completed a satisfactory trial in accordance with Rule 81. Co-Trainer J Jopson was fined $50 as per the Minor Infringement Table after admitting a breach of Rule 71.2 when late to retrieve QUE TEE PIX from the kennels for Race 5.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C3 - 295	JOHN DORY (5) and HANNA THE SPANNA (7) bumped at the start. BLUE REVIEW (8) shifted down the track in the early stages and came together with HANNA THE SPANNA (7) and JOHN DORY (5). Racing into the bend HANNA THE SPANNA (7) lost momentum after becoming awkwardly placed close to the rear of LA FONTAINE (4). LAST EXPLORER (1) and GENIA HAKA (3) made contact rounding the bend with GENIA HAKA (3) losing momentum. BLUE REVIEW (8) checked off the heels of GENIA HAKA (3) shortly after and shifted wider on the track. KNOW WISDOM (2), GENIA HAKA (3) and BLONDE TORI (6) collided early in the home straight.
Race 2	I Pave Concrete Dash - C4 - 295	TEAM DREAM (3), KNOW KNOWING (4), ON THE LEVEL (5) and MAKER'S LABEL (6) came together in the early stages with KNOW KNOWING (4) losing ground after becoming unbalanced. GO TOMMO (1) and INCREASING (2) bumped racing into the bend with the trailing TEAM DREAM (3) being hampered. KNOW KNOWING (4) and TEAM DREAM (3) collided rounding the bend. Following the race MAKER'S LABEL (6) was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Dash - C3 - 295	SWISS ACE (5) and SMOKING MARLEY (6) bumped shortly after the start. Wider out on the track STOCK TAKER (7) and BOTANY ZENVO (8) also made contact in the early stages. Approaching the bend BIG MUDDY (4) and GOLDSTAR MARIO (10) jostled for some distance. Racing into the bend BIG MUDDY (4) was checked by SWISS ACE (5) which shifted down the track and lost ground before colliding with SMOKING MARLEY (6) who in turn came together with BOTANY ZENVO (8). JUMPIN SALLY (1) came together with SMOKING MARLEY (6) rounding the bend. BIG MUDDY (4) was examined by the vet and cleared of injury.
Race 4	Christchurch Casino Stakes - C3 - 520	OPAWA JED (8) was very slow to begin. RUNAWAY TAXI (2) and OPAWA AMY (3) came together at the start. Racing into the first bend PUNCH ON JAIME (5) and GOLDSTAR BELLA (4) were checked by INVIDIOUS (6). OPAWA AMY (3) was checked when racing between OPAWA STELLA (7) and GOLDSTAR BELLA (4) turning into the back straight. OPAWA JED (8) was held up for clear racing room at the end of the back straight and lost momentum. PUNCH ON JAIME (5) and OPAWA AMY (3) came together rounding the final bend.
Race 5	DogZone Sprint - C3 - 295	OUT BACK BILL (7) was a late scratching at 6.02pm on veterinary advice after it was noticed the dog was lame on the way to the start. RINGA DING (4) shifted outwards rounding the bend forcing BUSINESS AFFAIR (5) and KNOW PRIDE (6) over extra ground.
Race 6	Shirley Vet Clinic Sprint - C5 - 295	HETFIELD (7) shifted inwards at the start checking CAWBOURNE JELLY (6) and STAR DREAMER (5). WANDY GRANT (1) and CRACKING CHAIN (2) collided shortly after the start with both dogs losing momentum. CAWBOURNE JELLY (6) and IMPERSONATOR (9) bumped rounding the bend with IMPERSONATOR (9) losing momentum as a result with the trailing WANDY GRANT (1) and CRACKING CHAIN (2) being hampered. STAR DREAMER (5) shifted outwards marginally leaving the bend which forced CAWBOURNE JELLY (6) over extra ground.
Race 7	Kolorful Kanvas Dash - C5 - 295	HASHTAG JOSH (6) and HOMEBUSH CHURRO (7) came together at the start. WANDY GAYLENE (2) checked off the heels of ANGEL NOIR (3) in the early stages. WINFIELD BLACK (1) shifted outwards approaching the first bend obliging HASHTAG JOSH (6) and HOMEBUSH CHURRO (7) to race wider on the track. As a result HOMEBUSH CHURRO (7) became awkwardly placed to the rear of HASHTAG JOSH (6) and lost ground. WINFIELD BLACK (1) checked off the heels of SMASH RUMOUR (5) rounding the bend and shifted wider on the track.
Race 8	Carol's T.A.B. Stakes - C3/4 - 520	SHEEZA FLOWER (7) was slow to begin. WHAT I LIKE (5) and BOTANY BLAKE (8) bumped in the early stages. OPAWA MICHELLE (4) was placed in restricted room by CAWBOURNE ABBI (6) racing into the first bend. OPAWA MICHELLE (4) checked off the heels of WHAT I LIKE (5) rounding the first bend. Turning into the back straight WHAT I LIKE (5) and BOTANY BLAKE (8) collided with WHAT I LIKE (5) losing several lengths. CAWBOURNE WITCH (2) checked off the heels of DEANNE'S FANTASY (1) at the end of the back straight with the trailing OPAWA MICHELLE (4) checking off the heels of CAWBOURNE WITCH (2) shortly after. When questioned regarding the improved performance of CAWBOURNE ABBI (6), kennel representative M McCook explained that the bitch had appreciated the drop in class for tonight's race.
Race 9	racingdogs.co.nz Sprint - C5 - 295	SPUD GUN (7) began very awkwardly and lost several lengths. ANGELIC STAR (8) and GOLDSTAR CHUMLEE (6) bumped at the start. WUNZEE (5) and ANGELIC STAR (8) collided in the early stages with the trailing GOLDSTAR CHUMLEE (6) being hampered. GOLDSTAR CHUMLEE (6) then shifted inwards and made contact with KERAMUS (3). TIME SLAYER (1) checked off the heels of ABOUND (2) racing into the bend with the trailing SPUD GUN (7) also being checked. SPUD GUN (7) and GOLDSTAR CHUMLEE (6) collided rounding the bend. KETUT (4) raced wide rounding the bend and in the run home. SPUD GUN (7) was referred to the vet for assessment. ABOUND (2) was examined by the vet and cleared of injury.
Race 10	Power Farming Stakes - C5 - 520	OPAWA STRETCH (1) and CAWBOURNE PHILIP (2) bumped shortly after the start. HOMEBUSH CHOPPER (4) and LITTLE REGUS (3) jostled for some distance racing into the first bend with HOMEBUSH CHOPPER (4) losing ground and checking the trailing CAWBOURNE PHILIP (2).
Race 11	C.T.V. Sprint - C5 - 295	DILLMANSTOWN (6) and CHARLIE'S CHOICE (7) collided at the start with CHARLIE'S CHOICE (7) losing several lengths. Rounding the bend MARY MARLOW (1) and NO LEAF CLOVER (3) came together with the trailing ZEBIDIAH (4) checking off the heels of MARY MARLOW (1).
Race 12	Livamol Dash - C4 - 295	STING ME (8), KNOW FAULT (7) and SMASH THAT (5) came together at the start. KNOW FAULT (7) and SMASH THAT (5) again bumped in the early stages. NOBLE FANTASY (9) was checked when positioned between CHOKEHOLD (4) and DEE (1) racing into the bend and dropped to the rear. DEE (1) checked off the heels of CHOKEHOLD (4) racing into the bend. Rounding the bend LIFE'S A LAUGH (3) when leading was dragged down by the trailing STING ME (8) and lost ground. SMASH THAT (5) collided with STING ME (8) shortly after. Leaving the bend DEE (1), KNOW FAULT (7) and SMASH THAT (5) collided. LIFE'S A LAUGH (3) was examined by the vet and cleared of injury.
