| Race 1 | www.greyhoundsaspetsorg.nz - C0 - 310 | WAIRIO DEE JAY and PUKEKO WARRIOR were slow to begin. SMASH STYLE began awkwardly and lost its footing and losing ground. In the run down the back straight TRICKY ZORRO shifted in and checked DA LAST CHOOK. WAIRIO DEE JAY raced wide through the early stages. Into the turn and DA LAST CHOOK shifted outwards taking SMASH STYLE wider on the track. Also racing into the turn TRICKY ZORRO bumped HARRIETS LAW who was unbalanced and lost ground. |
| Race 2 | Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Sprint - C0 - 310 | BOTANY JOHN was shown in the official race book for today as having a previous racing weight of 39.9 kgs. This was incorrect with the dogs correct weight being 32.9 kg. This information was disseminated. FEAR MARINA was slow to begin. Shortly after the start OZARKS DAUGHTER shifted out and BOTANY JOHN shifted in resulting in KNOW LUCK and LIL DANNY RASCAL being crowded with both dogs losing ground as a result. BAZINGA KIMBA became unbalanced and turned sideways when shifting out racing to the turn making firm contact with KNOW LUCK who also lost ground. FEAR MARINA raced in restricted room rounding the bend to the home straight. OZARKS DAUGHTER shifted ground outwards in the run home. |
| Race 3 | Forbury Sports Bar Stakes - C1 - 545 | OPAWA BRO shifted out at the start and made firm contact with SAILORS COLLAR with both dogs losing ground. FERGIE'S BELLE raced in tight quarters in the run to the first turn. PUKEKO PROWLER shifted out at the first turn and raced wider on the track from that point. SCOTSOME POWER was checked racing off the back straight when GOLDSTAR ROSIE shifted in. GOLDSTAR FRANKIE made contact with the rail on the final bend and lost momentum. A veterinary examination of GOLDSTAR FRANKIE revealed no abnormalities. |
| Race 4 | Just Essence Catering Sprint - C1 - 310 | TEE TIME shifted in at the start checking MITCHELL DEAN and ADMIRAL ADAM. ADMIRAL ADAM was checked when COSMIC BOLERO shifted in racing to the turn. BUSINESS BOSS was momentarily hampered when OPAWA LAZ shifted out racing towards the home turn. |
| Race 5 | Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Sprint - C2 - 310 | LEMAQUIS WILLOW lost ground at the start after shifting in and making heavy contact with GO BRIDIE. As the field made the bend BOTANY PETE who was in tight quarters was checked and lost ground. LEMAQUIS WILLOW had to steady on the final bend when awkward placed on heels of the runner in front. |

| Race 7 | Roofing Solutions Sprint - C1 - 310 | Racing into the bend THRILLING HENRY shifted in checking OPAWA LKUCKY who lost ground. Into the bend ZIPPIT SWEETIE shifted outwards tightening THRILLING HENRY and FIRE BOY BAXTER with both these dogs losing ground. Shortly after this ZIPPIT SWEETIE again shifted out making firm contact with on two occasions with SARAH'S DOMAIN with the trailing THRILLING HENRY having to shift ground outwards and in doing so made contact with FIRE BOY BAXTER. |
| Race 8 | Speedprint Shop Sprint - C2 - 310 | CEC DEVINE and MCJOPSON were both slow to leave the boxes. UMANGA RAMA and BOTANY WIN jostled in the run down the back straight. Racing towards the bend UMANGA RAMA shifted in checking HOMEBUSH ARIEL. On the final bend BOTANY WIN stumbled and lost momentum after making contact with the back of MISS SWEET. Into the final straight HOMEBUSH ARIEL shifted outwards taking MCJOPSON wider on the track. |
| Race 9 | Dave Robbie Photographer Stakes - C4/5 - 545 | Into the first bend BOTANY SEATON shifted in crowding OPAWA ANDREA with both these dogs being unbalanced and losing momentum. The trailing OPAWA WEBBY then galloped onto to the back of both of theses runners with all 3 dogs becoming unbalanced and losing considerable momentum. |
| Race 10 | St Kilda Veterinary Centre Sprint - C3 - 310 | Shortly after the start JOHN DORY was squeezed between runners and lost ground. Also at the same time NO MORE BEERSIES was buffeted and lost ground. Into the bend GENIA HAKA shifted in crowding GOLDSTAR MARIO who was momentarily unbalanced and lost ground. |
| Race 11 | Keyosk Service Bar Dash - C5 - 310 | GOLDSTAR CHUMLEE shifted in at the start crowding ANOTHER COLT. OSCAR TUIVASA was crowded shortly after the start and got back. Racing into the turn OPAWA COLIN has shifted ground outwards taking ANOTHER COLT out into the line of OSCAR TUIVASA who clipped a heel and fell and failed to finish the race. PEDRO FORCE shortened stride on the home bend and gave ground quickly finishing a distant last. Stewards ordered a veterinary inspection of both OSCAR TUIVASA and PEDRO FORCE. The subsequent examination of PEDRO FORCE revealed a significant injury to the left hock. The subsequent examination of OSCAR TUIVASA revealed no abnormalities. |
