Track: Good The Technician who set up the new scales was present at the early part of the meeting to explain some of the finer points regarding the use of the scales and they functioned very well throughout the kennelling process. The track was well presented and the meeting proceeded smoothly and concluded on time.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 - C0 - 305	ICAHN began awkwardly losing three lengths and he then raced very wide on the bend and into the home straight covering considerable extra ground.
Race 2	HARRISON HIRE MASTER C0 - C0 - 305	LEROY JETHRO, MEG'S ME MUM and ELBRUS were slw to begin losing three lengths. ELBRUS recovered the best of the three and made up ground well to finish in 3rd place.DARK WITCH and RADIO CALL bumped together soon after the start and became briefly unbalanced and a short distance further on, DARK WITCH and HOMEBUSH CELIA also bumped losing ground.
Race 3	WWW.RACINGTIPS.CO.NZ C0 FINAL - C0f - 520	GOODTIME MIKE was slow to begin and then slipped behind losing further ground and settled at the rear. GOODTIME MIKE then checked off the back of BOTANY CHRIS going into the first corner and lost four lengths and he staed back for the remainder of the race.
Race 4	J P PRINT (PETONE) C0 - C0 - 305	RANGER CHICK was slow to begin losing three lengths and she stayed back throughout the race. KILIMANJARO checked off the heels of SKELETON WITCH on the bend and lost two lengths.
Race 5	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305	BLACK MAGIC ROCK shifted in abruptly from the start and hampered THRILLING MIGHT, SHOWEM BABY and PHILEAS FOGG and they all lost ground. PHILEAS FOGG shifted in to the rail going into the bend and checked THRILLING MIGHT which lost two lengths. MARLENE'S TERRA went off stride soon after the start and drifted off the back of the field to finish several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have thigh muscle pain.
Race 6	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 305	KIRIBATI GIRL wanted to race away from the rail going into the bend and made contact with VISION AND POWER when that runner shifted in and KIRIBATI GIRL was checked. BIG BOY DENO which was trailing was also checked and lost ground in the incident.
Race 7	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C1 - C1 - 305	HOMEBUSH LUCIFER was very slow to begin losing several lengths but he then secured a clear run through on the rail and finished very well to win the race. FORTIS MEMORIES and MISS RAZZ jostled together for a short distance going to the first corner and they both lost ground and stayed back to finish in the rear group.
Race 8	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD C1 HEAT 1 - C1q - 520 Heat 1	DARBY LANE was slw to begin and settled back. TRENDY LASS and RICH LIST collided going into the first bend and both lost ground with RICH LIST the most affected and he lost four lengths. DARBY LANE shifted out abruptly on the home turn and collided with RICH LIST and they both lost ground with DARBY LANE the most affected.
Race 9	WANGANUI SECURITY C1 HEAT 2 - C1q - 520 Heat 2	ALLEGRO MAX was the slowest to begin but recovered well to make up ground quickly and won the race. TE MAARI STYLE raced wide throughout covering extra ground and finished in last place. SARAH CAMPBELL was hampered going into the final bend and dropped back onto CAWBOURNE PENNY and they both lost two lengths.
Race 10	CHRISTMAS @ THE RACES 5TH, 12TH & 19TH DEC C1 HEAT 3 - C1q - 520 Heat 3	BANJO'S RETREAT and NEWTON WILLOW were slow to begin losing three lengths. BANJO'S RETREAT recovered well to make up ground and finished in 2nd place but NEWTON WILLOW stayed back throughout to finish in last place.
Race 11	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 305	FIVE KAY LEG, MACGYVER RAMA and HOMEBUSH ENVY began awkwardly losing two lengths. FIVE KAY LEG and MACGYVER RAMA jostled together for some distance in the back straight and both became unbalanced. HOMEBUSH ENVY tailed the field throughout and finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a gracilus muscle injury.
Race 12	MELBOURNE CUP @ HATRICK 4TH NOVEMBER C2 - C2 - 305	WITCH MISTY shifted in from the start and hampered JOHNNY ANGEL, MANU RAMA, SHINZIGZAG and GOLD STONE and they lost ground. HEY YOU shifted out going into the bend and checked GOLD STONE and SHINZIGZAG and forced them wide into the bend.
Race 13	Non Tote - Tier 2 - 305	HOMEBUSH RADAR began very awkwardly losing several lengths and all chance and he stayed back throughout to finish in last place. CHOCDEE KAREN and CAWBOURNE PUMPER jostled going into the bend and CHOCDEE KAREN lost ground.
Race 14	Non Tote - Tier 2 - 305	BOWMAN galloped on the back ROSA GALLICA going into the bend and shifted out abruptly onto HOMEBUSH TED and all three runners lost ground and they finished in the last three places. After crossing the finish line, HOMEBUSH BARABAS was dictated out wide on the track and made contact with the outside fence and was referred to the Vet for assessment.
