Track: Good Thev track was presented in good order and the meeting was conducted in very windy weather conditions.
Scales: Checked and correct
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: The meeting was put back by one race for the remainder of the programme after a Trainer collapsed on the track just prior to the start time for race 7. An ambulance was called and the person concerned was transported to Hospital for observation and the meeting proceeded smoothly until the finish.

Race 1	www.pngreyhounds.kiwi C0 - C0 - 375	BUZZY AS and HOMEBUSH MISHA jostled together for a short distance going to the first corner and they lost ground as a consequence. ICAHN shifted out abruptly approaching the home turn and raced wide over extra ground into the straight.
Race 2	Yella Mustard At Stud C0 - C0 - 375	RADIO GOO GOO began awkwardly losing five lengths but made up ground well to finish in 4th place. RADIO GOO GOO and THE 3rd placed runner CAWBOURNE DOUST both covered extra ground when racing wide on the bend and into the straight.
Race 3	Grant Irvine Pharmacy C1 - C1 - 375	CLASSY ZARA shifted out from the start and WINFIELD AUTUMN shifted in and this resulted in checks to both those runners and also TRENDY LASS and MACGYVER RAMA which were drawn in between and all four lost ground and they settled back.
Race 4	Greyhounds As Pets C1 - C1 - 375	WHEELIE BINN began awkwardly losing four lengths and GAY THORLEY and SHOWEM BABY were also slow and they all stayed back throughout to finish in the rear group. WHEELIE BINN raced very wide on the bend and into the home straight covering considerable extra ground.
Race 5	No Moore Hassell Petfoods, Levin C1 - C1 - 457	TRIPLE AYE weighed in 1.8 kilograms lighter than his previous start which was over 7 months ago. TRIPLE AYE, SUNDAY DRIVER and WHERE'S SHIRAZ which had drawn the inside three boxes at the start, were placed in restricted room going into the bend and were eventually checked back to the rear as runners drawn further out shifted in. WHERE'S SHIRAZ recovered the best of the three and made up ground to finish in 4th place but was referred to the Vet for assessment at the Trainers request and found to have a metatarsal injury.
Race 6	Creative Catering, Awapuni C3 - C3 - 375	All clear.
Race 7	Steve The Auctioneer Davis C2 - C2 - 457	The meeting was put back by one race, commencing with this race. ( Refer to the Judicial section ) CURIOUS LIFE began very awkwardly and almost fell when jumping from the boxes and as a consequence, she lost all chance and finished in 7th place.
Race 8	Rose City Motel, Palmerston North C4 - C4 - 375	ENHANCER was slow to begin losing three lengths and he then raced wide on the bend covering extra ground. KAZILLION shifted in from the start and hampered FIGLIA and OPAWA LEAN MEAT and they settled back. SIR RICHIE shifted in going into the bend and dictated the line of WEE DIGER which was forced in onto FIGLIA which was checked and blundered losing ground.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company Ltd C1 - C1 - 457	COOLABAH BLUE was slow to begin losing three lengths but he recovered to make up ground for 3rd place. BOSTON SPIRIT and FILLING THE VOID came together and jostled for some distance going to the first corner and they were unbalanced and drifted out making contact with SARAH CAMPBELL with all three losing four lengths and they stayed back to finish in the last three places.
Race 10	Calendar Restricted Age Dash - R/A - 375	CAESAR CHANCE and WILD AS ANGELS both began awkwardly and were briefly unbalanced and they settled back and were not able to make up the lost ground.
Race 11	Calendar Restricted Stakes - R/A - 457	BIGTIME DASHER came out of the boxes awkwardly and shifted out to collided with TIFINO and they lost three lengths and never recovered. PREMIER DIVISION shifted in going into the bend and caused checks to JIBBAJABBA JEWEL and ALWAYS WELCOME and they went back to the rear and stayed back for the remainder of the race.
Race 12	Manawatu Cup & Nancy Cobain Heats 13th October C3/4 - C3/4 - 457	TRIDENT shifted out onto CAWBOURNE ARIES and SPEED LEGEND and they jostled together going into the bend and SPEED LEGEND was the most affected losing four lengths and all chance.
Race 13	Tier 2 C1 - Tier 2 - 375	The race was cancelled prior to raceday.
