| Race 1 | Super Pets Sprint - C4 - 295 | KNOW KNOWING (3) and BILLY WEST (5) were the last pair on jumping. BILLY WEST then ran outwards contacting CHOKEHOLD (8) and MAKER'S LABEL (7) who had come together wider out. ZOE BRAND (2) faltered in the back straight and dropped out to a long last with this bitch being sent to the vet for assessment. Into the bend MAKER'S LABEL checked off the back of BLONDE TORI for a stride and then came into contact with CHOKEHOLD and BILLY WEST with this trio losing their chances at this point. |
| Race 2 | The Miller Bar & Cafe Dash - C4/5 - 295 | IMPERSONATOR (4), TIME SLAYER (5) and NOBLE FANTASY (7) were the tardiest trio from the traps. TERRA ANNIE (6) angled wider on the bend with NOBLE FANTASY being obliged to race wide around the bend. IMPERSONATOR checked outwards and lost momentum when looking to obtain room in the home straight. |
| Race 3 | Thursday Place Pick Distance - C2d - 645 | COURT THE BELLE (1), BLUSHING BELLE (4) and OPAWA TANIA (8) were a touch slow to jump. JINJA POWER (5) was tightened into the first bend. GOLDSTAR BELLA (6) was checked with a lap to go and lost a length. THRILLING SOUND (9) was tightened at the end of the back straight and dropped to the rear. |
| Race 4 | I Pave Concrete Sprint - C4 - 295 | STING ME (7) was last on settling. DEANNE'S MAGIC (2) faltered into the bend and dropped to a clear last with this dog being sent to the vet for assessment. ONLY GOT TIME (8) ran wide on the home turn when well back. KNOW JEALOUSY (3) was denied clear racing room late in the home straight when finishing strongly. Trainer D Stapleton advised that DEANNE'S MAGIC has been retired from racing. |
| Race 5 | Clarkson Sign Studio Sprint - C4/5 - 295 | FIREMAN'S LEGACY (4) ran inwards in the early stages checking CAPTAIN'S CHOICE (3) and ADROIT (2). FIREMAN'S LEGACY was tightened into the bend and lost ground. Following the race CAPTAIN'S CHOICE was referred to the vet for assessment. |
| Race 6 | Carol's T.A.B. Stakes - C4/5 - 520 | DREAM COLLECTOR (4) was last to jump. DREAM ACADEMY (5) and GEE CEE BEE (8) both angled wide into the first bend forcing an improving DREAM COLLECTOR very wide around that bend. DREAM ACADEMY was referred to the vet for assessment following this event. |
| Race 7 | Shirley Vet Clinic Sprint - C4/5 - 295 | IRISH BLUE (3) was checked to the rear in the early stages after being sandwiched between EXCUSE PLEASE (10) and MER DE NOMS (9). MER DE NOMS was dragged down for a stride into the bend and lost ground with RODRIGUEZ (6) being badly held up as a result. On the home turn IRISH BLUE and OHOKA COBY (8) came together for a stride. |
| Race 8 | N.Z. Racing Series Advanced Heat 1 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 1 | OPAWA STRETCH (1) and KNOW AMBITION (4) were the last pair on settling. SHEEZA FLOWER (3) checked for a stride off the heels of HOMEBUSH KELSO (6) into the first bend with OPAWA CASPER (8) receiving a slight check and KNOW AMBITION being forced wide when improving. Trainer R Adcock could offer no explanation for the improvement of the winner CULVIE MAGIC other than to note that her last two runs were at Ascot Park and tonight she was racing on her favoured Addington circuit. |
| Race 9 | N.Z. Racing Series Advanced Heat 2 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 2 | OPAWA WEBBY (3) was checked in the early stages as ROBBIE (2) attempted to shift up the track. Into the first bend KNOW CERTAINTY (7) ran inwards causing severe tightening to OPAWA ANDREA (4) and ROBBIE who lost ground and their winning chances. KNOW CERTAINTY ran wide around the first bend after contacting an improving OPAWA WEBBY on his inside. |
| Race 10 | N.Z. Racing Series Advanced Heat - NZRSq - 520 Heat 3 | KNOW ATTEMPT (4) and DOLEUZE (7) were the last pair on settling. WHAT I LIKE (5) was tightened into the first bend and lost ground. SPEEDY KAZZA (3), DOLEUZE and KNOW ATTEMPT all raced wide into the first bend. SPEEDY KAZZA after racing wide into the bend proceeded to lose ground in the back straight finishing at the rear and was referred to the vet for assessment. |
| Race 11 | Bill's Bar & Bistro Dash - C4/5 - 295 | PLAGIARISM (1) and GOLDSTAR CHUMLEE (3) were the last pair to jump. On the home turn ANGEL NOIR (8) ran outwards and pushed KERAMUS (7) wider on two occasions. KERAMUS then angled inwards checking ANGEL NOIR who was turned sideways and lost ground. |
| Race 12 | Snow-e Muscle, Energy & Fertility Dash - C4 - 295 | In an ordinary dispatch KNOW ADVANTAGE (2), BUMP (6), WILL EXCITE (7) and FANTASTIC FOUR (8) were all slow to jump. Into the bend BELLWAVE (3) angled outwards off the heels of WEE TERRA (1) pushing BUMP wider on the track as this runner was attempting to improve. |
