Track: Good The track was presented in good order and the meeting proceeded smoothly. A number of Greyhounds which were scheduled to be kennelled in the late kennelling were unable to be weighed after the scales malfunctioned and the problem will be rectified prior to the next meeting in two days time.

Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: FIJIAN DANDY in race 1 and RIKKI'S REBEL in race 10 both eased up part way through their respective races and eventually they both finished a long last. They were referred to the Vet for assessments and were stood down with muscle pain and are also required to complete satisfactory trials under the provisions of Rule 81.1 before next starting at Totalisator meetings.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 - C0 - 305	KILIMANJARO was very slow to begin losing several lengths and all chance. HOMEBUSH PIPPI and PORTOBELLO PATSY were also slow to begin losing three lengths. FIJIAN DANDY began well but shortened stride going to the first corner and he continued to lose ground and finished a distance behind the 2nd last runner. FIJIAN DANDY was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have pain in a whip muscle with a 10 day stand down required. FIJIAN DANDY is also required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing.
Race 2	HARRISON HIRE MASTER C0 - C0 - 305	GOODTIME HELEN shifted in from the start and dictated the line of REDSTAR REAPER which was forced onto the line of WHEELIE OVER IT which was hampered and lost ground. WHEELIE OVER IT then shifted out and raced very wide for the remainder of the race, covering considerable extra ground. DOGGED DENNIS, HOMEBUSH CELIA and REDSTAR REAPER jostled for a short distance going to the first corner and they all lost ground and finished in the rear group.
Race 3	www.RacingTips.co.nz C0 - C0 - 520	WALL AGE, BOTANY CHRIS and NAVAJO BLUE bumped together soon after the start and lost momentum briefly. NAVAJO BLUE shifted out going into the first corner and raced wide making contact with BOTANY CHRIS and RUBY TWO BEE and all three lost several lengths in the incident and stayed back to finish at the rear.
Race 4	J P PRINT (PETONE) C1 Ht1 - C1q - 305 Heat 1	NO PARKING began awkwardly losing four lengths and he never recovered and finished in 2nd last place. FIVE KAY LEG and GAY THORLEY became awkwardly place behind BOSS MAN SLOY going into the bend and they lost ground. The first two place runners, BIG FAT GYPSY and ZAMADDIS LASS both shifted ground slightly in the home straight and bumped but went to the line clear of other runners and held their positions in the lead.
Race 5	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 Ht2 - C1q - 305 Heat 2	STILL DON'T KNOW began very awkwardly and blundered losing four lengths but made up ground well to finish in 4th place. THRILLING MIGHT shifted in going into the bend and severely checked BLAIRLY ALIVE which lost several lengths and all chance and she finished in last place.
Race 6	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 Ht3 - C1q - 305 Heat 3	MARLENE'S TERRA and WHEELIE BINN were slow to begin losing four lengths but they both recovered well to finish in 3rd and 4th places. SERVE YA PURPOSE and MADAM ICE jostled going to the first corner and they both became unbalanced and lost ground. WHEELIE BINN shifted out approaching the home turn and forced MADAM ICE and FORTIS FIONA to run wide into the straight covering extra ground.
Race 7	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C1 Ht4 - C1q - 305 Heat 4	APPLAUSE shifted out from the start and VISION AND POWER shifted in which resulted in tightening and checks to SHINZIGZAG, GEM'S CONQUEST, PRANCING BEE and CREME DA GENES and they were all affected to varying degrees. VISION AND POWER shifted in going into the bend and severeely checked GEM'S CONQUEST which lost three lengths.
Race 8	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD C1 Ht5 - C1q - 305 Heat 5	HAT TRICK CHAOS and OPEHU FLYER shifted in soon after the start and caused checks to ROSA GALLICA which clipped a heel and blundered and OPALESCENT and they went back to the rear. OPALESCENT and ROSA GALLICA then raced wide on the bend covering extra ground and stayed back to finish at the rear.
Race 9	WANGANUI SECURITY C1 Ht6 - C1q - 305 Heat 6	BLACK MAGIC ROCK shifted in abruptly from the start and caused checks to FLIRT WITH ME, WINFIELD AUTUMN and CHEVY IMPALA which were all unbalanced briefly. WINFIELD AUTUMN recovered quickly and shifted in across the line of PROCRASTINATION which was checked and lost two lengths. WINFIELD AUTUMN was also inconvenienced when PROCRASTINATION clliped her heels but she recovered and went on to win the race. FLIRT WITH ME shifted out after the early check and she raced wide throughout covering extra ground.
Race 10	KEENAN CONCRETE C1 - C1 - 520	RIKKI'S REBEL was handily placed on the final bend but faltered and quickly dropped back through the field and finished the race a long last. RIKKI'S REBEL was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have pain in both thigh muscles and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing.
Race 11	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 520	FILLING THE VOID was checked soon after the start and blundered and nearly fell and he lost several lengths and stayed back throughout the race to finish in last place. A short distance further on, OLLIE BAXTER was checked losing three lengths.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C2 - C2 - 305	VENGA GUAPA shifted out going to the first turn and hampered WHEELIE RASCAL for a stride when making contact with that runners hind quarters. VENGA GUAPA continued to shift out and caused checks to LEGAND BEE and HOMEBUSH TIARE going into the bend and they both lost ground.
Race 13	Non Tote - Tier 2 - 305	COSMIC SALLY was the slowest to begin and lost a length. She then made ground adjacent to the rail but was checked going into the bend when CAWBOURNE PUMPER shifted in onto her running line and COSMIC SALLY lost three lengths and stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 14	Non Tote - Tier 2 - 305	All clear.
