Judicial report: A hearing was held on Friday 26th September 2014 with regard to an Information being issued to Trainer Mr John Goode. This Information alleged Mr Goode was in Breach of the Board's Dress Code under Rule 88.1.y. when handling his Dog MR JOHNNY in Race 11, The Kolorful Kanvas Stakes at Addington Raceway on the 15th August 2014. After hearing evidence from Stewards and Mr Goode the J.C.A found the charge proven and issued Mr Goode a fine of $50.00. Mr Goode was also directed to pay costs to the J.C.A of $150.00.

Trainers J Lane and R Wales were fined $150.00 as per the Minor Infringements Table after admitting a breach of Rule 64.2. The details of this breach were that OPAWA UNO was nominated and made the fields at both Addington and Ascot Park today. OPAWA UNO started at Ascot Park and in accordance with Rule 64.3 is stood down for 28 days as from 1 October.

Handler S Hurd was fined $50.00 as per the Minor Infringements Table after admitting a breach of Rule 71.4 when failing to catch BOTANY RICHIE at the conclusion of Race 9 as arranged.

COME ON DOLLY ( M Dempsey) was ordered to complete a satisfactory trial under Rule 81 after her performance in Race 7.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C1 - 295	AXEL FOLEY (3) was last to jump. AOKAUTERE (2) was tightened and checked into the bend dropping to the rear with this dog being referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 2	C.T.V. Dash - C1 - 295	CAWBOURNE CRUZE (1) and MR. NOVEMBER (2) were tardily away from the traps. MR. NOVEMBER was held up for room when attempting to improve into the bend with this dog then angling wide once clear room was obtained. On the home turn CAWBOURNE CRUZE ran wide placing SOME GENES (5) in restricted room.
Race 3	I Pave Concrete Stakes - C1 - 520	KNOW CLOWN (7) was last to jump. MISS SELFIES (8) ran inwards tightening PUKEKO FLYER (6) and CAN'T CATCH TIM (5) in the early stages. OPAWA LACHLAN (2) was badly checked in the run to the first bend dropping to the rear. Into that bend CAN'T CATCH TIM was dragged down as OPAWA MESSINI (4) ran outwards. At the end of the back straight OPAWA LACHLAN ran inwards badly checking CAN'T CATCH TIM who lost ground and ran outwards hampering OPAWA MESSINI with this pair losing their chances. OPAWA LACHLAN and KNOW CLOWN both scouted wide on the home turn. CAN'T CATCH TIM was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 4	Clarkson Sign Studio Sprint - C1 - 295	MASSAGE ONLY (4) was last to jump. Into the bend MULL IT OVER (2) checked off the back of UNRELIABLE ANDY (5) and pushed RUNWAY QUEEN (3) wider for a stride. RANGITATA RAIDER (1) ran wide on the home turn losing ground.
Race 5	Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C1 - 520	OPAWA DOSH (7) was last to jump. CAWBOURNE MIAMI (1) and AXEL GRINDER (2) were both placed in restricted room in the run to the first bend as GOLDSTAR FRANKIE (3) angled inwards. GOLDSTAR FRANKIE checked outwards for a stride on the home turn causing some inconvenience to CAWBOURNE MIAMI and LOUISA'S GIRL (6).
Race 6	Garrard's Horse And Hound Dash - C1 - 295	LEMON FISH (4) was last to jump. OHOKA JOKA (1) was checked and lost ground SHE'S SMASHING (2) ran inwards and took his line in the early stages. JET TO MARS (5) was keen to run outwards in the back straight checking VAN GERWIN (6) into the bend with VAN GERWIN losing ground. HOMEBUSH ROCKY (7) was hampered in behind these runners.
Race 7	The Turf Bar Stakes - C1 - 520	KNOW SOLUTION (3) and BOTANY LIZ (7) were the last pair on jumping. At the entrance to the back straight COME ON DOLLY (1) ran outwards checking JEWEL EAGLE (6) and continued to run outwards checking WEARS THE GOLD (5) with this pair losing ground. Stewards viewed all available angles of the replay of the race to establish as to whether COME ON DOLLY had marred the running of WEARS THE GOLD. It was found that although COME ON DOLLY had run outwards and contact was made there was doubt as to whether marring had occurred. After hearing submissions from Trainer M Dempsey and from Stewards own observations COME ON DOLLY was ordered to complete a satisfactory trial before her next race day appearance.
Race 8	Amber Cleaning Services Sprint - C1 - 295	CABARITA (3) ran inwards in the early stages tightening OHOKA FAITH (2) and ELWOOD SENSATION (1). CABARITA then dragged ELWOOD SENSATION down into the bend with this pair losing ground. ELWOOD SENSATION and OHOKA FAITH both ran wide on the home turn. OHOKA FAITH was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 9	NZ Racing Series Novice Final - NZRSf - 520	OPAWA HALLY (6) was tightened in the run to the first bend and dropped to the rear. GEE WHIZZ JEANIE (3) and SHADOW BAXTER (5) came together in the run to the first bend. KNOW JUDGE (1) was inclined to run outwards on the first bend
Race 10	Coalgate Tavern Stakes - C1 - 520	WANDY ON IN (8) was last to jump. TEEMIRO (6) was caught wide in the early and middle stages weakening over the concluding stages. When questioned in regards to the seemingly disappointing performance of TEEMIRO Trainer R Blackburn confirmed that she was disappointed with the run notwithstanding the fact that the dog was caught wide in the running. Mrs Blackburn added that the dog would be changing kennels before his next race start.
Race 11	Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C1 - 295	BLAZING HOT (7) and WAXEYE'S BIG KID (8) were the last pair on jumping with HOORAY FOR HAZEL (3) also settling well back. SUPREME SHELLEEN (2) was tightened into the bend losing ground with HOORAY FOR HAZEL being forced wide. Early in the home straight BLAZING HOT angled outwards contacting HOORAY FOR HAZEL for a stride.
Race 12	Snow-e Muscle, Energy & Fertility Dash - C1 - 295	CORPORATE IMAGE (8) was last to jump. HOMEBUSH RAMONA (6) ran inwards in the early stages pushing OHOKA STRIKA (5) down the track with both runners losing ground. VALLDEMOSSA (2) and HARPER'S BIZARRE (1) were tightened into the bend and lost ground as BOTANY WIN (3) angled inwards. On the home turn VALLDEMOSSA ran inwards tightening HARPER'S BIZARRE who was forced to check outwards losing ground.
