Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: Following the running of race 9, when attempting to retrieve his greyhound at the lure, Licensed handler Mr. J Hall was struck from behind by the fallen runners which had not yet reached the lure. Mr Hall required medical attention following this event and was transferred to Middlemore Hospital for further evaluation.

Race 1	Members Bonus Day Stakes - C0 - 527	MISS VOTCHKA ran inwards entering the first turn crowding EFFIE AWARDS which became awkwardly placed on that runners heels and shifted out. Inconveneiced as a result were the trailing HINUERA GIRL and I'M JOE BLACK. MISS VOTCHKA continued to angle inwards and shortly after collided with LIFE CYCLE which was unbalanced. BOSS WAVE commenced to yield ground along the back straight and was observed to shorten stride noticeably. BOSS WAVE was referred to the Veterinarian which revealed soreness in the right shoulder.
Race 2	MTA Gift Vouchers Sprint - C0 - 318	WESTERLEY WIND ran outwards leaving the boxes hampering ATOMIC RUSH which lost ground. ASTA and THRILLING ORLA jostled for several strides approaching the bend, with ASTA becoming awkwardly placed on the back of MISS RAZZ which became unbalanced after being bumped. ATOMIC RUSH which trailed, improved up onto the heels of ASTA and shifted out abruptly resulting in checks to DRURY and HEY JIMMY who both lost ground. HEY JIMMY ran home strongly in the straight finishing in 5th postion.
Race 3	Sel's TAB Mangere Series Heat 1 - C1q - 318 Heat 1	LOLA'S QUEST jumped inwards abruptly from the boxes making heavy contact with FORTIS LION. TEE KAY YAPPER(Fav) was slow to begin. TEE KAY YAPPER was obliged to make its run wide rounding the bend and in doing so became awkwardly placed on the heels of PROCASTINATION, having to shift wider to continue to improve. LOLA'S QUEST led the field rounding the bend and shortly after was brought down from behind after FORTIS LION improved up onto the heels of LOLA'S QUEST. LOLA'S QUEST was referred to the Veterinarian which revealed soreness in the left calf muscle. Following the race, connections of TEPIRITA ENFORCE requested that the greyhound be examined by the Veterinarian which revealed lacerations to the right hind leg.
Race 4	Video Replay @ www.agrc.co.nz Sprint - C0 - 318	PINETREE BLUE was slow to jump. GOODTIME HELEN ran inwards over the early stages making heavy contact with PEETA MELLARK. REDSTAR REAPER and PEETA MELLARK bumped approaching the bend, resulting in PEETA MELLARK being turned inward into the line of REDSTAR REAPER which raced in restricted room for several strides. MOVIN' AHEAD was checked going into the bend when racing between PINETREE BLUE and BIGTIME FLO which shifted out abruptly.
Race 5	Sel's TAB Mangere Series Heat 2 - C1q - 318 Heat 2	HAT TRICK CHAOS shifted inwards on the point of the bend causing tightening to BELFAST JANE which lost ground. CAWBOURNE MALKY raced in restricted room rounding the bend when attempting a narrow run between MARLENE'S TERRA and JETSUN STORM. CAWBOURNE MALKY clipped the heels of HAT TRICK CHAOS over the early stages of the straight and fell. CAWBOURNE MALKY regained it's footing and finished at the lure. Following the event CAWBOURNE MALKY underwent a Veterinary examination which revealed wrist sprain.
Race 6	Carol's TABs Stakes - C1 - 527	THREE RIVERS, ELEPHANT TRUNK and CAWBOURNE LOGAN all jostled for several strides over the initial stages. SHERIFF ROSCOE shifted out abruptly rounding the first bend hampering LARTO which was unbalanced and THREE RIVERS which was forced to race wider. CAWBOURNE LOGAN which trailed was inconvenienced. CAWBOURNE LOGAN misjudged the first bend and contacted the rail becoming unbalanced. CAWBOURNE LOGAN was referred to the Veterinarian and was cleared of injury.
Race 7	$20,000 Terminating Pick6 Stakes - C1 - 527	ROCKY BOY shifted in entering the first turn checking LOCHINVAR SONIC, which went back onto IT'S THE DREAM. LOCHINVAR SONIC then received another check entering the back straight when galloped on from behind by COME ON MICKEY as NEWTON WILLOW shifted outwards when racing to the inside of LOCHINVAR SONIC.
Race 8	Greyhounds North Maiden Distance - C0d - 603	CAWBOURNE ALPHA shifted in passing the winning post the first occasion checking BLOO BLOOMERS which lost ground and settled at the rear.
Race 9	Jack's Wholesale Meats Stakes - C4/5 - 527	PREMIER OSTI and SHARELLA were both badly checked and fell leaving the back straight when ZIPPING ORRICK shifter inwards, with LOCHINVAR BRANDO also receiving a check when at the rear. Following the race, PREMIER OSTI underwent a Veterinary examination which revealed soreness in the right hip. SHARELLA was also examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and was cleared of injury. When attempting to retrieve his greyhound at the lure, Licensed handler Mr. J Hall was struck from behind by the fallen runners which had not yet reached the lure. Mr Hall required medical attention following this event and was transferred to Middlemore Hospital for further evaluation.
Race 10	Lochinvar Marlow Stakes - C2/3 - 527	THREAT had to check off the heels of ZIPPING WILL entering the first turn when towards the rear. ZIPPING WILL was checked on the final turn after KING'S LEGACY gave ground.
Race 11	Plasterboard Ltd Stakes - C4 - 527	FANCY TIP gave ground entering the first turn and appeared uneven in it's gait before trailing the field. FANCY TIP was referred to the Veterinarian for assessment which revealed a gracllis muscle injury.
Race 12	Trophies Plus Sprint - C2 - 318	LACHLAN'S DEVIL lost ground leaving the back straight after clipping the heel of COOL TIME.
