FEAR MARINA (8) ran inwards into the bend causing tightening to HOMEBUSH ZANE (4), SACAJAWEA (3) and MARTY MCMOTH (1) who all lost momentum with OHOKA TOO SOON also being inconvenienced. DARCY BRASCO improved on the rail on the home turn causing MARTY MCMOTH and FEAR MARINA to brush together on his outside. |
| Race 2 | Happy 84th Birthday Ray Anderson Stakes - C0 - 520 | KNOW ANTERNET (7) was last to jump. EM CEE DEE (1) received a check in the early stages and lost ground. SUSAN JEWEL (2) checked outwards off the hind quarters of KNOW ANTERNET on the first bend and pushed KINLOCH ACTION (6) wider on the track. At the entrance to the back straight KINLOCH POWER (3) lost momentum after being dragged down from behind by KNOW ANTERNET. EM CEE DEE commenced to weaken on the home turn finishing a distant last. SUSAN JEWEL angled wide on the home turn pushing ZAHRA MOON (4) over extra ground. |
| Race 3 | Christchurch Casino Sprint - C2 - 295 | CAMRAY (7) and ANOTHER ANOTHER (1) dropped to the rear in the early stages. MARBELLA (3) was held up in the run to the bend. GO BRIDIE (6) and STARBURST BENNY (5) were both tightened into the bend losing ground. STARBURST BENNY angled outwards on the home turn pushing GO BRIDIE wider on the track. |
| Race 4 | Active Electrical Christchurch - C0 - 520 | KINLOCH BELLE (8) was a late scratching at kennelling when found to be in season. MERCEDES GOLD (2) was very slow to jump. ZULU CHANEL (4) was badly tightened and checked into the first bend and lost ground with HOMEBUSH BOUNCE (6), YOU'RE SO FREE (7) and MERCEDES GOLD all being hampered. On the home turn YOU'RE SO FREE angled outwards and came together with OPAWA TOP (1) with both dogs losing momentum for a stride. |
| Race 5 | Opawa Bowl & Jack Tavern Sprint - C3 - 295 | GENIA HAKA (5) proved very troublesome at boxing. WELLYWOOD (8) was last to jump with JED NORTON (6) and GENIA HAKA also settling well back. SMASH EASY (4) and CONALOO (7) jostled for some strides before SMASH EASY was checked into the bend and lost ground. WELLYWOOD was forced to race wide around the home turn. |

| Race 7 | Shirley Vet Clinic Dash - C2 - 295 | GOLDSTAR CHYNA (2) and YALDHURST EDWARD (6) were last to leave the traps. CAWBOURNE CLOCK (8) angled inwards into the bend checking HOMEBUSH CRAIG (5) who ran outwards checking STARBURST HANNAH (7) who lost ground and stumbled dropping to the rear. YALDHURST EDWARD was forced to switch wide in the run home to obtain clear racing room. |
| Race 8 | Amber Cleaning Services Sprint - C0 - 295 | KNOW LUCK (2) was last on settling. MR. ZAFONIC (8) and EYREWELL HAWKE (4) collided in the back straight. CAWBOURNE KITT (3) was held up into the bend and ran outwards pushing KNOW LUCK wider on the track. On the home turn MR. ZAFONIC checked outwards off the back of CAWBOURNE KITT and pushed HOMEBUSH DOBBY (6) outwards on to KNOW LUCK who was checked. |

| Race 10 | Mamaja At Stud Stakes - C2 - 520 | TAKE A TRICK (6) was a clear last on jumping. CULVIE SPRITE (4) angled inwards in the early stages checking OPAWA BRO (3) who dropped to the rear. VOUSSOIR (1) ran outwards into the first bend pushing TRUE BLUE STYLE (8) wider on the track. |
| Race 11 | Glenbyre Tavern Sprint - C3 - 295 | ISABELLE DOMAIN (5), GO TOMMO (7) and BILLY MUGGINS (8) were the last trio on jumping. KNOW FAVOURS (1) ran wide into the bend. GO TOMMO also angled wide coming together with SHEZA GAMBLE (4) for a stride. |
